I just had my first experience at 202 nails salon. I am really upset with the service I just received. John spent less than 10 seconds massaging my hands during my manicure. When I said something, he timed his massage during my pedicure and it was horrible. He hasn't the slightest idea what he is doing. He also gave the worst neck massage I've ever experienced. Additionally, he rushed through my manicure which left it sloppy until I complained for him to fix it. It was my first time here and I am really disappointed with my experience. There was nothing that made it special; in fact, it was one of the worst pedicure/manicure experiences I've had. With that being said, the woman at the front desk was LOVELY. She was so nice! Also, the other people I was with said their services were fine, so I may have just gotten a really bad technician. read more

It has been about a year since I did my first review of 202 Nails. It does not disappoint. The staff is friendly, fast and most of all great at what they do. Do yourself a favor and stop in to treat yourself. Go see Thao! She did my fills and they looked amazing. I had even brought in a photo of how I wanted them painted and she made it happen. First time going here and it's amazing! They have a bar area with alcohol, snacks, and cookies. A ton of different regular, dip, and gel colors. Everyone was professional and polite. Took about 20 minutes to get my nails done- super fast! Good music and three TVs. I only got a gel manicure for $29- but they have a spa area in the back as well. read more

Charged $39 bucks for a Refill with gel polish. No tips, just acrylic! I asked to see a price menu and what they charged doesn't line up. She's like, "that's how much it is in thIs area and we price match". That's what I get for skipping out on my regular place in west chester that only costs $28 in west chester and $25 in society hill! I also asked what kind of massages and she looked at me like I had 9 heads. How about you are a little more courteous to your new customers? Everyone is entitled to a bad day and I'm entitled to not like the service that was just provided to me. So, if any other manicurists in the Glen Mills//Garnet Valley area want a new client, message me! 202 Nails is by far the nicest salon I have been to. It is very clean and offers a lot of great services. I've noticed that it definitely takes longer than at other salons, but I always love the way my nails look when I am finished, so it is something I can live with. I guess it's definitely better than being rushed and my nails coming out poorly! After seeing the salon and knowing the area, I expected it to be so expensive but the prices are very reasonable in my opinion. I have had my nails done by someone different almost every time and I haven't had a bad technician yet. I would definitely recommend 202 Nails! read more

Living in Utah makes you assume that the rest of the country is just as rural and that everything good is hard to find. I called 202 and they were quickly able to fit me in despite the short notice and how busy they were. I had an ombré dip powder fill - which is amazingly hard to get in SLC - and it was fantastic! The young lady that did my nails was friendly, detail oriented and very talented. She made sure to trim my cuticles (which I normally have to remind salons in SLC) and shaped my nails to perfection. Disappointed. I wanted to like this nail salon so badly. The salon is beautiful and they have happy hour which I think is very innovative, however, I hate my nails. I got a dip powder manicure and the color is inconsistent, they weren't filed and buffed down evenly and I was cut. I will say that the manager offered to fix my nails if I come back within a week, however I was in the area for work only for the day so this wasn't an option for me. read more

I found this nail salon over the summer and I am never going anywhere else. I have had my nails done by Linda during all of my visits. She is fast, professional and very talented. When she does my dip powered nails they typically stay nice for 3+ weeks! The place is clean and the service is efficient. At the drying station on my first visit. I had a gel manicure and $38 pedi with Susan. She just finished up a strong, thorough 10 min neck rub that was great. My nails are just as I wanted and I felt welcome and relaxed. My only snag was the loud '80s music - I would much prefer some ' spa' type instrumentals. I liked that I could pick my 'flavor salt' and Susan changed up the components of my pedi to add in mint and citrus bc I'm not a fan of lavender. It was a nice way to spend a snowy afternoon with a very full glass of wine. read more

the first time i went to 202 was my first time in years and i was put with vi who did an amazing full set on me with gel polish. i told her k was in a rush and she really took care of me up until i got out the door. i really appreciated her hard work. while i was there she told me she had to buy her own polish and some supplies. after finding out there was new management from a frjend of mine i found out this place was almost like a free for all. after 3 weeks i went back for a refill. i called the day before and made an appointment for 10:45am saturday morning with vi. at 10:45 i was called being told vi was late and wouldn't be able to take me until 11. no rush i'm already here. at 11 i get called asked if i can take a 1:45 apppintment. i told them i couldn't and she told me vi was still late but to come in and i would get serviced by someone else. at this point i'm in a rush. i walk in at 11 when i was told to come to get a refill by someone else. i am not approached until 11:30 and don't get serviced till 11:45. the guy who did my nails was so rude and didn't deserve to work there at all. he was rude, had snippy remarks and was just truly so pissed he had to do my nails. none of my nails are the same size and they came off after 2 weeks. i can usually go 4-5ish weeks with a full set. following up, the girl who ran the desk was a complete imbecile. i'm assuming she was the owners daughter because she kept running back to a nail tech. there was at least 4 other people who had made appointments waiting. the first time i came, it was bella working the desk and granted it was a much slower time it was way more organized. it's a clean salon overall aswell. honestly i've had a 50/50 experience here. the prices are decent compared to where else i to omnia. read more

I've been coming here to see Lynn and Kevin for over a decade and have had the pleasure of seeing the salon grow. 10 years later and the quality of the manicures, pedicures, and all services have stayed absolutely incredible! I was looking for a new nail salon and I came across 202 Nails. They seemed to have pretty good reviews all around and they weren't to far away from my house, so I figured I'd give them a try. When I called to make my appointment I SPECIFICALLY told them that I not only had gel polish but also all gel nails. I also asked if there were nail techs there that knew how to do designs and I was told that there were PLENTY of girls there that could do ANY DESIGN THAT I WANTED!! But instead when I get there, the girl up at the desk was so rude in helping me figure out what polish was gel or not (remember I've NEVER been there before) then I get stuck with this girl that literally took off my old set with the nail tips so rough that my cuticles still hurt almost a week later. But the worst part of my whole experience was that when she asked me what color polish I wanted I told her I wanted a design. So when I showed it to her, her exact words were "I can't do that, find something else." I'm sitting there in complete disbelief that she not only couldn't do the design, but that she spoke to me that way. So I ended up showing her like 4 or 5 other designs that she still couldn't do, and then I asked her if she could even do them in the first place and if she could what could she do? So I ended up with some ugly leopard print design that I didn't even want but that's all she could do. But this is the BEST PART... I paid almost double what I pay at my old salon for a horrible job and experience all around. If there was an option to give zero stars or even negative stars I would give that but I can't. One word: DIRTY!! This was the 3rd time at this salon, and I was so disgusted today I literally tore off the foils soaking my gel and walked out. I was told by my tech that I need to wait a little longer to get started...aka her and the other techs ate McDonald's right next to me in the middle of the salon. Ew. At least hide it in the back! That was tip of the iceberg for me. Not to mention they do not properly clean the equipment btw clients which I witnessed. the first time i came here i had a really great experience, the girl who did my nails did an incredible job, the place is really clean. they offer drinks, the music isn't too loud, it's a pretty nice environment.. i went to get a gel manicure this weekend though and i think i just really got the wrong person.. i kept asking her to remove dust from the polish- she kept trying to put the top coat over it.. she left my nails really rugged on the ends and i had to file them over when i got home, the polish is thick on the ends of my nails and driving me crazy, it's just a sloppy job and i'm really bummed about it, honestly. i would not have that tech touch my nails again. read more

This was my second and moat likely my last visit to 202 nails. My first visit was friendly but my nails were a mess. I spent 4 hours there and had to go back the next day to get them fixed. I appreciated the fact that they were willing to help, however one of my nails broke 3 days after I got them done. I chalked this up to my own stupidity... I went back yesterday for a pedi and refill... my pedi lasted less then 30 minutes... she rushed through everything she did. My toe polish is bumpy and rippled because she didn't let the gel polish cure long enough... then she did the same thing to my nails... now, the day after I got my nails done my thumb nail snapped in half while I was buttoning a button! Snapped right in half where she glued it on. I paid $95 dollars for my nails and toes and tipped $20, just to have to glue my nail back together the next day and trying to hide my terrible pedicure from my boyfriend who paid for it all. I don't know if it was a lack of effort or a lack of quality in product but something isn't right. I will finding a new nail salon from now on. read more

202 Nails has traditionally been great on all counts. Currently their Covid protocol is good. Unfortunately, my acrylics are disappointing. The technician hurt me several times, both with the drimmel to shape and simply her nails in applying my overlays. The shape of my nails is inconsistent and chunky. I see a little confusion in the shop as they try to cover both the restaurant next door obviously owned by the same people, and the salon. My daughter also had her nails done, and while her technician was more friendly, she too is disappointed with the shape and polish on her nails. If you're looking for a quick, relatively priced mani/pedi - then by all means, this is your place. While I don't mind quick (sometimes we need to get in and out), I usually head in for a mani/pedi to relax - which was not going to happen here. With the quick, came sloppy. Sadly, the polish wasn't finished on the tips, and was chipping 3 hours later (on both my fingers and toes). Also, while a massage is nice while your nails dry, you should probably warn new customers - it was a bit startling to be at the dryer reading to have the technician come behind me, raise up my shirt and start rubbing me down.
