I can't believe I am just now discovering this local GEM! I went for a class, where we made dogwood stars. The classroom was clean, warm, and supported the class very well. The shop is a dream. It's all the best local spots you'd find at Pike Place or a farmers market, all laid out in a grocery store/shop style. It is gorgeous, easy to navigate, and fairly priced. I was so excited about all the fabulous local brands and how accessible they are to me now that I know this shop exists. Kombucha, sea salt, puzzles, treats, local produce, amazing cheeses, and more! I went on a pretty stormy day so did not explore the grounds, but love how community oriented this whole space is. I can't wait to go back and explore the farms. I love coming here! It feels like a hidden treasure trove; a secret just for me! The grounds are spectacular, I could get lost just roaming around. I love everything about this place and space. From being able to purchase well made and cared for farm goods, local produce and ingredients, along with everything else in between. It feels like such a special place that's handled with love and care. Such a fun way to spoil yourself and loved ones with their fresh baked goods, sandwiches, and premade items. 21 Acres is a super unique facility that fosters an understanding for sustainable food/living practices and how they can also promote a healthy, conscious lifestyle. I've been going every other month the past couple years for the prominant market front and it's just pretty damn cool. And these types of places aren't commonplace for miles around, hell even the greater Puget Sound; so if you do come across one, just do yourself a favor and go explore it. First off, the grounds. Thoughtfully designed with various traffic/walking materials such as pavers and various earthen materials. Great to explore solo or with friends, family and youth. The front building itself is a neat & modest building with probably all the neat green code certifications. Inside & outside you'll find subtle muted Earthen colors like brown, green, etc; even the ceiling is pretty clean and smooth. 2nd, the building interior. Wonderfully stocked market with dozens of natural & organic produce staples like squash, grains, legumes, etc; many you don't even find at natural spots like PCC and Whole Foods. Isn't it cool discovering more natural & organic products you haven't seen before - especially regional or local?! Even some artisanal goods are in the mix. Damn it puts a smile on my face. If you like healthy wholesome food for any dietary preference, you'll probably find it here. They even have rotating vegan options in the mini deli area. The staff always feel warm & friendly, they have occasional events that expand outdoors and it's tucked just outside the edge of town. If parking lot is full, walking isn't too bad from nearby Village Square or City Center. Even if you're not a green hipster or tree hugger or whatever, I think you'll find something neat here. read more

I came here with my mom yesterday and had a nice experience. It's a super cute market in a really nice area. It's spacious and the staff are friendly. If I lived here, I would come here all the time. They have all sorts of awesome items that are all local (e.g., honey, milk, eggs, cream cheese, bakery items, teas, vegetables, cards, applesauce, jams etc). All in all, very nice location, great local selection, friendly staff, and fair prices. I wish I lived here so that I could come all the time! read more

This place is one of a kind, especially so close to the hustle and bustle of Woodinville. The ladies at the market were extremely friendly and welcoming. We brought two toddlers with us and they were patient with them and even interacted with them. Val gave us an overview on the farm and the property. It was so sweet of her to take the time to talk about their mission & passion. We decided to pick up a few things from the deli and eat on a picnic table on their property. Wow how beautiful! Very spacious & clean! We had a memorable time and will make sure to recommend this place to our friends & family. We will definitely be back! I have fallen in love with this little Farmer's Market. I gather there is more here but I've only been in the shop, and only since Covid lockdowns started. It's small, but very clean, and has a nice selection of local honey, bulk beans and flours, jams, pickles, meats, dairy and of course, seasonal veggies. Every time I come I find something delicious to cook with - on my recent visit it was spicy pumpkin honey from Oregon (trust me! it's amazing!), gorgeous golden beets, local sausage, and dried apples (which I have been hunting for everywhere with no luck). I was tempted by the beautiful little quail eggs in the dairy case. The staff are nice and I love that there's always plenty of parking and not too many people, so you can go in, browse and shop relatively quickly, and off you go. A local gem. read more

This is a terrific market, subtly located in downtown Woodinville. The building itself is fabulous, but it's the food items and the staff that make it wonderful. The weekends usually see a lot of food coming and going. The staff are chatty but also allow you to browse peacefully through the store. The food items are a variety of produce and other items from local vendors. Recently they had some rye bread samples with a local mustard producers variety of mustards to dip into, it was so delicious. I love the freshness of everything at very reasonable prices. I must stop by soon and sit down for a bite to eat (their quiche look delicious!). Keep up the great work in the community. read more

This place has the only newsletter that I carefully scour every week. I love knowing in advance what kinds of amazing produce and yummy deli items will be on offer. They stock a fabulous variety of local and PNW goods, as well as carrying cheese and other perishables from smaller farms that even PCC doesn't carry. Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. I love taking visitors to WA here so they can see how lucky we are! I haven't been on the farm itself but I plan to one of these days. read more

Went to 21 Acres to tag along while they were doing a tour for some folks from India. Really nice people! And I love what they're doing here. I've always had an interest in green buildings - thermal cooling, catching rainwater, bioswales, solar panels etc etc (Sorry for geeking out here), so the fact that they are LEED Platinum certified is impressive. I love that they have display posters around to show you what it is and what it does. Plus the staff is really knowledgable and ready to explain so many features. Just being able to visit and go on a tour is great. I'm always interested in local projects that go far beyond just being green. I've seen a lot about The Bullitt Center in Seattle but haven't been there. So, anyway, 21 Acres - A certified organic farm with an impressive facility - wins my vote! read more

The 21 Acres Center for Local Food & Sustainable Living is a leader in sustainable and regenerative practices, serving as a living laboratory center for conscious consumers who want to learn new, more sustainable ways of living. I'm so impressed with their community outreach efforts. It doesn't end there - they even care about treatment of their waste. Read up on bioswale! When you enter their store, you'll see a room full of organic produce. On the left is a small deli offering items like three bean salad, waldorf salad, grain salad with pumpkinseed vinaigrette, honey glazed carrots and parnsips and soups and sandwiches. Towards the back of the room is a variety of packages of dried lentils, beans, biscuit, cereals, porridges. There's a really interesting variety. Check out their sage biscuit mix or their gluten free cornbread mix. Or look through their variety of produce like Romanesco - a cousin of cauliflower, 4 varieties of kale. There's even a wide variety of flours like yellow cornmeal, blue corn flour, gluten free flour blend, lentil flour, garbanzo bean flour, organic pasta flour. In their refrigerated section, don't miss their great selection of cheese, seasonal pickles, sauerkraut, Napa kimchi, yogurt, butter, juices, syrups and eggs. For your protein, they offer organic chicken, uncured bacon, ground pork, lamb and beef, fruit, even spring rolls. Will definitely be back for one of their tours. Gorgeous farm, educational center and sustainability model that I hope exceeds all their goals in the region / community. Awesome goats too! Loved the little market for locally made produce and homemade goodies (cherry peach leather, mmm!). Definitely a highlight of our honeymoon road trip! Only note: zero secured bike parking worried us a lot, especially for such an eco place with employees who ride in! The one they had was about 5 lbs and we could pick it up with one hand - not good, we had to find a sign pole :( read more

I just wanted to say thank you to the chef who made the lunch items I had today. I came in and got the potato salad, beet salad, and panzanella with the red onion and golden beet in it, and also a cup of the kale and sausage soup. I scarfed it down in the car. It was all so delicious, I am looking forward to coming in again. I also bought 4 dozen eggs, half from Sasquatch Mesa, and half from Sky Valley Farms, the organic ones. and some loose kale in the brown bag. Leisel (sp?) who was working today showed such kindness and care to my questions, getting my 3 year old set up to color at the table, and asked about my baby son too. She has a warm spirit. More customer service people can get a few tips from her! I look forward to shopping 21 acres again as more season items are brought in. read more

I really love this place. Went here for the first time just to figure out what it's all about. There's a little market where they sell produce grown on site and from nearby farms. Apparently, our government in its infinite wisdom has some stupid restrictions about the size that the market can be since the land is zoned for agriculture so don't expect a big store. There's also going to be some sticker shock. This is all fresh and grown in smaller batches using organic, environmentally-friendly harvesting methods so, yeah, it costs more. The reason the crap at the big super markets is cheaper because they do things to the food that make getting it into your hands cheaper, but not necessarily better or better for you. The selection is going to be seasonal as well so don't go expecting strawberries in December. What you will get is a very friendly and knowledgeable group of people who will help you pick out some fresh produce and dairy. They also have a partnership with a local livestock farm where you can order meat online and pick it up here while you grab some fresh produce. I picked up some applesauce (no sugar, just Honeycrisps), honey from their bees, pickled beets, and fresh eggnog. Glutards, pay special attention, because this place has all sorts of flours and oils that are friendly to your kind. Probably wouldn't hurt me to try them either. Upstairs, there's a kitchen where they teach courses (for a fee) on how to use all of their delicious ingredients. I'll update this review after I take a course. read more

We ate a wonderfully egg salad sandwich and shared some soup and salads. Everything we ate was fresh, local and tasted amazing. Stopped in today and got some red potatoes, farm fresh (brown) eggs, buttermilk, and apple chips. Pickings where a little slim on veg and fruit sense we are just coming out of winter but more soon to come! Will definitely be coming by every weekend for their great food this summer and fall! read more
