There were only 2 waitresses so service was somewhat slow but due to understaffing, the negative review is not related to the service. Negative review is due to the food. I ordered the burnt ends and the 1st order had 6 burnt ends and 4 of them were just fat. I mentioned this to the waitress and she was very nice and said she would get me another order of burnt ends. The 2nd order was a little better but still below expectations, abut a dozen burnt ends with about half of them all fat. We won't be returning anytime soon. read more

I was staying the night at an AirBnB in Sioux Falls on the way to Wisconsin, was looking for a place to grab dinner, and found 212 Boiling Point was nearby. Always a sucker for Philly Cheese Steak, and I swoon for tater tots. Turns out 212 BP had both on the menu, so I was in. I was not disappointed. I was initially confused when the bartender brought out silverware for me with my drink. Who needs silverware with a sandwich? Who, you ask? Anyone ordering the Philly at 212 BP - it was HUGE! With meat, veggies, and cheese spilling over the sides, the roll was overwhelmed. I was mildly disappointed with the volume of tots on the side until I discovered there was an equal number of tots UNDERNEATH THE PHILLY! Both the Philly and the tots were fabulous, and my fountain drink had the perfect mix blend and the lines were very clearly clean. The service was also top notch. If I lived in the area I would be a regular at this well-appointed sports bar with great food for NFL games every Sunday. read more

We had an excellent time here! We stopped in after a day at the Palisades Park based on other reviews. My husband got the steak sand which on special. Tender meat, special sauce that had a great after taste. Big portions too! It filled him up. I got the meaty supreme pizza- a must have if you like pizzas! Thin crust pizza pilled high with everything a pizza can have but the nasties (i.e. Pineapple, sardines, etc.) I couldn't finish it all at one setting. It made great leftovers! If you love leftover pizza get a big one! The drink specials were pretty good too for a Saturday afternoon. Great beer and liquor selections. They have great seating arraignments; with booths, tables, and bar seating. Lots of TV's for whatever's sporting event you desire. Friendly, laid back environment with great staffing. Our waiter was the bar tender- he had great recommendations and was pretty cool. Didn't harass us and always made sure we had a cold beverage. We'll be back! read more

This place is all about the essentials ... great service, great people and a great time! Another place where I get that "Cheers" feeling. Just show up ... sit back ... and enjoy! There's plenty of entertainment (20+ TVs, video lottery, Golden T, Buck Hunter, Jukebox, pool table and lots of bar rail footage). They appear to be understaffed as our waitress was nice, but buried and this created bad service. Decent place with a big bar, pool table, and a variety of seating options. We were traveling through on a Saturday night, and although they were busy, we were able to seat ourselves right away (though I had to ask - I think ALL places should either have a greeter or a sign stating to seat yourself). Nice that they have free popcorn, though like almost everything else we tried, it was a bit overdone. They also have a better beer selection - they at least had one IPA - than I expected for SD (sorry SD). Food was just ok, but prices were pretty good with burgers/sandwiches at just under $10. I just wish "medium-well" wasn't the only option as mine was definitely way too done - dark and hard outer crust. Wife's Buffalo Chicken sandwich was on a bun/roll that was way too big, was very plain, and was also overdone. We both got tater tots, which were fine. read more

Went here for a quick lunch & because they had advertised "a large gluten free selection". Asked the server about gluten free & she said they had a pizza...nothing else. Ordered nachos & when they came, the server tipped the plate & the hot nacho cheese spilled all over me. Burned my hand & just very uncomfortable with sticky cheese on my shirt & jeans. Server did say sorry, but that was it. Didn't refill the cheese, didn't comp the meal, not even a discount. Will return again only if I want to wear my lunch instead of eating it. read more

I made a Yelp account just to review this... Service was bad for a week night (Thursday) and I will admit they were a little busy. However, waiting for my food for 40 minutes, I wished I would have been at McDonalds. I knew locals who were there and two of them left. As they left their waitress hurried over and told them there was a "glitch" with the computers. It's understandable if that happens, but none of the customers were notified until they attempted to leave. I have worked at restaurants before and know how they operate. 212 operates very poorly and it's embarrassing. I was sitting at the bar and had a clear view of the galley. There was food just sitting in the window and not being taken out. They had 2 expos who appeared to stare at the food and seemed to wait until a server came to take out the food. I would think it would be more beneficial for them to clean off tables that customers wanted to sit at. Lastly, being a busser is not difficult especially in this restaurant where the seating is not overwhelming at all. There was no greeter either. It's not essential to have a greeter but it's welcoming. 212 did not feel welcoming and they didn't even have a sign notifying customers to wait or to seat themselves. It's hard to seat yourself with many dirty tables around too. The servers seem very unprofessional and lack a uniform. It's a sports bar, of course, but they should have a better dress code. They also Pros: I have a Yelp account Nice bar to sit at Comfy chairs Awesome bartender (I think it's name is Corey. Probably the only good employee there.) Cons: Staff is unfriendly/annoyed with customers Tables are consistently dirty Food is average, but not the best in town. No greeters Dirty tables are highly common and ever since they have opened nothing has changed. There's not enough staff. Let alone friendly staff. Oh and they have free popcorn for you with the side of salt. That's probably there to make up for all the negative things. Sadly it's not enough and doesn't even start to cover what's wrong with this restaurant. I would rate this 0 stars but I have to give it at least 1. REDICULOUS. Arrived at noon on a Saturday. There was maybe 30 people already there. Took them just over an hour to get SOME of our food. Of our party of 11, four people didn't get their food then. It took another 15 minutes. One of our party had a burger and appetizer that took 1 hour and 35 minutes because they "forgot". STILL, we had orders that still were incorrect. Do not go here. Expect delays. AND the food was cold. I never post reviews, but today I had plenty of time to do so while friends were waiting for their food. HORRIBLE! !! read more

Didn't even realize this gem was here. It is a very nice bar. Lots of tvs and plenty of seating. Wait staff was quick and friendly. They have a big burger selection wieh plenty of other food if you're not in the mood for burgers. I would definitely eat here again or just swing in for a relaxing drink with friends. read more

Nice place! It was busy, but we didn't have to wait long for seats at the bar. The jalapeno munchers came fast and were perfect. I had the French dip, which is topped with melted cheese. I would definitely recommend! It is a great place to hang out and talk with friends. The food is good, good wings, borderline amazing burgers. Definitely worth the price; if you do go try the kettle chips, I normally am not a huge fan of chips but these kettle chips, made in house, are the perfect addition to an already amazing meal. We eat at 212 way too often. I love this place! With the family lunch, supper or just wings and Guinness. Sweet heat wings are my favorite with the bourbon as a close second. Their pizza is the best in Brandon. The only reason for the four stars is because at random times the service is pretty slow... Just sit at the bar. The bartenders are good. read more

The first time I ate here it was good. The grilled chicken sandwich was fresh and light. The next time I went back they offered a steak sandwich special. It was terrible. My daughter and I both got ours to go to give to my cousin's dog. It was processed meat, not steak. The service was good both times, but I'm hesitant to go back again. read more
