I missed our HOG ride here so we rode there today around noon on a Thursday. Met the owners. Great people - chef is a two or three time award winner. I have to many good things to say about my experience here. I had an amazing time and meal there. We were the only ones, the owners, server, and chefs were all so sweet, accommodating, it was a homey feeling. The food... omg that burger I'm not even a huge burger fan but it was perfectly cooked, not greasy, flavorful but not to overpowering on any of the parts, the melty cheese, the crispy soft bun, the fried cream cheese triangles were crispy and flavorful on the outside, so creamy and yummy on the inside, all of it together was a little sweet, savory, PERFECT, the bacon on it was a little spicy and smoky, there was a creamy spicy sauce. The whole thing was perfectly balanced in every way, so yummy, I already miss eating it. The fries shocked me, I don't like sweet potato or waffle fries but there were savory, sweet, perfectly crispy. The onion rings we got for the table were pretty good for someone who doesn't like them, the ranch was not amazing or bad or mid, just pretty good. The straight fries were basic but not bad either. The boneless wings someone at my table got were basic, not bad but they are just boneless wings and I'm not big on teriyaki. They had free arcade games and local artists pieces to buy (I got a painting). Everything about the place was amazing, so homey, chill, amazing food, if you are traveling through this a must stop spot. I really enjoyed Chuds! I let the chef choose what to make me, and I got a cordon bleu with coleslaw. My husband got their special, which was a chicken waffle sandwich that had a berry jam on it and sweet potatoes on the side. Everything was really good! I would definitely come back. The vibe is fun. The food and the service were great. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted good. Service was excellent. It was our first time here and we will be back very soon. You should too. We had the boneless wings with the Asian Sesame, the Philly Cheesesteak, and the Pulled pork with Smoked Gouda flatbread. Oh, and the sidewinder fries which were plentiful. The flat bread had a pleasurable taste and crispness to it. The boneless wings were tender and delightful with the Asian Sesame sauce. This place is incredible! Amazing burgers! We drove over from Sioux Falls today to check it out and were pleasantly surprised. It's hard to find a place to eat out where everyone in the family is happy. This place nailed it. Even after eating and stuffed to the max, my kids asked when we were going to come back! I had followed this restaurant on Facebook for a while now and thought the food looked good. Last night we decided to check it out for ourselves. It was Saturday night at around 6:00 and we walked into the place and it was packed with patrons of all ages. We waited a few minutes and managed to snag a booth on our own. For a small town they had a nice selection of beers on tap, including a number of craft beers. The menu had plenty of burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and flatbreads to choose from. It would have been nice to have better descriptions of each sandwich. We ordered and the wait time was pretty normal. The place was clean, slightly noisy and a singer could be heard through the buzz of conversation. The food arrived hot and fresh. My wife and I each ordered one of the sandwiches and they were both impressive to look at and honestly, mine was called the Crabby Chicken and is one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time! My wife's sandwich was equally tasty and a bit messy. The friends we were with, both ordered the special which was a burger that was served like a hot beef sandwich, with mashed potatoes and gravy over the entire concoction. I think they enjoyed it, although maybe not as much as my wife and I enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back! read more

Really confused by all the 5 star ratings. Maybe we just had a bad experience... Visited on a Saturday afternoon, seated ourselves and waited and waited and waited before a server brought us water. Had time to take in the surroundings which were not super appealing (I.e. very bar like). Ordered a burger (best thing we tried), chicken strips (massive portion but very overcooked), and a pulled pork sandwich (taste was ok but served on a hard roll so with every bite, all the contents squirted out the side. Very strange choice). I really, really wanted to be more positive here but can't unfortunately. Will not be returning. read more

This was our first time visiting Chuds, so we really did not know what to expect. We arrived early and it was not very crowded. The waitress came by and was very friendly without being overbearing. She was able to answer our questions. I had to ask what a Slawsome Chud Burger was. My wife ordered a bacon chicken flatbread. There are no sides that come with the sandwiches, a la carte. I asked the Kellie, the waitress if I needed a side. She told me with what was on the burger, probably not. I really appreciated that. I did see some of the sides offered that other customers ordered. They were generous in their serving size. When our meals arrived, I was glad I skipped the side. That burger had to be 4" tall and maybe 5". This was a first for me. I ate the burger with a knife and fork! My burger was very good--not overdone or undercooked. My wife enjoyed her flatbread. I thanked our waitress for suggesting just the sandwich. I would have been more full than I would have been comfortable being. The food, service and atmosphere are all very nice.
