I'm so sorry to hear this is closing this month. If you have a chance, please pay your respects before they close in October.

Loved it here!! One of the best places to spend a Sunday afternoon :) Extremely spacious with large tables, good drinks, and pretty decent food from the food truck outside. Everyone is extremely friendly as well! Food wise - tater tots really hit the spot.

A great place to grab a bite and drink! They have a lot of seating available, both indoors and outdoors. Their menu is small but they do have daily specials. I tried their chicken pesto flatbread which was so flavorful and filling! The service was great. They helped me pick a beer that I would enjoy.

How many cans of beer on the wall?

Our virgin trip here, thanks to Yelpers for the suggestion. It's a huge warehouse where brew is made onsight. We had the fish (beer battered w/brew made here) and chips as well as a cheeseburger w/garlic fries. I had the porter brew (Niantic) and hubby had a soda. Due to the breezy conditions, we ate swifty, could of used a down jacket or sweater. We'll be back when it's sunnier and dine outside on the patio. Service: on point and quick. Couldn't decide on which beer so I was offered a tasting of two beers, hmmmm, they were both tasty. Both women behind the counter were friendly and helpful. Food is cooked in the trailer. Bonus: more than ample off street parking.

Good brewery for IPA lovers. I personally don't enjoy hoppy beers, but 21st Amendment is an IPA-lovers dream, with the majority of their brews being IPAs. Met a friend here on a Sunday afternoon and they had live music and a record-swap event in addition to the beers and food truck. The food we ordered were all pub-favorites: fried cheese curds, loaded tater tots and a pulled pork sandwich with fries. It's been a minute since I've eaten so many fried foods with beer, and I definitely felt it later! The beers were ok (if not my preference). I did enjoy their seasonal pumpkin beer and porter, and would definitely order those again.

    Hell or High Watermelon Beer

I saw on the news that both Bay Area 21st amendment brewery locations were set to close on 11/4/2025 which was sad to hear. I used to come here often but I've been coming less and less over the past few years. A lot of new breweries have been popping up all over the Bay Area that I have wanted to try while 21st amendment has remained mostly unchanged for me. My favorite drink was always their hell or high watermelon beer. On its own, the beer tasted fine. I never expected having a wedge of watermelon in the beer to create such a crisp and refreshing taste. The watermelon soaked in beer was a nice sweet treat at the end as well. I was never a fan of fruity alcohol drinks but this was the only one I ever liked and was a perfect drink on a hot summer day. I always liked how spacious this place was and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The atmosphere was really laid back and was a great place to meet up with friends. The staff here were very nice and knowledgeable about their beers. The stacked cans in the back were impressive to look at. The one thing I never had to worry about was the parking and there was plenty of free parking all around. I was never a fan of watching a game here since I thought their TVs were small. I remember when they had a big projector screen showing the game but it was so hard seeing over the glare. The other thing I didn't like was their porta potties outside. Thankfully, they were somewhat clean when I needed to use them. I just wish they had some real restrooms with all the space they had inside. These were things that were passable and I was hoping that they could have improved on. I'm saddened that this place will be closing in a couple of weeks. All the best to the owners. Thanks for the good times and introducing me to watermelon beer.

So sad this place is closing. Many memories made here. Stop by for the Tall Hat Fruit Punch IPA before they're gone! You won't be disappointed.

First time visiting their main brewery! I visited another branch in SF, and during that time they didn't have their signature Hell or High Watermelon beer. So this time I finally got to try it! Here's a breakdown of my delightful experience: Hell or High Watermelon Wheat: This American wheat beer, infused with real watermelon, surprised me with its crisp, dry, and refreshing flavor. Perfect for warm days! Brew Free! or Die Blood Orange IPA: A twist on their classic IPA, this version features abundant blood orange puree and citrusy hops. Refreshingly different! Peanut Butter Porter: With its rich coffee fragrance and smooth peanut butter notes, this porter is a true treat for the senses. Brew Free! or Die IPA: The reimagined year-round IPA combines golden malts with dynamic hop aromas. A classic with a twist!

    Cheese curds

I came here before a Giants game, which seems to be the tradition now! We were seated quickly and ordered some of our usual delights, including, for me, the cheese curds and the sishito peppers. The food took a while to get to the table, as it was a busy place at that time. Yet, the benefit was that the food was hot and fresh. The peppers were just out of the cooker, so to speak, and the cheese curds were also the hottest I remember. Very nice. The peppers were a good size, very large compared to what I have found elsewhere. The cheese curds were not so large, and it seems the serving size gets smaller each time we visit, every year or so. Check out my past reviews for comparison photos. Still, they were tasty. The service was spot on, friendly, courteous and professional . . . Overall, still a good meal for the price, ambiance, and food quality. Can't wait 'til the next game day!

    Southwest salad is okay.

We recently heard in the news that this brewery company is closing down. That was the first time we heard of this brewery. It's too bad we only heard about it recently because we went there today and thought the food and beer and location was good. We'll go again before they shutdown. We went on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of parking. The indoor area was spacious and airy (warehouse) but I can see if there's a large crowd, then there's not enough tables. As we were leaving, I noticed there weren't tables available and customers were standing around crowded tables. There were outdoor tables, too, but we didn't eat there. Ordering was easy. They charge a "CA special tax"?? Not sure what that is. You're given a buzzer then later pick up your food at the food truck which seems to be run by another company?? The chicken quesadilla and cauliflower dishes were really good. The fish and chips were only so-so because the fish was a small portion and one piece was overcooked. The southwest salad was okay. The pumpkin haze and blood orange beer were decent. Outside is the food truck and the bathrooms. There are also outdoor tables. Lots of flies were buzzing around the food while we were eating in the indoor warehouse seating area. That was annoying. I guess there isn't a way to keep them out with fans or something?? You get your napkins and utensils yourself. You pick up the food at the food trailer yourself. When you're leaving, you bus your own table. We don't mind this self-service. When you order your food at the counter, you'll be asked for the tip when you pay at the counter, so if it's your first time at this brewery, keep the self-service in mind when you're deciding the tip. We didn't know it was mostly self-service since it was our first time here. It's too bad you don't pay at the end since you can then tip appropriately based on actual service and food. We had leftovers but there weren't any to-go containers in the self-service area. The counter staff also said there weren't any to-go containers. So how do people do take-out?? I understand that maybe this company is not stocking up on some supplies since they're going to shutdown soon, but it seems really odd there wouldn't be a way to take food to-go.

Great selection! Food came out quickly, I highly recommend the burger, it hit the spot! The onion ring stack was awesome and very crispy! The meat was very juicy and tasty, not a fan of the bbq sauce in it. However, the place was really chill and laidback. The people were great, easy going, and made recommendations. Overall a good experience :)

Such a cool place! It's tucked away in a business park and if you didn't know it was there you would never see it. They have a great selection of craft beers and will let you sample any and all until you find your favorite. They have a little food truck that serves small bar food items, nothing special. The employees are super friendly and helpful with helping you select a beer. They have a bathroom trailer set up which is clean but with such a big space, they should have an indoor bathroom. Had a great time though

Huge facility! Lots of indoor seating and outdoor seating. Roughly a dozen brews on draft and cans for on premise consumption or to go. We tried four different beers and they were all tasty. Friendly beer tenders and an on-site food truck dishing up snacks and sandwiches. Big parking lot

Does the place get packed during football games? By that I mean will there be enough parking and tables when a big game is going on? Planning to show up this Saturday to watch the Niners game. Thanks.

I got the cherry sour which was very sour and fruity - a little surprising (in a good way), delicious, and refreshing. I ordered the fish and chips but wanted a vegetable so I also got the melon and tomato salad. I'm a sucker for flan so I also had to try that. The fish and chips were perfect and piping hot and crispy. The salad was unfortunately a little disappointing; neither the melons nor tomatoes tasted very ripe so the whole salad was just a bit lacking in flavor. The flan also had a sliiiightly overcooked texture, but was overall pretty good, with a well-executed caramel sauce. Portions are also very generous!
