Regret Choosing Vincent Surgical Arts for Breast Augmentation - Poor Outcome and Follow-Up Care…read more I want to share my experience with Vincent Surgical Arts in hopes that it helps others make a more informed decision when choosing a plastic surgeon over a cosmetic surgeon for breast augmentation. After my surgery, I was immediately unhappy with how my breasts looked and I expressed this directly to the surgeon. I was told to wear a super supportive or push-up bra from both the surgeon and also his nurse to achieve the look I had asked for. That suggestion felt incredibly dismissive--especially after paying so much money for a procedure meant to enhance my body, not one that would require masking the results with a push-up bra. Around four weeks post-op, I noticed stitches poking through the underside of my breasts, which was both painful and alarming. When I went in, the staff pulled the stitch tight and clipped it at the skin, while the remainder was still internal. This didn't instill much confidence in the quality of the surgical aftercare Unfortunately, things only deteriorated from there. At about eight months post-op, I noticed that my incision had risen up onto the actual breast tissue, and the implant had dropped below the incision line. I called to schedule a follow-up and was told the soonest available appointment was five weeks out--despite them actively scheduling new patient consultations and surgeries during that time. As a patient dealing with visible complications and who had already expressed dissatisfaction multiple times, I felt completely deprioritized . By this point, my left breast had completely bottomed out. At nine months post-op, I had my results evaluated by a different board-certified plastic surgeon, who confirmed that the implants had both what was defined as bottomed out, and that if left uncorrected, they would eventually cause my nipples to be exposed, pointing up, even in something as basic as a bikini top. The implants had also migrated laterally, pushing toward my armpits, creating an unnatural and distorted appearance. Completely flat appearing, and no upper pull boob job look at this time. Ultimately, at 10 months post-op, I had to undergo complete reconstructive surgery with another surgeon to correct the issues. This has been an emotional and financial burden that I never anticipated, and I'm still dealing with the aftermath. In my experience, Vincent Surgical Arts failed to provide adequate post-operative care, dismissed serious concerns, and demonstrated poor responsiveness when complications arose. I was never offered any reimbursement, nor did I feel that patient satisfaction was a priority once the surgery was complete. If you're considering surgery here, I strongly recommend getting multiple consultations and being very cautious--especially regarding aftercare support and revision policies. I wish I had done more research before choosing this clinic.

At the U's clinics when I tried this the provider looked visually annoyed and would give the equivalent of one word responses. Overall this is a clean practice with exceptional staff and if they are in your network I highly recommend going through them for your next dermatology appointment!

I really don't enjoy or feel good about leaving bad reviews, but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a business, and if it helps somebody then I guess it's worth it. I was on my way to the airport to help my sister. whose husband was having emergency surgery to take out his esophagus because of cancer. I had an extra hour and I found myself in the Foothill area, I stopped in to see if they could do a little bit of Botox on my forehead, a small area that needed a touchup. When I was there, she started to ask me if I had done any fillers or surgeries.. I told her I had done Filler one time prior. She asked me about my lips, I told her it looks great on some people, but I didn't feel comfortable or interested in big lips. I felt guilty for only getting a few units of Botox (under $100) it was clear she was putting on the pressure to sell me on something. I asked her about filler for my earlobes, I told her $599 was a lot. I didn't know if it was worth it. She said it would fill my earlobes and I would have extra, so I asked what we could do with the Extra. I didn't know if it was worth spending that much just on my ears. She said let's get going and we'll discuss it. I was surprised to see the doctor come in the room, I was wondering why she didn't have a full-time injector.... And I felt really guilty for only getting a few units of Botox, which is why I agreed to purchase one syringe for my earlobes. She kept stopping to take pictures and I knew she was doing this for her Instagram, which was a little annoying, we did not discuss that, and I was in a rush. I'm sitting in the chair, my eyes are shut, I truly hate needles and wiping away tears. Just trying to get through this because it's painful. She stops and says "do you want to put this under your eyes? it will make you look 10 years younger" - I'm a little taken back, we didn't discuss this, my eyes are perfectly fine , they are not sunken in and again this is not something we discussed, but I thought she was looking for a place to put the extra filler. I said "sure" I just trusted her. So I check out, they put a receipt in an envelope and put it in a gift bag and then she proceeds to randomly select things off the shelf, little samples and throw them in the gift bag. I got in the car and headed for the airport. I looked in the bag to see if there's anything I wanted to take with me, there were all these little items that said "not for resale". I thought, "oh that's nice". I then opened the envelope and she had rung my credit card over $4000! I was in shock. I agreed to one syringe at $599 and approximately 10 units of Botox $100. She told me the one syringe would fill my earlobes, and there would be extra, the whole thing that was unclear was where we were going to put the "extra filler". As you can see, she overfilled my earlobes, using more product than I agreed to, and then she proceeded to inject a new expensive product under my eyes that we did NOT discuss. I could not believe what had just happened. I found the pictures online, some of the pictures are ones She took halfway through the process. (when she should've stopped.) as you can see the photo from the airplane, my earlobes were bursting and looked horrible. Look at the pictures that she posted online, that's when she should've stopped. She never discussed additional Filler, I was very hesitant to even buy one syringe. On top of it, she charged me $72 for the product samples she handed me?! Clearly, she had a plan, she brought in additional product without discussing it, not a name, not a price, side effects I mean, just think about it?! And then she overfilled my earlobes so she could justify charging me for an additional syringe that I didn't know about? And then in her post, she has the audacity to make up some story about me being a PhD researcher who makes jewelry on the side.? This woman is so dishonest. I have pictures of what it did to the area under my eye, which was awful, I will post them. There are plenty of people who are honest, please take the time to find someone you can trust.

The providers care about your health, but at the end of the day the owners only care about your money and will screw you over. There are plenty of better places to go for this kind of care that give the same, if not better, care (and at much more reasonable rates). If you go here make sure you read your contract VERY carefully. With the crazy turnover of staff and questionable business practices I'll be very surprised if this business stays open much longer.
