The food is so fresh and so delicious, I sometimes suspect the chefs have secret portals to flavor heaven. The Shirley Temples? Extra cherries on request, because apparently the universe understands my desperate need for sweetness. Grenadine is... grenadining. Glorious. And the kids' burger. OH, THE KIDS' BURGER. Whether you are 12 or 32--or 92--I guarantee it will change your life. You will look at your past self, weep quietly, and whisper, "I have been living incorrectly." The food arrives at a speed that defies physics, and service is so flawless you'd think the staff had been trained by angels who moonlight as event coordinators for the cosmos. Music plays, Olympic coverage happens, and the booths themselves feel like ancient, wise witnesses to decades of human triumph and tiny spills. Shula's, I miss you, but this place has magic of its own. Special love to Wilburn--the human embodiment of hospitality--who treats every patron like they're royalty, family, and part of a sacred prophecy all at once. This restaurant is not just a restaurant. It is a temple of joy, burgers, and perfectly grenadined Shirley Temples. If it floats your boat, dives it, sails it, or even just drifts along the current of your curiosity... try it. You might never return to normal dining again.

They have the best millennial playlist that runs from LINKIN PARK to Eminem. The food was good, we each had a burger and no complaints there. I had an espresso martini, and it was absolutely delicious. So shout out to the bartender. Our waiter was also very friendly. We received service pretty quickly, but it was not packed for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.

I visited miami 30 days ago. I stayed the for a whole month and got the chance to visit Mayors Cafe…read more3 times during my stay. I used to live down the street and would come here at least once a week , other days I would only stop by on my way to work for my favorite Cafe con Leche. There's something about your cafe con leche that makes me fall in love with it every single time. I moved to California where I'm originally from but everytime I have a chance to get on a flight my destination is Miami, this last time I came my sister which she also loved the cafe con leche... now we both GOT To make it to mayors cafe everytime we go Miami. I mean all the food is great, good portions and flavor , service is good, we get everything we need on time every time and the restaurant is small but cute and clean, I love the quotes they write on the small white board too.... I will be back very soon! Thank you!

Come with me to Mayor's Cafe located in Miami Lakes. They offer a selection of breakfast and lunch…read moreoptions. This was my first visit, and we tried a few of their dishes, and they were all decent. To start, I had their Cappuccino, which was delicious and straightforward. I had the Mayor's Skillet Breakfast. It was decent, but it felt like it was missing a sauce or aioli. The skillet was very dry and lacked seasoning. I also tried their French Toast, which was perfectly cooked and fluffy. My sister had the 2-2-2, a classic eggs, bacon, and pancake breakfast, and my brother had The Cid, one of their sandwich. He said it was good, but lacked seasoning. Overall, Mayor's Cafe was decent. The food was okay, but it lacked seasoning in my opinion. If I visit again, I will try different dishes to see if that can change my opinion.
