I'm so glad I found this spot while in Montgomery for work. Even though I'm not a cigar smoker, I would come back for their incredible smoked Old Fashioneds. They are expertly crafted, full of flavor, and easily some of the best I've had in the area. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special. They don't have a ton of variety if you're searching for boutiques. They carry mainly Davidoff Brands, Arturo Fuente, and general cigars. The prices are fair for a cigar bar. We really loved this cool gem, recommended by some new friends last night. The cigars were reasonably priced and the their liquor selection was top notch. Lots of choices for good bourbon that is hard to find in Alabama. I asked the bartender for a recommendation and he made a unique drink with house made blackberry syrup and it was delicious. The Expresso martini was unique as well. The place was very large but felt intimate. I really liked the individual seating areas. Hands-down, this is one of the best places to have an old-fashioned. Don't go in here and try to order a scotch and soda or a vodka tonic. If you're that lame go somewhere else this is a very cool old school southern club.. The staff is friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. What a great spot! Stopped in for a stogie and cocktail after a long day. Small walk in humidor near the entrance with a good variety of premium cigars. Prices were slightly higher than expected but well kept. Bar located on the left center with a huge selection of spirits. My pairing of the day was Placencia Alma Fuerte and the house Old Fashion. Excellente! The bartender is awesome. Provided plenty of recommendations and well versed in libations. Had a great time here. read more

I have been to 23 Court 15+ times. Each time I've been impressed with the display, display, quality of good cigars (I'm fond of Liga Privada) and reasonable (cheap compared to Cali, NY and other nanny states) prices. Great interior especially the upstairs. I don't drink but the bartenders are fun, humorous quick witted and good natured. Is there a negative? Yes they aren't open until 4. If you like luxurious chair, good booze and good cigars with nice people then you are good here! read more

Very nice establishment. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that this place means business. The cigar selection is for serious cigars heads. If you're looking for the average cigar, this isn't your place. You deserve to treat yourself to a great stick and a good beverage. The ventilation is just right. The decor is beautiful and the music is just right. They didn't have TV's and I'm quite alright with that aspect. It makes you more social if you'd like. I had nice cigar that I paired with the smoked Manhattan... even without the nice upscale setting I had an amazing time the drink was perfect! There was a dress code, although lenient I would recommend showing up in business casual or better. You'll match the upscale environment and vibe. Bar tender was overwhelmed ( on a Wednesday night ) and never acknowledged my existence. My wife and I were concerned that we may have been underdressed after reading the dress code....
