Saw reviews that 24 Hour Budget Key offered key-fobs, which I've honestly never run into with auto lock smiths that make house calls. Now my key fob on my aging vehicle was the only access to my car doors and it went out, and I've never had a physical key to the doors. Unfortunately, he didn't have a key fob for my vehicle in his inventory, yet he could order one. But, he did come out and and was able to cut a key to my door without having one to duplicate, and was done in less than 30 minutes. I was honestly expecting a quote for hundreds of dollars to cut a key without having the original or to get a key-fob and program it for my vehicle. Yet, his quote for a key-fob or a new key was comparable to simply having a locksmith come out and pop open my doors. Definitely affordable and thoroughly impressed. Called multiple 24 hour locksmith services tonight and this company is the only one that came and helped me. Everybody else advertised 24 hour emergency service but said they couldn't be here until 10:00 am. The owner and I'm assuming his wife or girlfriend drove from Overland Park Kansas around 11:30pm, to where I was in Platte city to make a specialized key replacement for me. That's an hour drive. They were both super nice, professional, and amazing at what they do! The price was actually cheaper than I was expecting to pay. Still a costly mistake on my end, but they made it a lot less stressful. I highly recommend them, and if I have to use a locksmith again (I sure hope not), they'll be my first call.Thanks again y'all! read more

I first contacted this company by Yelp messager about getting a second fob programed for my car. The message was quickly answered by the owner who ask me questions about what services I needed. However, the owner stopped short of actually providing me with a quote. Um ok... I called the next day. I needed the ignition cylinder replaced in my Cadillac due to an attempted theft. Checked yelp for reviews and asked for quotes from 7 different companies. MIKE was not only the first to respond but also the most economical by a very wide margin. Made an appointment for the following day. He showed up right on time, hopped out of his van and got right to work. He pulled the old cylinder, rekeyed the new cylinder to fit the factory key and had it installed and reassembled in about twenty minutes. Would have taken me half a day to do the same thing.
