I was able to put a deposit down the day before, and everything was smooth and straightforward. They provided very detailed aftercare instructions and even shared some helpful information I didn't know about numbing options and the healing process. I followed the instructions exactly, and the tattoo healed quickly. I also want to give a special shoutout to Adam. I had been planning on getting a tattoo in Maui for my first time there. I didn't know when or…read morewhere. I did some research days before and finally made it happen to walk in and make an appointment. Picture it: Saturday of Spring break, the last day of our vacation, Lahaina, and I walked in right when they opened. They made a push to get us in for the absolute last spot to get both my boyfriend and I tattooed. Not to mention it would be his first and my 15th. I had an exact reference from Eric's Instagram, and my bf had a few from the internet. We walked in right on time and Dani was just finishing up my bfs design while I signed the paperwork. I cannot express how grateful I was to have her taking care of him. He's very analytical and dissects everything because of how his brain works. She was so unbelievably patient and worded everything so he understood what he was getting. Eric had my design pretty much done because he had done it before. Dani sat my man down and got to work. I was very relaxed knowing she was able to keep him busy and make easy conversation with him. The first tattoo experience can change if someone ever gets another, so she knocked it out of the park. Eric got to mine after a quick dinner and double-checking my placement. Inner upper arm was probably the hardest place to get a tattoo considering I was sunburned on the entire front of my body... wear your damn sunscreen!!! Anyways, Eric was super artistic in how he was tattooing me even so that Amanda, the super adorable receptionist was complimenting it. He made great conversation with me and made sure to check in on how I was feeling and doing, plus letting me get up to stretch with my body cramping up from laying down for so long. It has the be the best tattoo experience I've ever had, and I have now 15! I don't believe anyone could've gotten close to the realism he achieved with my tattoo. It's my favorite and most timeless piece that I will treasure and show off forever. Their rates were reasonable and nothing outrageous (and that's coming from a Californian). Eric, Dani, and Amanda are incredible people who are doing what they love where they love. I will be going back for another tattoo next time we go to Hawaii, even if it means island hopping.
