I drove to the place, pulled up and they immediately worked on my car. I had to bring my own oil and filter which was inexpensive. They were very quick with it. I was able to get the tire inflated thanks to the valet crew so I could get home but desperate to get the tire fixed before I had to shuttle my client around all day and evening. I found Montrose Mobile Tire here and was so impressed by the number of 5-star reviews. Made an easy online appointment for early the next morning and Oscar showed up on time and had my tire permanently patched in 15 minutes. He was so professional and helpful and I was on my way on time to pick up my client. There was a second part to the story, however. The tire started going flat within a couple of days. Normally this would lead to a negative review but I reached out to Oscar and explained the situation. I was able to get an immediate appointment and he discovered that he had had 1-2 other incidents where the patch had still resulted in a leak on this particular tire and it also could have been a faulty patch. Either way, he triple checked my tire for any other causes for the leak and installed a new patch and tested it, leveled the air pressure in all my other tires and said to call him if there are any other issues with it. While it took two trips, I appreciated the quick response, the dedication to making things right and his willingness to address any issue if one occurred again with the tire.

When I arrived, the store was already quite busy. I'm not sure how many appointments they schedule per 15-minute window, but there were a lot of customers ahead of me, so the initial wait was longer than expected. That said, several staff members acknowledged the delay, apologized, and assured me I'd be checked in as soon as possible--which I appreciated. After checking in, I decided to drop off my car and run an errand rather than wait, especially since the check-in took longer than anticipated. Interestingly, the actual tire service was completed faster than my wait time, which was a nice surprise. They handled everything as requested: the damaged tire in my trunk was disposed of, and the good tire that was replaced was bagged and placed in my trunk along with my spare. When I returned, the team member who walked me to my car was friendly and mentioned that this is the busiest location in Houston--and that what I experienced was actually considered a slower period--which I found impressive given how busy it already seemed. Overall, they manage the workload well. My only suggestion would be to prioritize scheduled appointments over walk-ins when possible. Otherwise, a solid experience.

They did a great job, and provided quality tires and professional service. At the time of the tire install, they informed me about needing new a lower control arm ball joint. I was already scheduled to take the truck to the dealership on Monday for an oil change, but instead of adding it to the list for the dealership, I entrusted the 610 team to do the job! Fast forward to Monday, oil change went well but the dealership informed me I needed a new ball joint?!?! You can imagine my surprise. I reached out to 610 but initially I told the dealership to proceed. Thankfully, they needed a specific wheel lock in order to remove the tires. That delay allowed me more time for processing all the details. I took an uber to 610 to retrieve the specific wheel lock. They gladly gave me several locks (they weren't quite sure which one was needed). That, to me, is another example of how they're willing to go over and beyond the call of duty. They even gifted me with a wheel lock once the correct lock was identified. The more I examined the imagines sent by the dealership, the more I noticed the pics only showed excessive lube around the joints. Thankfully, bringing the key to them, delayed the process of them conducting the work and allowed me the opportunity to witness for myself the tires being secure and having NO play/free movement. Needless to say, the dealerships assessment was incorrect. The mechanic was very apologetic in his error. New ball joint replacement was NOT needed. All an all, Im extremely pleased with 610's professionalism and attention to details. 610 will forever be my first stop for any of my tire needs. Support local businesses!
