It was like being in our own home. There was a fish tank, bookshelves, etc. My husband thought it was a bit over the top, but I can see how dogs would find it much more comforting than a cat would. Molly was peaceful and calm. She was allowed to be in her carrier after the initial catheter procedure. She didn't like the catheter in her leg, but otherwise it was much better than lying on a hard metal table. We opted to let her gently fall asleep and then left the room for her final moment.

While there was only one situation where we saw Dr Lynch where we were trying to assess a vomiting issue ($500 all day stay, with tests and no resolution) and later Dr Clark prescribed simple regular Pepcid dosing that seemed to nearly completely solve the issue, our experience has been overall great. I have seen other reviews that speak about how practical they are - not looking to push for expensive treatments when there's a simpler answer (Dr Clark seems very adept at the simple solution, once with a knee issue that we solved with anti-inflamatory meds and glucosamine, and later with the vomiting situation) and I totally agree with those reviews. Ultimately it was Dr Werner who helped us put our beloved girl down and they handled it so well. We got an appointment same day, late in the day when there were no other visits. Dr Werner did a final exam to assure us this was the right time (and also noted to us how hard it was in that she was behaving like a puppy while she was a mess otherwise). We were devastated and they were so compassionate even with after care (complimentary paw print, ashes returned promptly, follow-up sympathy card with grief recourses etc.).
