Great new breakfast spot in North Conway! Warm and welcoming interior with a super friendly staff. I had a yummy and reasonably priced breakfast sandwich with tater tots (who can say no to tots?). Husband had the Florentine gangsta wrap and commented on how breakfast wraps are often dry and flavorless but this one was cooked perfectly and delicious. Also, I've never had such bold and delicious decaf coffee at a breakfast joint! These guys definitely prioritize quality. We will definitely be back! read more

Prepared and served in a skillet, the English muffins were softer than usual. The eggs were tipped with hollandaise sauce, lobster, and asparagus, making for a delightful combination of flavors. I chose tots for a side, a choice for nostalgia that turned out to be a choice for flavor as well. Went for brunch. I got eggs Benedict with side of fruits. Eggs were almost well done instead of runny. My dad had breakfast sandwich with English muffin. His and my English muffins were not fresh, just hard and chewy. Mom got pancakes. They were ok. Had to pay extra $2.50 for little sauce cup for real maple syrup. The frozen fruits came in the same size cup and were frozen strawberries and blueberries, not fresh fruits. some strawberries were even brown and going bad. read more

Love this spot! Came here on our weekend getaway to North Conway and couldn't wait to go back ... so much so we came here twice in one weekend! Started with the Mimosa flights which were great! They use a syrup instead of juice which makes it light so you aren't too full for your food. So many flavors to choose from which was good too. Breakfast was great both days! Delicious brunch ! If you're a Benedict fanatic like I am, you know how problematic it can be to add cold ingredients to the top of a hot egg - the egg gets cold too fast. 27 has fixed that problem by serving the whole thing in a little hot skillet. Everything is hot and the muffin gets all soaked in the yummy goodness. I got the lobster Benedict (my first time in New England) and those lobster claws were big and tender and flavorful, and it was a generous serving. I'm a fan. They also have an extensive selection of flavored mimosas and other cocktails as well as beers. The kids menu is creatively named and the syrup was awesome. Can't speak on the food but can speak on the outrageous and disgusting way my family was treated by the owner, Andrea. We were a party of 8 and put our names on the waitlist which said we were second in line. Checked in about 25 minutes after that and they said another 20-30 minutes but could be sooner. Okay no problem. Checked in at 35 minutes to which the host said we were next in line and started setting a table for 8. I told my family to start coming in since she was setting our table. The owner, Andrea, rudely and aggressively came over to us and told us we needed to get out, after being in there for maybe 2 minutes. Mind you it's pouring the rain outside, we have a 6 month old baby with us and there's a tornado watch. I said oh okay sorry the host just told me that table for us so we were just waiting to which she replied "I don't care what she told you she told you wrong and you need to get out." I'll be generous and say we stayed inside for maybe another 60 seconds trying to figure out what to do to which she said "I'm not gonna ask you a third time you need to get out." I understand it being a tighter space and we didn't want to be in the way but have some respect and kindness for your customers. I asked her who her manager was and she said Andrea and said she was also the owner and laughed and said "so good luck with that one." I told her she was extremely rude and should be embarrassed for treating guests like that. Coming from a general manager of a very successful restaurant in Boston, I am absolutely appalled that anyone in the service industry would treat their guests in such a manner and literally kick us out back to the rain after waiting an hour already. I've dealt with so many rude, needy and annoying customers and I could not even think of treating anybody at my restaurant this way. After reading how she responds to anything less then a 5 star review and how she treated us I'm not sure if she needs therapy, anger management or to find a different job but she was clearly miserable and extremely rude. I hope she treats her staff better then her customers. Obviously will never be back nor recommend. Go to stairway cafe next door, food is always amazing the owner is so sweet. read more

My first time at 27 North was a very pleasant surprise! I took my boss out to lunch and we were able to have a very easy conversation dispite a full house. I saw lots of families and they also have an nice little bar area with TVs. I started with the best chowder I have had recently. Think a less thick version of Legal's...amazing and maybe the best in the valley. I went with the "Larry Burd" (chicken salad sandwich w/ bacon bits) and my boss had the "Legit"- a legit looking Philly cheese steak (looked more Pat's than Geno's). I ordered the coleslaw (over tater tots) while boss went fries-all were delicious! It was a business meeting so we had H20. They had great looking Bloody Mary's, Margarita's and local beers on tap. Our server was very pro and gave us room to talk while maintaining her natural charm. Food was served fast and hot. I look forward to coming back! read more

We've been coming to this place every time we visit the valley for the past few years. The food and drinks were always good. However, we just had the worst experience at a restaurant. Never have we been treated so poorly and with such disrespect. We called on Tuesday at 1:18 pm for a reservation on Sunday at 11am. (We have the call logs to prove it). We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, called from outside per the restaurants rules, gave them our name and they even told us the number of people in our party, and were told we'd be seated shortly they were just waiting to clear our table. After waiting until 11:10am to be seated we called again and were told they didn't have our reservation under the name provided earlier and then the person on the phone said it was under a different person in our parties name and that they were clearing our table and we'd be seated shortly. After watching three tables of the same size arrive after us and be seated before us it became clear there was a larger problem. And after four times of being told they "were clearing our table" and going to the host stand multiple times even having one of the staff ask a co-worker "why did that table get seated before this group?" meaning us we finally asked to speak to the owner who was actually one of the hosts who then become incredibly rude and told us they "never had our reservation" and they couldn't "kick tables out." She never once apologized, was very rude with her tone and never did anything to even try and make it right for the customer. We're still in the parking lot waiting for the text confirming our table is ready and finally left and went somewhere else. After being treated so poorly and being lied to by multiple employers and the owner I welcome the owner calling us so we can discuss how you treat your customers and show her the calll logs. We understand everyone is trying to make it work with COVID but if you you' can't handle reservations and honor them maybe don't take them. read more

This review is not about the food; It is good. I enjoy the flavor, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is cool. What I am concerned about is the charge to use a credit card. The prices on the menu are there but there is a little sign that says they add 3.4% to this if you use a credit card. This is the first place, and perhaps the last, that I will go to having to pay for using a credit card. If charging 70 cents for a bill of $20.00 makes or breaks a business then there are problems. For instance I usually base the tip on the total bill and that is usually 20%. I do not pay attention the the tax but on a $20.00 bill it is $1.80. So if I base my tip on the $18.20 bill the tip will be $2.73. If I based my tip on the total of $20.00 it would have been $4.00. Thus I make up the difference easily from the "extra" credit card fee. I think I would rather pay the server the tip than waste it on the management's decision to charge me for using the credit card. But I understand that overhead is a bite out of the profit. So is the turnover of good employees when they do not feel like they are being paid. Again this is not about the food or service. If I were just rating them it would have been a 5 star. read more

Food, atmosphere, and price. The three tenets of a dining experience. 27 North nailed all three. The waitstaff welcomed us from the rain, seated us promptly, and took our drink order. They serve only breakfast and lunch so is not an evening location, although they'd nail that too if they chose to stay open later. The menu had great options for breakfast or lunch but not too many. They know what they're good at and that makes it worth your while. For lunch they offer salads, chili, sandwiches, and burgers. We chose the Larry Bird(chicken salad sand) with fries and a bowl of Chili with a side of hash browns extra crispy. Both were excellent and got us thinking about when we can get back for breakfast or even lunch again. The prices with very reasonable and the portions were great.
