I went to quick tire on 7/9/2026 to get 4 used tires. They had some in stock not the same size I…read morewas running but all for the same size just smaller in height. Well it started to put the tires on my rims and the guy that was working there told me at least three times that they have went through four mechanics helpers in the past month as if I cared. I don't know which one done it I figured both but they end up rounding off too of my lug nuts this was going to be a repair that I would have to do to fix it so after they got the wheels back on he informed me that two of the lug nuts would have to be replaced. Okay I went home I ordered a set of lug nuts waiting for them to come through mail and today I was going to replace the ones that were rounded off. To my surprise two of the studs on my front wheels the threads are really messed up and the lug nut will not go on there. This is about a $250 damage done to my truck for a mechanic to fix those two studs. I would not recommend quick tire to nobody stay away from this place that will mess your wheels up.

Had Smith automotive put on shocks. I told them explicitly that I didn't want to put cheap shocks…read moreon. I wanted something at least in the mid range price point. Two years after installation, they have collapsed and I need another set. That's not my worst experience. I had them do the tune up where the serpentine belt, water pump, tensioners were replaced. Not a cheap job. The "Tune Up" lasted around 5000 miles before my wife and I found ourselves stranded on Wendover Ave., Greensboro. This is a very busy road and we were in a dangerous position after the car stopped. The car just died suddenly. The car was towed to a AAA recommended shop. They diagnosed the problem as the serpentine belt having slipped. The most likely cause of the problem was failure to replace the tensioners or put in quality tensioners. Later, into the teardown, the belt was found to be two notches off. We were told that there was a possibility that the belt was put in one notch off originally. This made sense as the car seemed to have more power after the repair. We have since traveled 15k with the new tune up with no problems. This car has am interference engine. We are lucky that the shop's incompetence or, doing jobs on the cheap, did not result in the destruction of the engine!!! AVOID this shop if possible!!!

Took my car for a valve cover gasket replacement charged me 286 dollars for them to mess the job up…read morenot once but two times putting the spark plug tube seals in upside down both times making my car leak more oil than it was before I took it up there and ended up having to pay another mechanic to fix my car the same job they did cause I didn't want them touching my car again and now my car has no issues whatsoever after the other mechanic fixed it and they refuse to take any responsibility. The desk lady is very nice and I've took multiple vehicles to get tires done never had any problems so I didn't figure I'd have any this time but I was wrong. I'm very disappointed
