They claimed to have done something when there's proof that they did not. Also, please know your rights as a tenant, because these people will do anything to undermine them. They're expecting you to NOT stand up for yourself. Moving in? Take photographic evidence of the condition of the property BEFORE you move a single item into the property. Open every cupboard and closet. Don't forget the baseboards, floors, walls, ceilings and the outside (exterior and grounds)! While they can't hold a property for longer than 2 weeks, they were able to help assure me that they would make sure we get a rental we wanted. While we did take the risk of renting site unseen due to moving across country, the property itself came with very little issues, and they have been prompt at addressing the maintenance even with the holiday on Monday! If you're also looking into their properties, I recommend having some longer term patience as they let me know they were often busy with property management and assignments after the 6th of the month. Catching them at the tail end of one or the beginning of the next is ideal for getting the property you want!

When your primary form of communication is via email it would benefit you to sound remotely professional. 3. Overall the management/owners were unprofessional and rude. I was continually confused about why I was asked to fill work orders out with details that were blatantly not reviewed prior to coming to the unit. Received email warnings about "excess animal waste" outside our unit when we didn't have a pet at the time. There aren't many options in 29 and it seems Western Home Builders seems to be aware of the lack of competition with how unprofessional they are. If you have to deal with them be prepared for some of the most subpar customer service there is and bring your patience because you'll need it.
