I rented with these folks while stationed at 29 Palms, and they shake their customers down. I was there for only a year - I have two toddlers and my spouse - and they kept more than half of my security deposit and did not prorate my last month's rent. I rent a lot as an active duty service member, and never have I had such a shake down from my landlord. They should be ashamed how okay they are with ripping military families off. Update. Taylor is not a property manager. She is the office manager. She lies She pushed my sister to fill out an application making it seem like there was so much competition. Rather than doing the obvious first step and run a credit check, she contacted my sisters current landlord so now her landlord knows she's moving. My sister was jerked around by Taylor the Assistant Property Manager (whatever that means) Taylor was degrading and manipulative saying she lied about her income. My sister had sent her tax return in and Taylor doesn't understand what gross income is when reading the return. Taylor accused her son of not having a job when he had sent in a years proof of working at his job. As another reviewer said, she seems to have a superiority complex and works against someone trying to rent, trying to make them feel inferior or "less than" when in reality, her rentals are dumpy. There are hundreds of rentals in that area. Avoid Inspire at all cost. read more

We needed to sell our rental house in Joshua Tree and called upon Dori and Merl to help us. They we both very helpful and gave us some great ideas to help clean up the place to make it more desirable for selling. They also helped in finding some good contractors for the work that needed to be done to the house. Meeting with them was super easy and they were alway available if we needed. Merl even met a delivery for me when I couldn't make it. Super nice people and very knowledgeable about the entire sale process. They made it a breeze and everything went extremely well. It was our first interaction with Inspire. We applied for a small rental cottage in Morongo Valley. The ads said nothing about income requirements. We are a married couple in our 50's with no kids. Employed and with excellent credit, good savings. AFTER applying online and paying the $30 fee my husband called the office and spoke to Jill. She was unprofessional, unpleasant and rude. She then told my husband that they require TRIPLE the rental amount of $1050. We do not make $3,000 per month. More like $2400. So we were close but not good enough for Inspire. When my husband asked Jill what her office hours were she said that she comes in "whenever she wants". SUPER professional, Jill! Wow thank you for being SO "awesome". Merel and Dori were our Lanlords for years. They were some of the best Labdlords we ever had. Always on top of things and extremely prompt. When it came time for us to want to buy a house we asked Merel to be our agent. I can not say enough good things about our experience. He was honest when it came to our questions about properties and was in constant contact with us. He went above abd beyobd to find the perfect home for us. The whole experience was smooth and we were in our new home quickly. I highly recommend using Merel and Dori for any Realty or Propery needs. Never refunded our application fee per text message/email. They were great to work with in the beginning Jill is wonderful but her sister Taylor I feel has some personal issues and doesn't like to be challenged. Very defensive and unprofessional she enjoys talking down to to tenants. The broker Karen is a whole other ball of disappointment and bizarre. I get that old timers don't like out of towners moving into the area but that's what grows the community. Fulfilled the rental requirements ( even more so) and were going to move into the house but the management and owners dragged their feet on getting it ready and waited until the day before move in to complete tasks. Taylor acted like what we were expecting was over and beyond the normal scope and I felt uncomfortable with both management and owners so backed out. At least we got our deposit back but not the app fees. They were very rude when my daughter (who was a coapp) went to pick up the check. I feel like we dodged a bullet with this group. The area in general is great to visit but after the festivals dissipate you're left with a town that is struggling and too many airbnbs next/in residential areas. Locals can't stand people from LA and make that known loud and clear but will take your money. Anyway maybe they are better when purchasing a home but you'd be better to go with maybe Roadrunner which is connected to Coldwell Banker RE for rentals read more

With the pleasure of being both a homeowner and tenant through Inspire, I cannot recommend them enough. 1) Highly responsive to any and all maintenance issues. When I was living in one of their homes and had a problem with the hot water heater, a handyman they have on call was more than happy to come over himself at any time. Fortunately we were able to troubleshoot over the phone. The subcontractors get so much business from Inspire that they do excellent and timely work. 2) Online portal for collecting rent makes money transfers fast and easy. Homeowners get a detailed report at the end of the year that includes all expenses for tax write-offs. For homeowners: Inspire doesn't around with vetting tenants. When I went through the application process they track down previous landlords and verify employment. I've never had an issue. Inspire takes sincere interest in maintaining your home. I've experienced two other property management companies in the area and Inspire is unquestionably the best. read more

I decided to sell recently and figured they did such a good job of managing I would give them a shot. Karen was able to answer all my questions related to selling and give me suggestions regarding repairs. They where a few bumps along the way due to COVID but that's just the world today. I recently called regarding a rental property and I had the unfortunate luck of talking with Julianne B she is extremely rude and unprofessional. During our short conversation she accuse me of not being able to afford the property($850 @ month).I told her I would come in with documents so that we can go over everything. She then tried to push me onto a different property when I mention that I wanted one that had a little more privacy she accuse me of wanting to cultivate marijuana. After realizing the conversation wasn't going anywhere I decided to hang up shortly after I received a text with her harassing me. Spacious properties are pretty hard to come by, but they didn't disappoint with the property based on my requested needs. My Fiancé and I were renting in the low desert and the home owner decided to sell the house. We were frantic that we wouldn't find a place in time and having two children made us even more anxious. We made an appointment and met with Jill at the property. She was very helpful and gave us the low down on the area and where the parks were and all of that good stuff. She brought out a box of toys and crayons for the kids and we were done signing the lease in about 15 minutes! We moved in a few short days later and the property was spotless! I had a small issue with an a/c unit. They decided to work with the property owners on my behalf and I ended up getting a brand new a/c unit that is bigger and more powerful!
