This place is awesome. Was recommended to me by my oil change guys because I had a very slight oil leak. While they had it, they made note of my brakes being worn down. They fixed my oil leak in less time than they quoted. I then took it back for the brake job. They did that in less time than quoted and it cost me less than quoted. Summary: took less time and cost me less. 5 Stars! 2 thumbs up!! High 5! p.s. I am on a fixed income so I couldn't get both done at the same time read more

Barry and his guys repaired my car after the serpentine belt broke. He also fixed a cooling fan. The car runs better than it did before the failure. 299 auto had the car fixed the day after I brought it inThis was much faster than expected. Barry gives you a quote and it was accurate. I was referred to Barry as2 years ago by a friend and he is now the go-to for my family andy mother in law. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Barry W.

The face behind 299 Automotive... With over 16 years of experience in automotive repair, having worked at 2 high volume dealerships excelling in customer service with the lowest percentage of comebacks in the dealership, I stepped out in faith to open 299 Automotive, LLC. As a GM World Class and ASE Master Certified Technician, I knew I could offer the experience. And after seeing firsthand the skepticism between technician and customer, I knew our foundation would be built on honesty. I strive to live my life, both personal and professional, in a way that reflects my faith. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching and playing sports. Married to my best friend of 16 years we have 3 beautiful children: Beckham (13) Cailtyn (12) and Brooklyn (10). We attend Mobberly Baptist Church and reside in Longview, TX
