Checked my oil when I got home (10 miles) 3/4 of a quart low on oil, power steering, brake fluid, and coolant also below the low mark. One of the 4 bolts that hold the engine cover on was not replaced. So now I feel I should get up early tomorrow to check the drain plug and filter. Avoid if you value torque specs: I Took my car to Tidwell recently to have my wheels balanced and…read moredespite me leaving notes above the wheel arches specifying the lug nut torque spec (85lb-ft) and specifically asking the front desk to torque the nuts to spec. When I attempted to remove them a couple days later they were incredibly tight, and I ended up grabbing my torque wrench to see what it took to remove them - and every lug nut maxed out my wrench at over 190lb-ft... would be frustrating to have this happen from a cheap shop, but especially from a "premium" one like Tidwell. But that's not all. I then spent a few weeks (and a little over $1000) chasing down a cyclical tapping noise from somewhere in the driveline only to eventually have a shop discover that the wheel weights used were installed poorly because they didn't fit the rim profile correctly and were rattling about at certain speeds. They said the wheel weights should have been the stick on kind and not the clips for the rim shape. Worth mentioning that I had requested stick in weights because I prefer those anyway, but was told they didn't have any. I've used Tidwell before a few times and they're more expensive than most, so I thought I would be getting better service. This wasn't the only time they over torqued my lugs but it was the most extreme, and it will certainly be the last. I almost didn't bother with making this review, but discovering they botched the wheel weights was too much.
