I had black out blinds in the bedrooms installed and panel blinds in my living room a while ago…read more It was a couple that had brought me the swatches for the honeycomb style blackouts as well as the varieties of colors for the panels too. I picked out 5 track for the panels to have the blinds open up on each side. Once fully closed, they overlap nicely. While open they aren't exactly lined up on either ends. The blackout blinds had to be broken into 2 sections due to the height of the windows, they were 8 feet tall, the solid wasn't ideal but doable. The bigger section from the start would get stuck while trying to close to the ground and will often get stuck about 2-3 inches off the ground. The panels have to be carefully closed or they will bend and fold onto each other as they close over and pass the tracks. The right side must be closed over first and then the left. Sometimes I have to fix them so they don't bend as they go over the previous panels to nicely lay as planned. The panels are a bit more money but they look cool and give a nice shading, but not too much. All told, it was under $5k. The blackouts still leave gaps to the walls and soffits.

I ordered 4 sets of blinds from this company, 1-800-4-blinds. The owner did not measure two of the…read morewindows correctly and when we told the owner of the company that the blinds did not look right and we would like a remeasurement and replacement, Craig, the owner was completely unhelpful and refused to rectify his mistake who actually took the measurements. He offered us a $200 refund on a $1300 order. Instead of offering good customer service, he just wanted to move past his mistake and not fix it. I've given the owner at least one month to fix the situation, but he has not responded or tried to fix his mistake. Very unsatisfied and regretful to order from 1-800-4-blinds! Buyer beware!

We replied no, Saturday works best. Next, they responded that the Saturday slot is not available. The site clearly says 'available dates and times'. I feel like they just don't want to work on a Saturday so say it's not available when it is. I went back to the site and Saturday is still available- so why are we being told it's not? Review might change after consult but at this point I am not happy with this company and we haven't even met them yet.

We ultimately ordered roller blinds, honeycomb shades (including blackout), and SmartDrapes for over 30 windows of varying sizes. Additionally, we chose battery-operated shades for our living and dining rooms to achieve a clean, cordless look. The Disneys delivered and professionally installed all items on time and to our satisfaction. Subsequently, we ordered a few more honeycomb shades for additional windows.
