So i ordered pizza and wings for fathers day.....so mixed about this experience, I went to pick up the order there was only one person working the phone ringing off the hook... so on with my experience..., 1)ordered a large sink pizza added meatballs and banana peppers waited for the woman to bring my order....she answered the phone and told someone they couldn't deliver because she didn't have a delivery person....he was setting on the bench waiting with his red insulated delivery bag. 2)she brought my order LOOKED at the receipt and i was out the door when i got to the car i looked at the pizza and saw no veggies on it so I walked back in and asked...they made the wrong pizza but she looked at the receipt and knew it was wrong ....sink was on the receipt anyway i waited another 20 minutes till it got done....they did nothing about it not even an apology...but after all she lied about not having a delivery person...no big deal not out for freebies any way.... 3)so the pizza over all was good the toppings were adequate maybe a little more sauce would have been nice... but the wings not so much i don't know what brand of sauce they use but it was good although a bit spicy...for me was it ok my wife not so much....they were your typical rubbery type wing you get from Dominoes or Pizza Hut 4)pizza I'd give an 8...wing sauce a 9....wings a 2...i will order pizza from here again at some point...but forget about the wings... read more

I am not a professional food critic, but I love great tasting food, especially pizza. I've eaten pizza from around 10 pizza establishments in the Akron and Kent area and in Cleveland. Every city I travel to I always try to go to their best pizza place. I've eaten Chicago deep dish pizza at Giordano's in Chicago and Tampa and Gino's East in Chicago. I ordered a Chicago style pie with mozzarella cheese, red sauce, pepperoni, bacon, and hand pinched sausage. I would say this pizza is better than most pizzas in the Akron/Kent area. Each ingredient worked together to create a good tasting pizza. I'd get another Chicago pie from here. read more

The crust/dough was like cardboard and there was very little cheese. Noticed after the fact that all the good reviews are years old. Then they cancelled the order and my credit card was still charged. Where to begin. I fancy my self a pizza critic. I have had pizza from most places in the Akron area. I ordered the Chicago Style Pie with Pepperoni chunks, sliced meatballs, Italian sausage and roasted garlic. The pizza was at least 3 inches thick. The crust was perfect. It was so full of toppings and cheese that I could only eat one and a half slices. This is saying a great deal for me. I love pizza. They delivered the pizza and it was nice and hot and not mushy. I hate Chicago pizza that the crust is soggy. This was not. One of the most impressive things was when I heated it for lunch the next day it was just as good as when they delivered it. I was in Tallmadge helping a relative move, needed pizza, tried this place and I am very glad that I did. All of the pizza I had was good (bought about 4) but the Chicago style pizza was the star. It is not easy to find legit Chicago style pizza outside of the city but these guys do a very respectable job. I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had, but for the speed and price, there is simply nothing to complain about. Honestly this might be the best Chicago style I've had in Ohio, nothing fancy, just well done. Much loved from all of the people to dug into it. Really friendly guy who sold it to me as well. This used to be our go to place for pizza. Not sure if that will remain so. The food is good. But tonight we had a horrible experience with them. In full disclosure, we ordered through UberEats because that's the only way we can get their delivery to us. We ordered two Chicago style pizzas and one 2-liter of soda. The driver showed up with one of the pizzas, period. He claimed 3 Guys didn't give him the soda--but I made him call 3 Guys from my place and as soon as he identified himself, they said, "You didn't take their soda." But the restaurant insisted their order only had only pizza even though our order showed two of the pizzas. They said it was Uber's foul up and we'd have to deal with them if we were unhappy. I ended up getting reimbursed from Uber but the person from 3 Guys really could have been more helpful than just saying it was Uber's fault. Also, Uber says 3 Guys sent us the wrong order. read more

You never know when they are going to be open or closed even though the hours are posted on here and the website. Authentic deep dish. We had Chicago deep dish earlier this summer, and this was very similar. They model after Giodonos, so they have a top sauce crust. I like the actual crust better too, the Gino's we had was cornmeal and it falls apart and gets soggy easily, making leftovers difficult. The deep dish takes about 20 min per cook, FYI. I just ordered the Chicago style pizza and it is wonderful...Very hot when it arrived and the sauce and cheese were amazing..the only negative was that I ordered it well done.(I like crispy crust..and the crust was pretty soggy..I realize that with a deep dish pizza like that it might be a little mushy but this was really wet...still the taste was amazing!!!
