This is a family owned restaurant that has been around since 1959. Their pizza is still a favorite for those living in Canton, Ohio and those visiting as well. The pizza is delicious and tastes homemade. The toppings are plentiful. I am usually not a meat eater, but the pepperoni pizza is fabulous with plenty of pepperoni, cheese and sauce. I found the sausage, peppers and mushroom pizza to be delicious as well. The pizza was hearty and filling. I only ate three slices of pizza and I was full. I ordered take out pizza, which is CoOVID-19 safe. I look forward to trying other items on the menu. The breaded cauliflower looks like a tasty treat. read more

The pizza is just good. Crust is too thick for my liking, but you can ask for thin crust. What's really good here are the whole wings. Any of the chicken stuff is simply freaking delicious. It's my go to every time I come to the area for business. read more

One of the best pizza shops in the area. There are several really good pizza places in Stark County but this one is great. The pizza crust is nice and thick and the pie is made with plenty of toppings. This places loves to overload with plenty of delicious toppings. My go-to's are the pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms and a half order of Jo-jo's. Yum! I normally order a 1/2 order of jo's because the potatoes are sliced instead of wedged so there is a lot of potato per piece. A full order of jo's is ten potatoes so if you're not that hungry, order a half order and they will gladly make you five instead (they only charge you half the price also.) Again, the pizza and potatoes are some of the best in the area. One negative note to mention, their hours of operation. They usually take the last order about an hour before the posted closing times which is considerably earlier than many other pizza shops in the area. They usually close at 8pm with a last order at 7ish or so. Other than that, no complaints. read more

I have been a customer for 39 years. The pizzas and the Big Mike's are my favorites. On 12-30-14 I ordered a 12 pc chicken with potatoes, I received 8 pieces, all dark meat. I was also overcharged, the bill was $25-28, but I let it go because my son was hungry and didn't have time to return the order. Tonight 1-2-2015, I ordered a Big Mike, only to find out debit/credit cards aren't accepted for deliveries. Hmmm...a policy change within the past 3 days...so i ordered elsewhere. Zavarelli's management, I'm going to give you a chance to make this right. I am disabled and generally don't use cash for safety reasons, and I'm certainly willing to prepay. This is by far the greatest pizza I have had in my three years here in Ohio. I will gladly don my bulletproof vest and risk life and limb to get to this place from my safe neighborhood in Jackson township. The pizza is legit that good. The lady who made my pizza was very friendly also. read more

I've had this pizza about three times within in the last 9 months and it's just okay. Every once in a while type of pizza. It's a thicker style pizza crust (which I like), but it is just sort of bland and doesn't reheat very well. The thing that really put me off from my last visit were the hot wings. They were disgusting. We asked for them extra crispy as we do not like chewy skinned wings and they ended up being crispy. The problem was the lack of sauce and then the fatty layer underneath the crisp. I don't know how else to explain it. It was like eating rubber. Save your $7 and pass on the wings. Canton has a lot of good pizza places and this one would be far down on my list. read more

We ordered for the first time from Zavarelli's tonight. I ordered a sheet pizza, which is advertised as 30 pieces. I expected it to be a large rectangle pizza, like other pizza places' sheet pizzas. My husband went to pick it up, and it was simply 2 round pizzas. What the heck?!? With rectangles you get more square footage of pizza to eat. Then, on top of that, the sauce was the blandest I've ever had in my life. It tasted like plain tomato sauce. We're never eating here again. What a waste of money. read more
