I booked this room via a third party site. The price was wayyyyy too low for all the great ratings and amenities. I call this a gamble booking. And before arrival, I'm crossing all of my fingers that everything goes well. What a shock to find out this place is FABULOUS!! My one bedroom suite was located on the third floor next to the stairs, but after a very long day of driving, I'm happy to make the track up a few flights. Yes there is an elevator nearby too. The decor was not your standard hotel room style, but that just added to the charm. The mini kitchen worked out just fine although I had to laugh at some of the cabinets that were glued shut. So why four stars instead of five? While not a dealbreaker, the wall unit AC worked great, but was only in the living room. The thermostat itself was in the bedroom with no air-conditioning unit. So that means sleeping with the bedroom wide open and the AC cranked to the max. Strange! Our room was super quiet during the night and very comfortable. I loved the resort style courtyard, which was full of fun-loving travelers and families throughout the evening. I did not use the fitness facility, but it had a great view overlooking the pool area. There is also a covered picnic area with large gas grills available. In the morning, I enjoyed walking the grounds and looking at all the beautiful landscaping around this property. While you won't get free breakfast here, they do offer hot coffee and tea in the lobby. The coffee was quite good actually. At the insanely low price that I paid to stay here, I would absolutely not hesitate to return to this hotel in a heartbeat. My only regret is that I don't have longer to stay in the area and explore some of the hiking trails and beautiful parks that are nearby. read more

You can't beat the price at this hotel, especially in this desirable north Oracle location. I have stayed here twice. It is an older hotel that has been remodeled with rather energizing contemporary wall paper, and since it is older the rooms are large. I liked having both a mini fridge and microwave as well as dimmable lighting, lots of USB ports and a timer on the fan. The beds were comfortable both times that I stayed here and everything was clean.The fitness room is excellent with a professional multi machine, smith machine, free weights and both a curl bar and a straight bar, dumbbells, 3 tread mills, a bike, Pilates ball, mats, some bottled water. If you are a serious lifter, you will like this. Both mornings that I worked out in the gym, the pool maintenance man was fastidiously cleaning the pool, and it and the hot tub were sparkling. There is a putting green and covered BBQ area though I didn't use those. I did try to swim in January and though it is heated it was still too cold for me, but I was trying to swim at 8 am and if the sun was up, it would probably be OK. There are a few things to consider when staying here and these are probably the reasons for the lower ratings from others: the walkways and curbs to the parking are a bit uneven, they do a good job painting bright yellow on all curbs, but you still need to be looking down to make sure you do not stumble. The traffic noise on nearly Oracle road will keep you up at night unless you have really good earplugs. I actually wore Bose noise cancelling earplugs and this worked great to cut the noise. There is also only one elevator for the 3 story structure so if mobility is an issue for you, you may want to try another place or get a ground floor unit. Overall, if you want a good price for a clean hotel in this location and come prepared for the noise, you may also like this place. read more

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs We stayed here only because we had a reservation through AAA and had just driven 13 hours--too exhausted to search for another option. If I could give a negative star I would. Very VERY poor customer service, even after we stated it's our honeymoon and their website uses heavy bait & switch tactics on their rooms. If you want to come back to your hotel being anywhere from 75 to 83 after a hot day, this is the hotel for you as their AC is on a 30 minute timer during the day. The front desk says it's a motion sensor but I looked up the AC online and the product states it's a timer controlled by the installer or the front desk. They were very firm on not wanting anything to do to help as they claimed they couldn't do anything on their end. Plus if you get the suite with the side room, that separated room gets incredibly hot no matter what and if you're watching a movie or anything in there. The AC will 100% shut off after the timer and will get even hotter as thete is only a fan sucking air through the wall into that room . We even brought a floor fan with us and that didn't do anything to help .None of this was stated online, no apologies or anything. Online page showed photos of queen room suite with a kitchenette and full fridge.... Only small mini fridge and microwave .Not stated online and when I asked they said "oh that's just a generalization of photos to show what all the rooms look like" even though I specifically clicked on the queen suite room to see what the room looked like. No apologies or anything of the sort TV was also on timer, it will go back to hotel menu 1/3 of the time while watching. Sometimes even after 30 minutes, just after putting on a movie. Not stated online  The 1st morning we were there we went to talk to the front desk and requested there would be no room service during our stay and she said that wouldn't be a problem. And then when we went in a few days later to ask for towels the very pretentious "man" said there would be mandatory room service but after a 20 minute conversation where he was very standoffish and incredibly rude when I was just trying to have a adult conversation I was told they would only come in the room once. Then it became twice and then they just came in every day the last 3 days. Story was changed 3 times on room service mandate after being told there wouldn't be an issue with having no room service  Spoke about my feelings about having being stolen from by other hotels and the pretentious "man" said they were offended because I was coming in with pre-conciceved notions about that.Yet they have all their pre-conciceved notions about me not wanting room service and essentially called me a jackass because I was voicing my concerns without raising my voice or cursing at them. Mandatory room service was not stated online and I was heavily mislead multiple times by the entire staff all without a single apology or anything of the sort. There was no attempt at a co-operative conversation, no attempt at compassion, no attempt to do their jobs even after stating it was our honeymoon. Was told there is no corporate or anyone above manager to talk to and that she was the only one I could voice my concerns to.... So did my own digging and found their owners so I could contact them myself since they clearly don't want anyone complaining to them about their service and actions. Also the entire time we were there, the elevator communication was not working and the "communication failure" light was flashing the entire stay and no signs were posted anywhere to warn those who rode the ONLY elevator that was on the property. So I called the City elevator inspector and made them aware of the code violations and that the last inspection was almost 2 years old (1/31/2024) so if the elevator was closed down during your stay the last month, this is why. They failed to check the elevator for ANYTHING nor keep up on the inspections, putting potential lives at steak as it's an outside elevator with glass walls and no AC If someone got stuck with no phone, there's no telling how long they could've been trapped in there Only 4 handicapped parking spots on property and 3 of them were at the lobby Pool & Jacuzzi covered in algee read more

Second time staying here. It is excellent for the price! Older property but newly remodeled with rooms having (2) 55" UHD smart TV's. We love the pool and the hot tub! The grounds and pool are always sparkling clean. Heated pool. Water temperature is 80 degrees (Feb / March) according to my smart watch. Hot tub is 102 degrees. All the staff i encountered were friendly and helpful from the front desk, the groundskeepers and the cleaning staff. Our room was cleaned daily without having to ask, they just did it. Excellent! I had a roll of toilet paper by the bed for allergies and the cleaning staff left an extra box of tissue by the bed :-) Excellent stay! We'll be back! read more

I've never been to Tucson before & planned on a motorcycle ride out here for St. Patty's Day weekend. When I typically book a room, I consider many things. Gas stations nearby, restaurants, shopping centers, accommodations. Other hotels in various parts of Tucson I was looking at prior, had many reviews about homeless folks hanging around in their parking lots. Thank goodness my friend has family living in Tucson- and they directed me to which part of town to look at. Once I checked Google Maps, 3 Palms already caught my eye! The hotel is going thru renovations! And we did book a newly renovated room- that got the job done! Although right now, there's no lobby to enter from- just follow the arrows at the main entrance for check in... it'll lead you to a window around the way. We did request a ground floor, when I booked directly via phone call- and were super glad they were able to accommodate. There's miniature golf on site (one of the silly reasons why I booked here). Jacuzzi was closed/ but, pool open. Although we didn't have a chance to use either- next time! There are black out curtains, which come in super handy- since our room was located on the west side of the property. The separate living room area with door- worked perfect because I'm on a different sleep schedule than my friend- and didn't want to disrupt her. The 2 Queen bed area also has a mounted tv- and this is where you'll enter the room. I don't recall if AAA discounts are offered here. Whole Foods and Sprouts are next door & so is Kohl's. read more

The staff was friendly and very attentive. And the room was clean. The experience was a little bit less than desirable. First impressions matter and staff member at the front desk, Elijah, made sure that my stay began on a high note. They were extremely inviting and upbeat. I immediately felt safe on arrival. I pulled my car around the back, carried my bags up to my room and the feeling of safety and security immediately fled. My room door was open before I had the chance to step foot inside. It wasn't wide open but it was cracked. I'm sure most would be alarmed and immediately put off just like me. I called the front desk, reported the situation to Elijah and was promptly given a new room. The room itself was fine. It was exactly as shown. Nothing more, nothing less. If I had one nitpick it would be the lighting in the rooms. I was able to adjust the brightness of the central light but the bulb used was very harsh and gave a cold light almost fluorescent. So I honestly just opted to keep the lights off most of the time. On my last day, I decided I would relax in the jacuzzi. I had been wanting to but every time I passed by the pool I would see a group of people had already beat me to it. Well, on my last day I went to the jacuzzi early to ensure I would be the first one there. I immediately noticed a bottle of shampoo from one of the rooms lying next to the jacuzzi. I knew something felt weird but I decided to ignore it. I turned on the bubbles and the jacuzzi began to froth up as if there was soap in it. I know it's not the fault of the hotel or its staff and rather the guests but that really put a damper on my stay. I just thought that was so disgusting, inconsiderate and inappropriate. Just nasty! Anyways, I reported my findings to the front desk and they said they would have someone look into it. I went up to my room and packed my bags. No jacuzzi for me. I went to the front to drop off my room key, they thanked me fore reporting the jacuzzi situation. I once again reported finding the room open being that it was Sunday and I assumed they would be having many checkouts that day. Then I left. Overall, not bad place to stay. I don't know? I've stayed here multiple times and is overall a good place to stay. The rooms are decently appointed, the front desk staff very polite / helpful, and the check-in/out process is swift and easy. The amenities and pool area is nice and there's ample parking. Housekeeping is friendly. Coffee in the lobby is great. Location is good. A few things to improve: housekeeping is not always super thorough; in my most recent stay, there was clothes / items from the previous guest under the bed (we discovered this on day 4 of our stay.) The soaps/shampoos are not always replenished. Last time, housekeeping left a toilet brush on the counter, which is unsanitary. read more

This hotel is marketing itself as something it is not. If you look at its website, it looks like it has resort-like amenities. It does not. It's a remodeled Red Lion Inn. The rooms are nice enough, but they are not cleaned well and the walls are very thin so you hear everything your neighbors are doing. The pictures showed a full sized fridge which our suite did not have (mini fridge only). The living room area of the suite is easily 10 degrees warmer than the sleeping area because the AC only works well on the one side. Housekeeping is offered only every other day, but they don't bother to tell you that. Even if I had wanted to reuse my towels, the bathroom is the size of a broom closet with precisely 1 hook so you can't. We were there 2 nights and the pool area was taken over both afternoons/evenings by people blasting loud music, drinking (pouring vodka into a water bottle), and vaping - the $100 damage deposit makes a lot more sense after seeing the other guests. There is not enough parking so a number of people were parked in fire lanes overnight. For the price it is OK, but frankly we feel duped. read more

Overall- I would absolutely stay here again. No doubts. I had a small dog, a 3 year old and a 5 year old. The room was 90% clean. The couch had a huge gross stain on it so we got an extra sheet to put down and that helped. It was nice to have the separate room so our kids could go to sleep and we could stay up and watch tv. Very few places to put luggage/clothing and just one hook for towels/wet items. Plenty of good restaurants very very close. (Snooze across the parking lot was great). The pool area was very nice. Spacious. Clean pool. Putting green was just a few holes but a hit with my boys. As stated before- we would stay here again in a heartbeat if we ever came back to Tucson. There was no breakfast and the renovations meant no lobby and very few parking spots because so many are taken up by construction "stuff". read more

Reserved our 'King Suite with Pool Side View nearly a month in advance (on their website) with all the information and check-in time. When we got here we tried to check-in and it all went down hill . First told our 'King Suite with Pool Side View' was not possible because that's not how they do this and essentially called me a liar. I showed them the email with the reservation. Got no apologies but after arguing with me instead of acknowledging the email I was sent from them was correct they offered a MINOR discount to put us in a corner room...not what we had reserved..or cancelled reservation. Fine we took the room. Then we said fine will take the room but not happy about the FALSE ADVERTISING. That's when they said they didn't have one since check-in is 4pm. Um, here we go again... the email I have. which we based our trip itinerary on, specifically says 3pm. At this point it is a few minutes after 3pm and I'm again being called a liar because "we changed it to 4pm a week and a half ago". Oh, that's nice... did you bother to inform anyone if this change? No. They suddenly found a corner room a few minutes later. And this was check-in! The suite is nice enough but if you want it cool in the bedroom you have to freeze out the living room because the vent between them is about 2 inches high and 6 wide. No other airflow in the bedrooms. Hope you're not used to having a fan, you'll suffocate. Been here less than an hour and already wishing we had stayed somewhere, anywhere, else. read more

They are currently in renovation and we were able to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. The bed was comfortable and it truly was a nice room, decor, furniture, etc. The only issue I had was it seemed like the room was not deep cleaned from the previous stayers. I tend to wipe things down if necessary and the door handles, counters, toilet and mirror seemed like they weren't even touched to be cleaned. Our sheets were torn and the bathroom knob fell off while wiping it down and I found some pet hair here and there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is quiet and seemed safe, we had no issues whatsoever. There was also plenty of parking and it's right in the middle of town so everything is a short drive. I really think this could've been a better stay if it seemed a bit more clean. read more

I'm currently staying at this "hotel." It is 12:51 am and so far sleep has been impossible due to all of the slamming noises from the surrounding guests. The police have been here for the room downstairs. It's obvious that this place is a haven for the local drug crowd. My neighbor has had different people making short visits all night. I am frequently in the Tucson area and have stayed at this hotel many times without issue. Today was different. My boyfriend and I stayed there last night and this morning he left for a meeting. I hadn't deadbolt the door yet because I was in bed and not dressed. Two minutes after he left there was a knock on the door. I assume my boyfriend forgot something. I yelled HANG ON and I jumped across the room to let him in while hiding behind the door because again, I was not dressed. As the door starts opening a man states "housekeeping". Luckily I'm behind the door at this point and can stop him from opening the door. It was 8:45am. We were due to check out at 11am like normal. There was absolutely no reason for housekeeping to try and come in my room at that time. None. He didn't apologize even. I was so disturbed I called the front desk. "I'll let the housekeeping manager know" the helpful woman said. Not an apology from her either. I'm so disgusted that I can't ever stay there again. The blatant disregard for my privacy in a room I had paid for until 11am is sick. I yelled hang on. There is no way he didn't hear me and he still proceeded to come into my room at a time when housekeeping should not be there. read more

Stayed here for a few months while working a job in San Manuel/Eloy and enjoyed my stay. The remodeled rooms with kitchenette are a plus and come with a full size fridge to store food for longer stays. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Crystal at the front desk was very polite, informative and professional. The pool is refreshing and deepest point is only 5ft so perfect for seniors/kids. It is also the lowest cost in town for it being under construction but I think they are underselling themselves because I've stayed at other hotels and paid much more for much less. read more

They fold them over and it was shown when there was BLOOD, HAIR, MYSTERY STAINS ON SHEETS, and better yet, there was pen on the blinds, which was also found on the bed sheets (indicating room wasn't cleaned). Carpets are severely stained and bathroom are gross. You would think the renovation would make the rooms look nice but, they are not maintained. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was family weekend at UofA, and we couldn't find a place to stay. Most places were either fully booked or super expensive. When we thought it was going to be impossible, this place popped up in our search. Without looking at the location and distance to the campus, or at least our son's dorm, etc., we reserved it and kept searching. After a week of searching, there were no other properties available, or they were even more expensive than when we first started our search, so we kept our reservation. We did more research on the property and noticed that they have bugger rooms than most hotels, where the sitting area where the TV, desk, microwave, closet and bathroom are separate from the sleeping area and entrance into the room. Thus was super helpful, especially when my son was doing his homework and my mom was watching tv in the bedroom. 1 star for that. There are 3 floors and no elevator. Minus one star. There's a swimming pool and a putting green. Another star. I asked for a newer room because they were a little larger, nicer, and there were black out curtains. Another star. So we were off to a good start. When we arrived, I didn't realize how far this property was to UofA. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't close. If you're looking for a place that's less than 5-10 minutes from campus, this isn't the place. Minus one star for that. On my reservation, the site asked for our estimated time of arrival. I figured they wanted to know if I wanted to check in early since I was arriving early. I was super excited about that. Boy, was I wrong. We arrived at 1pm as stated on the site. When I checked in. The lady at the desk checked to see if a room was ready for us and there was none. She asked us to come back at 2:30-3:00pm. Minus a star. Mood dampener for that. Anyway, it was time for lunch, and we were starving. Luckily, there were a ton of places to eat nearby, grocery stores included. Plus a star. We ordered lunch and killed time. We were finally able to check in about 3:30pm. Yes, I checked in again and still had to wait while 4 other customers received their keys before me. Minus a star. Horrible. Anyway, when we were finally given our keys to our room, we were given a room on the 2nd floor and it was around the corner from the stairs, so it was perfect. Plus a star. The room was pretty clean. Bring slippers. The bathroom is super small. The coffee maker in the bathroom. It would've been better places in the sitting room on the desk. The microwave is in a cabinet next to the empty shelf. The only reason I knew that is because I saw pictures on Yelp, and I like to open cabinets and drawers. The shower is pretty large, and the water pressure was great, especially after a long day of hanging out with your college student. The beds were super comfy. I could've slept in all day if I had the chance. They are a little on the small side. It says queen, but it was more of a full queen than an actual queen. There are 2 tvs, one in the sitting room and one in the bedroom. The AC was awesome in the bedroom but not in the sitting room. Something should probably be done about that. It gets hot in there pretty quick. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a little far from UofA, but not too far. Plus, Snooze am was right next door. If you're hungry, stop by. Their food is delicious. There's tons of parking and several staircases. The swimming pool was small and looked nice, but we weren't able to partake in it; maybe next time. You need wristbands to be able to enjoy the pool. You get that on check-in day if you're going to swim that day and at the front desk every day after that....it's a new wristband every day. Even though we had to wait a bit, the front desk people were polite and quick. They take care of you. They do need to fix the website option about the estimated time of arrival though... sites shouldn't ask that question if they're not going to honor it, no matter what sis you're booking on. They're were other families that stayed during the same time we were and boosted with their wildcat, so that was comforting to know that we weren't the only ones. This hotel is old, worn out, and dirty. We checked in and checked out the same day due to the filth and the fact that there was a huge cockroach in our room. When we first checked in, we were given a room on the first floor where the front door was warped and didn't shut all the way. We were also next to a room that had a dog that barked every time there was a creek in the floor. Due to the door we asked to switch rooms and they put us in a room on the third floor as we feared bugs would get in. The third floor room was filthy and the phone didn't work. The couch and carpet had stains all over and the bed was old and uncomfortable, I could feel the springs poking through. The worst part is that the door to this room was slightly warped too. When we returned to the room for the evening the door was covered with bugs, some of which had gotten into the room. The worst was we had a huge cockroach in the room. I walked down to the front desk to tell them, since the phone didn't work and they sent a guy up with some spray who admitted that he was scared of bugs, so he just sprayed and left. Whoever gets to stay in room 347 next, there's likely a huge dead cockroach in the room behind the dresser. Gross! The advertised rate for this room was around $67 for a king suite. I was excited to stay here and then disappointed. The property itself is dirty too with bags of trash and dirty towels just left outside, maid carts everywhere, and dirty pathways. It's sad because if they gave this place a little TLC it would likely be a good place to stay. read more
