Customer Service is great - very cheerful. Clean and bright location. Easy to get to. I did take in a velvet jacket that I had worn once and spilled something on. They did a bit of damage in the process of trying to get the stain off - not so much that I can't still use it, but I'm picky...so I do notice it a little bit. Overall though, they have done a good job for us with this one exception. Recommend - yes, but with caution about velvet jacket incident. Return? Yes - we take all our cleaning there...with the exception of velvet jackets.....I can damage those at home for cheaper myself! :-)

It is bright, clean, quiet, and staffed. They do have several sizes of machines ranging in price from $3.75 to 11.00 wash. (11 is like a Ferris wheel!) drying is .75 per 13 minutes. Dryers are hot and 13-20 mins is good to go even for towels. Carts are readily available. Clean floor if you drop something. Everyone has access to folding area. Bathrooms are clean but need a swipe from an attendant. Vending machines available and reasonably priced. Tv is on low if you're interested, background music is low. Chickens play area. Several walls of washers and dryers. I got 10 loads done in 2 hours! Spendy ok, but have you ever hand washed 10 loads... let's weigh the options here. Detergent is available, bleach, oxi clean, and even laundry bags... all for a small price. Also have drop off service. It is credit card or add dollars to a swipe. My cc didn't like the 10+ authorizations. Definitely a non creepy, bright light, reasonably busy on a Saturday laundromat. Would recommend.

Place is kept clean, but even the machines that are working at least top loaders take forever to fill. Took 4 minutes to fill and if you use hot it would barely trickle in. No A/C first time I went in July and thought well maybe they had to get it fixed along with the washers and dryers, but a month later and still not working. I'll go a little further across the river to Cool, Clean and New Machines at Laundry World in Algonquin from now on.

When I came to pick it up on the promised day, they could not find it. Staff searched everywhere -- clean items, dirty items, everything -- and the dress was completely missing. Only the next day I was informed that it was "found." Where it was and why it disappeared remains unclear. Because of this, I did not have my dress for an important event. Despite this serious issue, I gave them another chance -- which was a big mistake. I later brought two expensive white blazers (one ~$500, another ~$300). Both were returned ruined. * One blazer came back with multiple stains that were never there before and is now completely unwearable. * The belt from that blazer was also lost and only returned later after I came back again. * The second blazer (part of a matching set) came back yellow/ivory instead of white, making the set unusable. I received my items in worse condition than when I brought them in. When I pointed this out, staff denied responsibility and claimed the stains were already there, which is absolutely not true. The only "compensation" I received was a refund of the $5 cleaning fee -- for items worth over $800 total. If you care about your clothes, especially expensive ones, I strongly recommend staying away. A clean-looking location and decent Google rating do not reflect the actual quality or accountability of this business.

When I was traveling around the U.S. (and then some) for security conferences and security site reviews, I would drop off 20-30+ lbs of laundry, sometimes really sweaty workout t-shirts, clothes that could almost walk by itself and more than occasions, a few pairs of 5.11 pants that were so caked in mud that I thought they were completely trashed, but fear not... These instances were no challenge for the staff at JetXpress Laundry. Just like the sign says at the door, two minutes to drop off laundry and two minutes to pick it up again. The turnarounds were never an issue, and sometimes when I knew I might have to jet out someplace, and didn't take care of my laundry, they were able to wash and fold it often within the same day. The staff is always friendly and would challenge my Rosetta Stone Spanish skills while I was dropping off laundry and picking it up again. An added plus is that they accept credit and debit cards unlike some of the other drop-off laundry locations around Elgin and Dundee. You wouldn't go wrong bringing your laundry to JetXpress, just look at all the other five-star reviews and see why!
