If it were possible to give this business 10 stars, i would give it to them. I ordered a set of component speakers for my suv and stopped by to discuss having my system built in November 2017. My initial plan was communicated to Sal who listened patiently and then gave me his advice as a true professional. Sal let me know why i wouldn't be satisfied with the plan i proposed and suggested a different route. Trusting Sal who clearly has a passion for his craft, i postponed my install. I subsequently made an appointment for mid February to drop my Truck off. Sal responded to emails with questions timely, leading up to the build. He communicated via phone and text during the projects and took care of my truck as if it were his own. He discovered an issue due to an install by the previous owner that could be a fire hazard. With two kids under the age of three, i appreciated him correcting this issue. I picked up my truck and have been over the moon excited about the way the project came out. I had a headunit in mind that i wanted to use and Sal was willing to install it without overstepping and telling my why i shouldn't. He understood that i thought i knew what i wanted. Thankfully i asked his opinion on the kenwood headunit i selected and he not only gave me his honest opinion why he suggested something else but also took time to show me the features on his recommendation. I stopped by this place yesterday because of the amazing reviews I read on yelp. To my surprise it reflected nothing to what anyone has mentioned here on yelp. I even had to question myself, wondering if I was in the right place. I proceeded to the front and noticed I was at the right place and address. As I paced back and forth and even stood there for a few minutes, two employees looked at me and neither one of them had the decency to ask if I needed help. I was looking forward to the great customer service but unfortunately I was greatly disappointed by my visit. I went to 310 Kreations about a year ago to get a double din head unit and backup camera installed in my wife's 2006 Honda Pilot. Sal, the owner, quoted me a great price for the job. Normally I am hesitant when I go to car stereo places because I have had bad experiences in the past when it comes to customer service. Most places make you feel like an idiot for not knowing the lingo and such. Sal and his team treat you with respect and professionalism. The place is not one of those glitzy bougie stores but the team is far better than any hands down. They take the time to explain everything they will do for you and will answer all your questions and concerns. After my first visit, I decided to get some work done on my 2006 acura tl. I had a backup camera, an iSimple bluetooth module, and an Apple TV( yes an Apple TV) installed. Sal hooked it up with no problems. Clean install at a great price. Everything works perfectly and the extra buttons and switches all blend into the OEM interior. I am extremely happy with the work that they've done and will be sending everyone I know who needs work on their cars to 310 Kreations. I told Sal that I don't come back for the price or anything else. Customer service is important to me and him and his team deliver every time. The clean work, quickness, and price are nice as well. I needed a basically a new car stereo since mine was old and it would not play Cd's anymore. I didn't need anything fancy just something entry level that would play Cd's and had a plug for an mp3 player. I found Kreations through yelp and I was not disappointed. I went into the store and was greeted by Sal that everyone writes about and told him my needs and the model I was looking for. He happened to have the exact model that I was interested in which was a pioneer. I was not buying a high end stereo or spending a lot of money my budget was tight so I knew based on my budget what I wanted. He told me $100 out the door which included installation. I knew from searching the Internet what other competitors were charging for the stereo so the stereo was about $65 to $70 on average and the installation was about $30 to $35. Which I expected. $100 was about right. I got lucky cause no one was getting a installation at the time I brought my car and they were able to install it within less than an hour. They were all friendly and I was happy to see that Sal answered all my questions despite the fact I was spending only a little bit of money. I would definitely recommend Kreations to my friends and would go back again if i needed a car stereo on another car. read more

The CD changer on my car went out about 6 months ago. Not wanting to go to the dealer to get it repaired, I suffered listening to the radio and hearing the same 5 songs repeatedly. (Really... is there nothing else out there???). I got fed up and decided to find an auto radio repair place. Heck.. I live in Gardena... There has to be a radio replace place in the 'hood. I did a quick yellow page search and found a review for 310 Kreations claiming they were "Da Bomb." They are located only a few blocks from my house, so I figured I would give it a shot. Located inconspicuously in a strip mall, the location doesn't give off "Da Bomb" vibes. Where were the bass thumpin', 22's sportin', radio blarin' Escalades? Nothing from the street side gives any idea that this place will hook up your sounds. That's the one negative comment I'll leave. We went into the back parking lot and found where the action was. Cars lined up being worked on. Friendly guys hooking up speakers, players, DVD's, you name it. We talked to Sal, and explained our problem. We expected to have to leave the car there for it to get worked on, but he said he would just pop the radio out and check it. 5 minutes later, we were on our way... big gaping hole in the dashboard and all. Sal called me the next day to tell me they diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, the part they needed could no longer be purchased. He found someone who re-builds car radios and could sell us a used stock radio... for $500!!! gasp. The next thing he said is what makes me love this place. Instead of just making the sale, he said, "That's a waste. You can get a new one for much less." Needless to say, he hooked me up with a new radio, complete with an iPod hook-up (my old radio didn't have that) for only $210. Sweet deal. As a bonus, they retrieved my CD's that were stuck in my old radio for nothing. Who does anything for free anymore??? We dropped the car off on Saturday morning and had it back the same day. Could have had it done in 20 minutes, but we didn't have the time to wait. Overall... a 5 star performance from 310 Kreations. I highly recommend giving them a call next time you are in need of some new sounds. read more

Absolutely incredible. I had the unfortunate situation of my rear center Bose speaker/amp going out in my G35. Sal took it out to check and see if it was in good enough condition to get it repaired. Even though it wasn't he didn't charge me anything for taking apart the back half of my car to check and recommended that I find the part somewhere online ebay of Craigslist. Sure enough the OEM price for the speaker was over $500. I bought a used one off of eBay for $80 and brought it in the next week. Even though it was at the end of the day and close to closing time he still took care of me had it installed in less than 20 minutes and only charged me $45 for his services. I left him an additional tip for his honesty and EXCELLENT customer service. This is by far the best experience I've had at ANY car audio installation place I've been to over the years. Sal does a fantastic job on car stereo for a good price. Al & Ed's and others wanted $400-600 for labor to install my new system, and Sal did it for $270. I know easy these systems are to install and know that the other shops are guilty of highway robbery because they know that everyone else west of the 405 is robbing people blind as well. It doesn't take that long, but I really don't have the time to do it. I took him all JL components to include subs and box with a Pioneer deck, and he installed it with a bypass that allows me to use my OnStar still. He also tuned it and let me bring it back in for more fine tuning a few days later. read more

Driving down Crenshaw one day I noticed a hole in the wall car stereo installation place. So I looked it up on Yelp to get some info. All I saw on Yelp were 5 star reviews. I thought to myself an installation place with 5 stars is unreal. A few days later I paid the shop a visit and saw exactly why this place was so highly reviewed. The first time I popped up at the shop it was very, very busy with customers. I went a couple of more times after that with questions and they were busy every single time. I ended up setting up an appointment to get a whole system installed in my car which consisted of a head unit, door speakers, a mono amp, an amp for my highs, tweeters and subs. The whole setup was VERY budget friendly! The crew of 3 is very knowledgeable of products and installations and the customer service is GREAT!!! The owner of the shop (Sal) explains everything he's doing to your car and why he's doing it. That's huge to me because I understand my system better. Another thing that I was very impressed with was the amount of people that were coming through just to say hi to the installers and no matter how many people stopped by the installers DID NOT stop working even while holding conversations. They never took a break! By the time my car was finished it was by far the best sounding system I've ever had, the cleanest as far as wiring and nothing was damaged All that said if your looking to do anything to your car and want 5 star quality at very reasonable prices this is the shop for you. My girlfriend bought a replacement backup camera for her car and Sal quoted her the best price out of the 5 or 6 different places she called... she actually bought the camera online, so she was only looking for the best installation price. I went with her on Saturday afternoon, and we got really lucky to show up when they weren't busy. We asked if they could also remove her front window tint, since it recently caused her a citation by CHP. Sal and his crew got to work right away, and we went next door to Pho Tam to grab a quick bite. It took about 45 minutes for them to finish both the camera installation and the tint removal. The worksmanship was as good as we could have expected. Best part about it? For BOTH services performed, Sal charged us about HALF of what we were quoted elsewhere - for just the camera installation! So it's like getting a 50% discount and getting the tint removed for free. Awesome. I also spent 15 minutes talking to Sal about different approaches to replacing the sub in my car. He's definitely very knowledgable about car audio, and he even showed me a bunch of pictures from other custom jobs he did to give me some ideas of what we were working with. In fact, he showed me pictures of a custom job similar to what I was asking about, on the same model car that I own... very reassuring! Im loving the system can't go pass 10 without it hurting lol. The customer service is great no cocky people like some high end shop. I saw this place on Yelp and just had to go. I've never seen a 5 star rating on a business that deals with people cars. Sure enough this place is a 5/5. The workers explained what they were doing to my car, why they were doing it, and asked me if they could do certain things because they would cost more, as opposed to just blindsiding me with a huge bill. It took only 30min from start to finish for my new head unit to be installed, and on our way out, the owner even offered to give us two free boxes of ice cream because he had too much in his freezer. I am very satisfied! I have an old 2002 vw passat and the tape deck finally gave out. This meant I was stuck listening to the radio instead of all the great podcasts on my phone. When I saw all the 5 star reviews for 310 kreations I had to check them out. I called them up and they were great. They advised me on how to buy a stereo and quoted me a great price for installation. The installation went flawlessly. They started on time, finished ahead of time, and walked me through the setup of the new stereo. They even ran the wiring for the external microphone near the sunvisor and put the interior back together perfectly. I'm loving my new stereo. I can play Bluetooth audio and make hands free calls. I went with 310 Kreations & Sal for one reason - customer service. I shopped around a little bit at other installation shops, each of the others made me feel a little... odd. Not here. Sure, it's a car stereo installation garage - don't expect anything else... but the reality is that Sal and his team are there to make sure they do their job well, and that you're happy with the outcome. Initially I thought I wanted my equipment installed in a certain location and after install, wasn't overly happy with the sound -- neither was Sal. They recommended to move it where it'd sound better, and be equally 'out of the way' -- effectively a "RE" installation of the equipment they just installed... they did so without complaint, and were much happier with the outcome. They also worked through a challenging problem that I had with my hybrid - a car with ANC microphones and a somewhat out-of-date stereo firmware package. Never once did i feel that i was a burden and I even received updates from Sal as he was trying to figure out the problem after-hours. I highly recommend 310 for your stereo needs - great shop, great team. This is seriously the greatest stereo installation place in all of Los Angeles. Sal and his crew are the best, most knowledgable, and fastest installers I have ever seen. Their prices are incredibly low (I keep tipping extra 20-50 since that is the spread between their pricing and the next best yelp reviewed place I could find). They always upgrade their stereos to the latest models and tweak them constantly so they know the ins and outs that you would otherwise have to spend hours online or days w/ the pioneer tech support people in Mumbai. They installed my AVIC Z120BT perfectly into my Escalade. I asked them if I should upgrade the speaker system from premium Bose it had to whatever... they talked me out of it. 2nd time I came in, a year later, I had them remove the traffic tuner (the MSN service was discontinued Dec 2012). They ordered the new one and had it in the office the next day! Talk about service. And the price was cheaper than Amazon and eBay... oh and they installed it for free! After talking with Sal he upgraded the DRL I had been having probs with myself... I'll have him work on our company trucks (he does on-site installs as well). I talked with him about the 1 neg reviewer and he told me he cut his finger (stitches later needed) and yet still he worked through the install after taping it up and being in severe pain. Did the guys' install in 30mins and did a great job from the look of the pics... still the guy whines. WTF yelper?! Some people just can never be content in life. Anyways... I've been meaning to write this review for almost a year now since the first install.... sorry Sal it took me some time. Good luck with everything. I remember coming here years ago with my Civic Coupe. This place tinted my windows and built me a custom box so that I could have enough space in my trunk to fit both a surfboard and the bass. It was done very professionally. I came back now to reinstall a speaker in my Volkswagen. I had a Gentex Auto-Dimming mirror with Homelink and Compass installed on a 2014 Toyota Prius that had come with the standard factory mirror. I also had the Toyota Prius illuminated door sills that I was going to install myself and I figured that I might as well have them do it since I was going in for the powered mirror. The install charge for both was fair and the best price around. They got to me a few minutes after I arrived for my appt. and the work was quality work and fast. Another shop just down the street had quoted me 2 hours more of labor and the charge per hour was ridiculous. 310 Kreations is a small shop but the most important thing for me is quality work at a fair price. 310 Kreations is wonderful. I went there to get a USB iPod interface installed in my 2011 Mustang and I couldn't be happier. When I first called, I spoke with Sal, who walked me through all of my options, told me the advantages/disadvantages of certain products, and was super friendly throughout the entire process. On the day of the install, I hung around the shop, which is really cozy in a suburban "my garage is my man cave" type of way. They had a ton of DVDs to watch and the full cable package. I was ready to stay the whole day and watch Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo over and over, but eventually I had to pay and leave. Sigh. At one point, when Sal ran into a snag with one of the connectors behind my faceplate, he called a friend from Ford and immediately figured out the problem...with no extra charge!
