I hate to leave a one star review because the dentists here are really good, but the billing department at Chastain is a complete joke. Don't EVER pay anything more to them than your insurance says you need to. They will hold it hostage as a credit until every last claim you have is filed, and you will STILL have to fight to get your money back. I wouldn't mind this process if they were timely, but they're not. Claims that required more information for insurance to process in NOV and DEC are STILL pending. I paid almost $600 in January when my service should have been free. They assured me once insurance came through I would be refunded no issue. Well... here we are in JUNE with no refund. The information Aetna requested wasn't even sent until I had Aetna call on my behalf... Once Aetna called, they had the info sent electronically almost instantly. I shouldn't have to do all this chasing down to get my money back. They also linked me and my wife's accounts without telling either of us so our credits can cover each other's costs. Not sure why or when this was decided for us? Either way, they need to do better. I will not be returning to 32 Dental Chastain. read more

I had a frustrating experience with 32 Dental, mostly around billing and the way treatment recommendations are presented. It felt like every visit came with "one more thing" that conveniently cost more money, and the overall vibe came across as financially motivated instead of patient-focused. In my case, a crown was recommended over multiple visits and it was not presented as urgent. I agreed to proceed based on a written treatment estimate that listed my expected patient responsibility. I paid at the time of service (actually more than the estimate), and then after the procedure I was told my insurance "didn't cover as much as expected" and I owed hundreds more (actually DOUBLE the estimate). That's not a small difference -- that's the kind of surprise that changes your decision to move forward. I do not recommend this dentist. The good news is there are plenty more dentists in Kennesaw to choose from. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Vo and Dr. Breckley for almost 20 years -- even before they opened their own practice. Their team treats you like family and have the utmost respect for every individual that walks into their locations. They're very punctual so you never wait to be seen if you're there on time and their receptionists are the best in the business -- very friendly and accommodating! Their work is very pristine and thorough. I won best smile as a senior superlative in HS and have been complimented about my teeth all my life (I'm 30 now). If I could give this place negative stars I would. I'm still healing from the wisdom teeth removal so I'll have to come back and update this. Updated: I expressed my concerns with being put to sleep because my dad had passed away shortly after getting his wisdom teeth removed. I guess I was looking for some compassion or reassurance for my choice to go with Novacan instead of the up sale of being put to sleep. The doctor responded with 'what does your dead father have to do with me?' The doctor twisted my neck so badly I can't turn my neck now. He also squeezed and pressed down on my cheeks and jaws so badly that they're bruised and swollen. It got so bad that at one point the dental assistant started arguing with the dentist about how to place my head (so my neck wouldn't twist so much) and that she could hold my head in place and he did not need to press down on my face so hard for leverage. While he was removing my top left wisdom tooth, the doctor yanked so forcefully that he lacerated my gum and shattered my molar. He had to drill the damaged tooth down and insert stitches. This is why I did not want to be put to sleep. I already didn't trust him to respect my body while sedated from his earlier comments. I saw him working on another patient before me and the doctor was significantly more gentle with the white man than with me. When I'm able to talk, I will be getting an attorne for the malpractice suit. read more

This dental practice is a scam. The dental hygienist told me that I had gingivitis even though my gums never bled. I went to a different dentist and he told me that my teeth and gums were In perfect shape, and that I didn't have gingivitis. They try to sell you services that you don't need. They tried to bill my insurance a year after the cleaning, and I was left to wonder why the waited too long to bill my insurance. They are scammers, stay away from them. read more

I came here one time and will never return. I feel like the dental hygienists are hired as part time sales associates, always trying to mark up my bill and sell me things I do not need. They gave me a "gingivitis" cleaning and then charged me extra for it without ever telling me prior. So unprofessional. Also telling me I have more cavities that need to be filled, when in reality, they don't because of how minuscule they are. They tried to tell me I had NINE cavities and trying to show me the tiny little specs on the x-rays made me laugh out loud honestly. I can confidently say this because I got a second opinion from another dentist who told me my teeth were in perfect condition. Upon reading the other 1 star reviews, it looks like their doctors do this to a lot of patients.... shame on you. Not to mention, I almost ALWAYS get push back from the front office when I need anything done... an appt canceled, records sent to me, etc. I'm honestly shocked this place has good reviews. I realize you guys lost a lot of business last year due to the pandemic, but trying to up-charge your patients who trust you as their medical professional is NOT the way to go. Went in for a cleaning and only got x-rays and told I need more than a normal cleaning, I need a deep cleaning and it isn't covered by insurance, so I needed to re-schedule. So they took my insurance for the x-rays and I got nothing. Won't be back sadly. Before making an appointment, my insurance company, 32 Brookstone Dental & I did a conference call confirming all my procedures were covered. Upon completing my appointment at checkout the office manager charged me full price. I shared with the manager this was a mistake, however she gave me pushback with a quiet self righteous dismissive attitude. After many phone calls, the charges were reversed. I recently started going to 32 Dental because the other practice I went to quit taking insurance. I am a huge baby when it comes to getting any kind of work done on my teeth. So much so I require Nitrous for my nervousness. I had to have a molar pulled from prior work from another dentist. I DID NOT take proper care of my teeth. Me, not anyone but myself is to blame. The tooth extraction was done by Dr. Huyhn at the Brookstone location around October 2021. He clearly stated to me all that would be done. The procedure, the pressure, the sounds I would hear. I had told him I did not require anesthesia. I told him no thank you, that I was trying to conserve funds. He said, "ARE YOU SURE?" He wanted to explain in detail. I listened and told him I was sure, none was needed. He proceeded. The procedure was done and over with in 15 mins. He was kind, compassionate, and clinical and thorough. My suggestion if you are having more than one tooth pulled, be sedated. If not, you can get through it. They called and checked on me the next day. I had no complications. As a matter of fact, my checks have been showing positive growth since removing the tooth from my mouth. I go to Mrs. Linda for my cleaning, she is amazing. So much so I will not be using nitrous the next cleaning. I am happy with the compassion and level of care I receive from 32 Dental. So much so, I have referred people here. I had high hopes for this practice, the doctors seem great and the hygienist is really good. Unfortunately they are plagued by the typical commercial upselling and focused more on the profits than the care. I was told I needed a periodontal cleaning that they verified pre cleaning my insurance would cover. I then received a bill for over 300.00 and they claimed insurance said it was out of network and wouldn't cover it. That is not good business in my opinion and unfortunately will not be returning to this practice. I called and attempted to have them meet me halfway or somehow offer any concession to the charges as I feel it was on them to confirm the information I was given was accurate, but I was basically told sorry for your luck, the bill is the bill. So I paid it, reluctantly, but that will come at the price of making others aware of my experience that will hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else. I discussed my situation with several other dentists, even from other states, and they said it appeared 32 Dental was pushing the highest end resoluation without offering another option. Two of my children have been going to 32 Dental, to date they have not been very accommodating and the annoying upselling. Last straw was most recent visit, got stuck in 575 traffic for son's 8am appointment, called and said we were going to be 10 minutes late. Pulled into the parking lot, 15 min post scheduled appointment time, and got a call that his appointment was cancelled. Tried explaining that we were in the parking lot. What I got can be best described as condescending and quite frankly rude. Made the decision then and there it was time to find a new dentist. read more

I wanted to change from my previous dentist to an in-network dentist, and one closer to where I live. 32 Dental is not the place. I went for a simple check up and cleaning, and they found a problem that my previous dentist had never mentioned at all. A problem that would cost me 350 dollars and three visits to fix. I thought, alright, but it will have to wait until next year, I don't have that much spare money for a non-emergency right now. Then they told me they wouldn't be able to clean my teeth, because with their diagnosis, the insurance company would refuse to pay for a cleaning until the diagnosis that morning was resolved. To recap: I went for a cleaning and check up, and what I got was a demand to shell out hundreds of dollars. Then several weeks later, they sent me an additional bill for the check up. Even my out-of-network dentist never charged me extra for a regular check up. I'm not even sure the diagnosis is correct. I intend to see another dentist to get a second opinion. But the pushiness, urgency, and lack of choices they presented it with is suspicious, and I can see on this Yelp thread that others have had similar experiences. 32 Dental is not the place. read more

Would absolutely give zero stars if I could. Avoid this place at all costs! I'm a student at Kennesaw State and recently saw an ad for them on campus. I started having pain in one of my back molars so I made an appointment to see the dentist and find out what was going on. The office itself is nice and the assistants do their job the best they can. Everything started going downhill when the extremely rude and uncaring male dentist told me I needed a crown. I couldn't believe it because usually a crown means a tooth is so badly damaged that it can't be saved with a filling. The treatment coordinator, who was an elderly lady, came to my room and promptly let me know that my total for the crown would be $1500. When I told her that I couldn't afford it she looked at me as If I was trash and she was clearly angry that I had "waisted their time" by not getting the crown. Despite being in pain the dental assistant told me to save up money and be back in a month or two. That was absolutely the last straw. Fast forward to the next day and I see a new dentist who tells me she can't understand how or why 32 dental suggested I get a crown. She did a simple filling and cleaned my teeth and I was out of her office in an hour. Do yourself a favor and avoid this toxic office! read more

Every six months I carefully seek the reassurance from knowledgeable professionals in the field of dentistery that my mouth is healthy. However, I am totally against businesses that use intimidation, misrepresentation and/or take advantage of the doctor/patient relationship for undue financial gain. I made an appointment for a cleaning, and the cost was confirmed for $150. However, a day before the appointment the office announced by telephone a new price $108 with the provision that additional charges might be added based on an examination. I questioned why I needed a another examination when Dr. Vo had already examined me in April. The examination was paid for by my insurance company and I. She was silent. She did not tell me that it was a periodontal examination. My teeth were thoroughly examined in April, again in May, by a highly qualified Endodontist and in June by a prominent Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.There was no diagnoses from any of these specialists of Periodontal disease or the need for a periodontal examination. I certainly would not have kept the appointment had I known what they had planned for me. Dr. Breckley also did not mention any signs of periodontal disease when I was treated by him in July and August for a new crown. From May to August I was examined by a total of four highly qualified professionals in the discipline of dentistry; two of which were medical doctors as well, and no periodontal disease was discovered. However, yesterday, September 12, 2018 Steve the hygienist was sure that I had periodontal disease. He came armed with his decision when he approached and asked me when was my last cleaning. My reply was not sufficient. He had not even looked in my mouth when he retorted that he had expected me to say that it had been more than a year. He had a resentful and condescending manner. More than half an hour had passed and he was still examining one side of my mouth. I complained because I was physically uncomfortable; the chair that I occupied had no support for the center of my back because the chair had separated. My back was hurting. The pain was compounded by the fact that I had scheduled a regular cleaning which was not in motion. I asked for two blankets; one for my back and one to cover my legs because I was wearing a dress. Steve brought one blanket and proceeded to cover me with it. I reminded him of my request for two blankets. He said, "yes." He then and proceeded to sit down and continued to stick my gums with his instrument, on the same side he had been working on before. I told him he was taking a long time and that I wanted to have a cleaning. He went to get Dr. Breckley who said that he was there to educate me about my gums. Bottom line is that they wanted to extract more than the $108 dollars from me. I told them that I only wanted a regular cleaning. Steve became belligerent when I insisted on having a cleaning and nothing more. He became disrespectful telling me that I should not tell him how to do his job. One hour had gone by and he was still sticking the same side of my mouth. I sat up and decided to leave. I would not allow them to take advantage of me anymore and wanted to leave this hostile environment. Steve was unprofessional and wanted to fight with me when he saw that I decided to leave. On the way home I became ill. I had never before experienced such blatant scamming or disrespect and disregard for the patient. Shame on all of you at 32 Dental for subjecting a patient to this type of treatment. Also, in August I gave the clerk $1,000.00 cash and did not receive from her all of the money that was due to me. I had to drive back to the office to retrieve my change. She apologized. I do not recommend them and would never go back to 32 Dental. The crown that Dr. Breckley did is uncomfortable. I told him about it, he examined it and did nothing. I give them a 32% rating and I guess they are in agreement!! Patient beware!! read more

REFERENCE 32 DENTAL LOCATED AT 1725 DENNIS KEMP LANE, KENNESAW, GA DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID. The sign in front of their new location read now excepting patients. I had already scheduled an appointment with my regular dentist that charges $250. for cleaning etc. I decided to call 32 Dental and compare price for the same service. They asked me for my Insurance information and told me they would call be back with a price after they checked my coverage. Several hours later they called and told me that the price would be around $125.00 so I made an appointment. I then called my regular dentist back and cancelled that appointment. The day of my 32 Dental appointment I arrived 15 minutes early and was greeted my the receptionist. She told me that they had made a mistake on the quote they gave me the price would not be $125 it would be $265. That really disturbed me but I decided to keep the appointment that day.She told me it would just be a few minutes which ended up being no less then 30 minutes past my scheduled 8:30appointment. . Finally I was taken back for the cleaning and required x-rays procedure. I was told the they were having trouble with the computers. The hygienist examined my teeth and told be I needed a Deep Cleaning and that they would be using a numbing topical instead nova cane injection. The numbing topical did not work so the dentist came in and numbed the areas. After the deep cleaning and the x-raying the UPSELLING BEGAN. Dr Vo came in and proceeded to complement me on the amount of money and what good care I have been doing reference my dental care. "Quote It is apparent that you care a lot about your overall appearance as well as your dental appearance. She then made reference the work out name brand outfit I had on as well. Dr Vo explained all of the things that needed to be addressed. She would also be giving me some sort of discount... On that day the things that I was charged for are as follows: Perio scaling and Root planning $125.X4= $500 Comprehensive Oral Eval $$96.00 bitewings Four radiograph $71.00 Periodontal Antibiotic Therapy $125.00 TOTAL___________________________$796. The following is a list of the things they say I need to address on the next several appoints Crown- Porcelain $1250 X 3 = $3750 BU $263. X 3 = $780 TOTAL_________________________$4539. This has to be the worst dental practice I have ever done business with. I have had 3 root canals and none have taken 4 total days. First my daughter was in the chair on the first day for 4 hours and was told they couldn't finish and she would have to return another day. So we return on the 2nd day in which they were going to charge another 90 for nitrous which I disputed. After spending another 4 hours in the chair they finally finished. I paid the total that I was told was my part which was over 1000 . So we were told they would call in a couple weeks to do the crown. Almost 4 weeks passed and I have to call them to schedule the appointment. Whoever I talk to told me that appointment should of been made same day as root canal. Ok so she returns to get the crown but they haven't even did the impression so now she has to return for a fourth visit and plus we still owe 290. Never been to dentist where after you pay for everything they come back and try to get more. So if you want to make 4 trips and spend over 1500 out of pocket for a root canal then I guess this is the place read more

The staff at 32 Dental is professional and friendly. However the Doctors are not so professional or friendly. I went in for a crown replacement and ended up in pain and having to chew on one side of my mouth for over 3 months. First crown from the lab was too small it just kept falling out of my mouth so they had to put in the temporary crown and send the request back to the lab. This time the Dr. said she would draw in where the adjustment will need to be made. Well needless to say that crown came back with one side too long, it hit my bottom tooth. This is where it all went really downhill for me. I was in pain because the crown was too long. I had to go back and forth to the dentist where they made adjustments to get that one side right. The finally got it to where it was not so painful but the bite was still off. They sent me to an Endodontist thinking I may need a root canal but nope that was not it, IT WAS THE CROWN. I went back and they now understood the issue was the crown. They sent the request back to the lab but this time they took the right impressions. The final crown came in from the lab. To make sure this crown was right, I had them test the bite and etc. This is where things got very bad. The doctor continued to talk about me to the assistance while I was lying there not able to talk. She complained about how many times I had come back and forth to get the crown adjusted and gave the assistant orders to take a picture of the crown and then just left the room. The assistant remained professional and took the pictures of the crown and ensured me that the crown looked good and the bite test was good. I told the assistant that she should not work in a place where she is talked to like that and I will not be coming back because of the way she talked about me as well. The doctor lacked to understand that I only came back to the dentist because the crown was painful and as a paying customer I have that right to do so. The pain was so bad that I was taking about 4 Aleve a day. I also let them know just like them I don't want to keep coming up to the office because of being in pain. read more

My family and I just moved here from NJ and hadn't found a chance to find a dentist for our four year old. Well she fell down at the Chikfila next door and knock her front tooth out. 32 was the closet dentist to us and thank heavens because they couldn't have been nicer! I walked in all shaken up with a crying and bloody child and they took us right in. They couldn't have been sweeter. They made us feel so warm and welcome. I'm almost thankful for her little accident bc I'm not sure we would have found this place otherwise! We're so grateful and could recommend 32 dental more! read more

Don't do business here they are quick to try to get you in but hide the actual cost of the procedures. I believe that they tell you false info on purpose just to get you in. I usually have a decent experience for it being a dentist visit. However, the hygienist Linda ruined my day. She is very condescending and aggressive with her cleanings. How many times can one dig a probe down into someone's gums and not expect the client to not feel uncomfortable? I was sore for the rest of the day. I really don't appreciate being talked down to as if I am a child. She actually had the nerve enough to say that she didn't know if I wasn't "getting what they were explaining to me as a diagnosis or if they staff tip toed around my diagnosis" ! I was done after that comment. Just because I'm dressed in my KSU gear don't get it twisted. You will respect me or I'll find a better facility elsewhere. I called back and told the receptionist to never schedule me with her again. I'm actually debating if I ever want to return ever. Professionalism and Customer service is a dying skill. I tried to give this place another chance but when the dentist tells you she has to take her daughter to dance in the middle of a procedure I lose all respect.... read more

I just got off the phone with Lisa at 32 Dental and they messed up on our Quote and charged us over 200.00 more than what was quoted. They told me I needed to do the research and talk to my insurance as to why I was charged more than what they covered. After speaking to the Insurance they said they upgraded the materials used for our procedure which brought the cost higher they also said 32 dental called and verified the amounts that the insurance would cover. These people are scamming you and hiding fee's and won't work with you threatening collections if you don't pay. SCAM and from a dentist. read more

The dentist themselves are capable and do a great job. The front office staff ruins the experience unfortunately. I was paying on my crown and had authorized payments of a certain amount to come out on a specific day of the month. I noticed that I was charged double without notice one month. Upon further investigation they had missed charging the previous month. It is unfortunate that I didn't catch that sooner, but it is unacceptable for them to charge anything different than what I authorized without my consent. They should have made contact with me and gotten authorization for the extra amount or tacked another month on to the end. Instead, they claimed it was my fault for not noticing. They refused to apologize for their error. That is unacceptable business practice. It is unfortunate a good dentist lost a patient because of their front office staff. read more

Everyone was nice and helpful. This office had the newest technology of any office I've been to. The bite wings didn't cause me to gag AT ALL. They took photographs of individual teeth so I could see the need to replace some fillings. Very informative and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a great dental office. read more

Dr. Vo and the team at Thirty-Two Dental have created a fantastic smile for me. At the age of 40, Dr. Vo worked with me on a couple of alternative treatment plans. The treatment plan included braces that were accompanied by the expertise of Dr. Vo's thorough dental care and collaboration with the orthodontist. After wearing braces for 25 months, Dr. Vo performed a bone graft and a bridge in the upper front that has kept a huge smile on my face every since!!
