Dr. Pomazon, at DentFirst, has been my dentist for more than 20 years. He is very detail oriented. He has done everything form multiple crowns to multiple implants suscessfully. He is the best dentist of my lifetime and I appreciate him, his staff and assistants very much. They work as a team there. I initially started going to this dental group because of Saturday convenience. I no longer recommend this unreliable dental group due to cancelling appointments at the last minute. Their Smyrna location inconveniently cancelled our appointments on 2 occasions. We switched to their Kennesaw location , and on the day of my oral surgery (30 minutes before my appt), they inconveniently cancelled. I am done patronizing a business that obviously has zero concern for the convenience of their clients! This seems to be a culture that is a company wide problem. Horrible experience. Waited almost an hour for the dentist to just check my teeth because the other location said I needed a filling and this location said they wanted to check them first. The dentist came in finally and asked if I floss and when I said yes I try proceeded to be a smart ass about how trying wasn't good enough and if I wanted my mouth to be filled with cavities I need to floss. & I've never met this dentist until today. So will not be going back to dent first and especially this location. Wouldn't recommend dr. Pomazon unless you like being talked down to like your stupid. read more

I wish I could give this office a ZERO, Very unprofessional office, Staff chuckles in the back of the office over work needed by patients. Communication here is terrible, no call backs. The Dentist is a bit sarcastic and made me feel very uncomfortable when discussing my consultation with him. Judgemental told me what he think I can & can not afford instead of leaving those options up to me. I'm not sure who he think he is but it's really rude to come off with this type of attitude, Lead by example. The Facelifts and Botox is really messing with this Dr'a head and makes him feel things like this is ok. This office gives off a very uncomfortable vibe I will never return, I will not recommend this office if your a private person. Medical Assistants will discuss all of your procedures behind the desk in a open area for all to hear. No privacy here!!! read more

My first time at this location. I normally go to the Smyrna location but decided to come here since it was closer. Right off I had some trouble with the receptionist Jennifer. I told her I needed to update my medical history and she said well you can fill it out if your comfortable. I was super confused. I went to explain I have new medications and things that I can no longer take. Another young lady intervened nicely and said yes you would need to fill out the paper work please. Jennifer then got kind of snappy like her tone and everything was rude. She handed me the paper work and was like well since your early you can fill the paper work out. In addition since this is my first time at this dentist the dentist had to take xrays but check this out he told me I needed to schedule to get my crown re filled. They were nice and I didn't have to wait longer than 2 minutes, they give discounts and made sure i got everything I needed.

I would NEVER set foot in DentFirst every again! After a routine cleaning, I was told that I needed a filling. I scheduled a 7pm appointment for my filling. When I called to confirm, the receptionist told me they had an opening at 6 and asked me to come in then instead. I agreed. When I got there I was taken right back and given novocaine. Then an HOUR later the dentist came in the room and told me that I should have come at 7, which was my appointment time and she took a walk in person instead of helping me out. She was ARGUING with me about my appointment time. Then after she filled my tooth I had so much pain in the tooth that I couldn't eat anything on the left side of my mouth. I came back a week later and the denitst told me that she forgot to file the tooth down, which was the cause of the pain. So she filed it down, but that didn't stop the pain. I went back in for a third time due to the pain and again had to wait an hour to be seen. The dentist came in and took one look at me and said she didn't know what the problem was and that I needed to go somewhere else! I have NEVER been treated so badly by a dentist and I would NEVER suggest ANYONE go to this dentist. She is VERY unprofessional and rude. I hope this helps warn people to stay away! read more

My family has been going to Dentfirst for years. My daughter and I have not had problems as we haven't ever had cavities. My husband has hereditary bad teeth and Dentfirst has made his issues a string of nightmares. He has had several crowns done. Consistently there are issues. Once- his dentist was running an hour late so he had to reschedule. When he came back, the crown didn't fit his tooth so he had to come back a fourth time to get a crown that fit. His temporary crown popped off, then the permanent crown popped off and we had to pay for a replacement. We twice have been overcharged $160 for the crown. We received credits but you would think they would know how much to charge us after it happened once. If you have good teeth, this is not a bad place to go. Go anywhere else if you want crowns that will last for more than 2 years. read more

The plus side: The dentist and technical dental staff did good work to fix my broken tooth. The BAD side: Their billing was a nightmare! I was given a copay when I started based on the insurance I gave them which I paid. Then they figured out I had 'good' insurance and the costs started going up! I contact my insurance company who said they had paid according to the agreement and that Dent 1st actually owned me money! I still get bills from them while in fact they owe me money...its been 8 months and the situation isn't resolved. I would recommend finding someone else first unless you enjoy being overbilled. read more

I am a new patient here and at first it was a bit frustration you see I have two insurance company and every time I went in, it was always something. After talking with the office manager I hope it is taken care of, I will let you all know next visit, but the Samuel Richter, RDH did a good job cleaning and attention to detail, Dr. Pomazon was great also I would recommend the both of them.
