Hmm... where to start…read more The woman at the front desk, I believe her name was Rachel, was extremely rude when giving me the quote for a temporary crown. While I was signing the paperwork, she snatched it out of my hands, made a copy, and practically threw the copy back at me. After my root canal, I went to Dr. Smith for a temporary crown and what I was told would be a minor repair to a broken filling. The entire procedure took nearly three hours, and I left in more pain than I had after the root canal itself. My mouth was sore for almost two weeks afterward. When I returned for the permanent crown, I was told the appointment would take 30-45 minutes at most. Instead, I was in the dental chair for two hours. After the crown was placed, my teeth were cemented together to the point that I couldn't floss between them. I'm also pregnant, so while I understood the need for one X-ray, they ended up taking four and still could not remove all of the cement between my teeth. They asked me to return in 2-3 weeks, but at this point I will not be going back. I now have to see another dentist to correct the issue. Additionally, while trying to remove the cement, the dentist flossed so aggressively against my gums and the side of my mouth that it left my mouth extremely irritated and even caused a scar on the outside of my mouth. Overall, this was one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had.

They insisted I needed to come in for an $85 exam to determine IF I would need a referral. "We're gonna need to charge ya a hundred bucks to tell ya if we sell skittles or not." Additionally at that same time I went to a gum specialist who said I needed gum surgery. So I shopped around. At Olde Mill agreed with the need for three crowns but disagreed with my needing gum surgery. A year has passed, my gums are fine, all three crowns have been completed (using the best materials) and my savings on the 3 crowns come close to $3000 and my savings on the avoidance of gum surgery is also in the thousands. Reading the negative reviews is quite puzzling, perhaps I am in the twilight zone!

I love the receptionist she has always been nothing but polite and very nice . However they have new staff here since my last visit . I go to the back mind you my appointment was set for 4 pm I got there by 3:30 pm .
