I even put up with the fact that I told them repeatedly - t-shirts need to be folded so you can see the front - not the back (most t-shirts have writing on the front not the back)... They kept messing that up - and then I kept having to re-do it when I got home. So what is the point of paying for wash and fold (two services) - when I had to do one of them over after coming home??? HAVING SAID THAT... Recently, not only did they raise their prices but they actually couldn't explain the ticket! Turns out they were charging me a dollar more. Then the nasty lady had the audacity to give ME attitude for questioning why the math didn't add up. (27 x 0.90 = $24.30 not $25.30) Now if this is some kind of nonsense one dollar charge for doing business there - then they should say "$0.90/lb, $10 min plus $1 charge for our smile" or whatever - it was total nonsense. Nasty lady, wrong work, AND untrustworthy?? I am done with this place.

I was a loyal customer of San Toy for years and always thought they did an adequate enough job, although the store is dusty and my clothes would often return smelling musty as well. A couple weeks ago, I bought them a vintage Versace striped shirt that had some very minor ink bleeding in a few spots. I asked the man who generally works in the front if, in his professional opinion, this could be fixed and he said they would give it a try. When I came to pick it up a few days later, they had completely and utterly ruined the shirt. What had been some minor bleeding in a couple discrete spots was now all over the shirt rendering it, a completely irreplaceable item, totally unwearable. While he offered to "try again," I no longer trusted them and instead, found a higher end, designer-focussed dry cleaner to see if they could possibly fix what San Toy had done. As any good business should, they assessed the shirt and let me know that it was, unfortunately, unfixable and any further work would only make the bleeding worse. I then brought the shirt back to San Toy as I believed I should be compensated for them having ruined the item. I personally think they should have offered to pay for the entire cost of the shirt, but I would have accepted pretty much anything as a gesture of good will. I walked in to calmly speak about this with the man in the front and who, as I mentioned, I have brought clothes to for years. He immediately flew of the handle, yelling at me to bring it back to the store (I told him it was a vintage piece from The Real Real so there was no store), that there was no way he would pay me a dime, that I could pay HIM to try again (LOL!) and then ultimately started screaming repeatedly, "TAKE ME TO COURT I DON'T CARE!" I am flabbergasted not only by San Toy's hack dry cleaning but also by their lack of accountability and care for their customers. There's a zillion dry cleaners in Park Slope and I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. This place sucks.

It seems that there are always machines out of service & the ones that may be available am often have restrictions on settings. Their washing machines are super powerful & are done in under 25 minutes which I thought was neat at first, until all my underwear elastic was ruined & I got holes in multiple clothing items because they're too powerful. I never had thought much about laundromats in any BK neighborhood before this & now I hold anger toward this one for ruining my clothes. I hate that I have to go to a farther laundromat because of this but it's not worth having my clothes ruined here.

1/13/13 Have been…read moregoing to this laundromat for the past 8 months. I'm used to living places with washers and dryers so this is my first time having my "own" laundry place. I have never come here to actually do my laundry, so this review is based entirely on their drop-off services. What I like the most about the business is that they seem to be pretty quick. I usually drop my clothes off in the morning and if I stop by at the end of the work day my clothes will be done. Your receipt will also give you an estimated time of completion, but they are usually conservative with what they put on your receipt and if you call ahead will let you know the status of your order. Worth noting is that depending on who is there your clothes will be folded differently. One of the guys folds all my shirts inside out, which may annoy some, but I don't care. They also just put all of your socks in a bag. Finally, while I don't have much to compare it to, the prices seem reasonable to me. I have attached a picture of the "menu." At the moment it is $6.50 for 1-8 pounds and an extra .60c per pound after that.
