Spokehouse ordered a new controller, then the issue became that the headlight got brighter when braking, so not fixed. I had been in communication with Aventon and printed off suggestions from them and took it to the bike shop. Not only did the young man summarily dismiss one of Aventon's suggestions, he added he didn't know what the problem was, was in no hurry to find out as warranty work does't pay well and he chastised me for him loosing 5 minutes that he could have used to fix the bike he was currently working on. He even encouraged me to take the bike elsewhere which of course would void my warranty. Rude rude rude! Once I got my bike back, rest assured I will never do business with them again!

We rented two Marin Sausalito E1 e-bikes and they were perfect for cruising around the city. The bikes had smooth pedal assist that made our 36-mile ride feel effortless, especially with Tulsa's mix of river trails and city streets. We even brought our own seats for extra comfort and the staff had no problem mounting them for us. They also provided locks, front and rear lights for night riding, and chargers so we could juice up the batteries overnight. When we arrived to pick up the bikes, we actually bumped into Tom (yes, the Tom!) heading out at the same time. He ended up riding with us along part of the RiverParks Trail and gave us some amazing local tips--including a few great restaurant recommendations and cool stops to check out along the way. This shop gets five stars from us. The bikes were top-notch, the service was outstanding, and the entire rental experience was smooth from start to finish. I appreciate suggestions like that. He could have just said the unit is dead, replaced it and charged me more money. I purchased a replacement radio and it didn't work either, so I knew it was something else. I made an appointment for them to correct the problem. They stated their hourly rate and I agreed to the repair. I received a call less than an hour later saying they found the problem and had it fixed. When I went back to the shop to pick the motorhome up, I found out they only charged me for less than their hourly minimum. That's awesome customer service. When I'm ready to have any audio upgrades on any of my vehicles, this will be my go to place.
