Screw this place and all its employees!! I got a flat tire out on a ride, i called this place about ordering a new tire and tube, . They were Asssssssholes on the phone and refused to help because I had a Chinese bike, and they didn't sell it to me! when I said i had a Chinese ebike! They totally refused to help me or order a dawned part part for me! I hope they crash and burn and will do everything to make it so. Had two gifted trikes poorly assembled by family members, ie unusable, reassembled for $75ea. They now run smooth and straight with brakes! A huge improvement! Next up is to get a boxed bike assembled for $100 for the fall when it's not 100°F+. read more

I would recommend the creepy guy selling candy to kids before I would recommend this phat tire location. I rented two bikes yesterday at 4pm, the associate confirmed that if I returned the bikes today, I would only be charged $15/bike extra. Today, they charged me an additional $152 instead. They claimed the derailleur on one of the bikes was damaged and refused to tell me how much until after I agreed to authorize the new charges. Then proceeded to tack on another day's worth of rental fees just because they thought they could. I will be disputing these charges with my bank. read more

I've stopped by twice over the past few weeks for minor parts for my son's bike. The first time the staff showed me how to DIY what I was trying to do; no purchase or labor charge needed, which I appreciated. Nice gesture! I had some older bikes that just needed tubes put in and training wheels put on. One of the bike we decided wasn't worth putting training wheels on because the brakes wouldn't work. I appreciate honesty. The tube was put in$12 and I have a back up bike. No worries. The other bike had two tubes put on, did the training wheels. There was an issue however.. before I left the store the tube had gone flat. They fixed it and by the time I got home it was empty again. The next day another kid helped me and he says oh. The tire is bad. We need to replace the tire and the tube. $80 later and the entire bike was still messed up. The guy at the store told me I needed to throw the bike away. Rude and disrespectful. This was by far the worst experience I've had getting a tune up. After stating I simply wanted to reseal my tubeless tires and true my rims, the manager tries to upsell me a rear cassette and chain. He then tells me it will take 1 1/2 weeks. I agree to leave it and upgrade the cassete and chain. He calls me a week later trying to sell me new tires. I decline and I never hear back. After 2 weeks I call to see if my bike is ready. They reply, "It's been ready". When I pick it up, they charge me for the new cassette and chain and only clean up my old ones to make look like new. This is not a legitimate business, these people are crooks. read more

I would highly encourage anyone with a bike issue to use another shop. My brother has taken his brand new Checkpoint into this shop for 6 months to address a shifting issue. Each time they pretended to fix the bike, blamed his shifting, or they also claimed they couldn't replicate the issue. When I looked at the bike I found a very obvious misalignment on the front derailleur and was able to witness the issues. So I took a picture of the derailleur incase they blew me off and bought the bike into see Alex. Alex took the bike back where I couldn't see him work and fairly quickly returned it to me claiming he fixed it. So I took the bike outside and found the front derailleur had not been touched. The shifting issue still present. Fortunately I have had good experiences with Phat Tire in the past so I looked up another shop and spoke to their service manger Kevin. Kevin deserves a 5/5 star review. He put the bike on a stand in front of me and addressed several issues. I hate to leave a negative review about this shop, but I had such a bad experience I wanted to warn other people. Alex obviously didn't look at the bike at any level of depth. He blew me off, ignored my request to align the front derailleur, and pretended he did something. The only positive thing I can say here is he didn't charge me for work he didn't do. So be warned especially if you are a new cyclist like my brother. This shop will assume you don't know what you are talking about and won't truly care if your new bike works. Luckily I can highly recommend going to the Phat Tire in Broken Arrow. read more

My wife and I had an excellent bike rental experience here. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bikes were perfect for what we wanted to do. A little farther south than some of the other bike rental places but well worth it for cruising up and down the riverside paths and trails. read more

I bought a used bike from this store, completely prepared for mechanical issues I might find, however. I called the store because the front forks wouldn't compress at all the very next day after I bought it. I am completely new to cycling, so I was hoping to call the store and find a simple fix to my issue. They had me bring it in so they could take a look at it. and they did exactly that. One of the employees took one look at it from about 6 feet away and states "Its broke" "Its pre owned, what do you want me to do?". Really all I wanted was verification that it was indeed broke, and told that there were no simple solution to my problem if such were the case. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but as the conversation continued he went on to tell me just how overworked and understaffed he was as an essential employee. From the beginning of the conversation he was very short, very unwelcoming, and downright rude. I don't know what I did to hurt this employees feelings, but I hope his future interactions with customers aren't anything like the one he had with me. read more
