Like most retail stores, they go through personnel like water, but I have no clue if it is due to management, school, or whatever. I have usually always had pleasant experiences here and the staff is jolly or at the very least helpful. If you ask someone for help, they're willing to assist and they don't make that covert annoyed face that retail staff are known to make. The staff I've encountered are very knowledgeable about things that I ask them about and even suggest what is comparable to the items. There have been several times I was aggressively loyal to a product and someone on the team introduced me to something else that has now become my staple. Not certain why this location has such poor ratings. I've tested their consistency in helpfulness on plenty occasions and they're pretty solid. (eg. I've entered wearing being very dressed up and full face of makeup, or wearing a bare face and workout clothes, or business suit, or bare face and bummy clothes, or simply looking haggard... There's always someone willing to help)

Lush has always been one of my favourite stores for all the different girly stuff they have -especially their famous bath bombs and cosmetics and whatnot. The girls here are adorable! They seem to employ the nicest people at any given Lush store. Even in a sugary-but-not-sweet land where not that many people are nice anymore, they seem to find the nice ones and employ them. So congratulations to them for that. A great location and a little expensive, but when there's a sale on it's well worth a visit.

The tester items are clearly marked with red tape and are clean. They also offer makeup wipes so you can clean off your tester hand. Go check this place out. You never know what you might find!

Avoid JCPenney's online jewelry protection plans--total nightmare!…read moreI purchased a necklace online along with a lifetime protection plan. I picked the item up via curbside, but realized immediately it wasn't right and returned it to the store within minutes of it being brought to my car. While the necklace refund was processed, the jewelry department supervisor refused to refund the protection plan. She told me I had to call an "800 number" found in my email receipt to get my money back. I checked my email thoroughly; neither a company name nor a phone number was listed anywhere. After I insisted multiple times, she finally made a call and gave me a number for the insurance, but not yhr name of the company. When I called the company (Asurion) the next day, they informed me that they cannot process an immediate refund. Instead, I have to send an email request and wait for them to mail me a physical check. This is absolutely unacceptable. A warranty should be automatically cancelled and refunded the moment the product is returned to the store. Save yourself the headache and do not buy their protection plans online. Once they have your money, they make it as difficult as possible to get it back.

Trying to cool down and doing some window shopping. I remember JC Penney stores was my go-to place for fashion. Then, something happened... oh I remember now. They stopped sending me coupons. Today, there were only a few department stores left. Today, I went to revisit this so-called department store with a high expectation. One big problem I have with this JC Penney is the signage. I was clueless as where they put men's clothes. Unlike Macy's and other department stores, there are signs at the escalator as which floor sells what. But not this one. I walked all over the women's department and decided to try 2nd level. Bummer. Men's department only filled half of floor space. Not much to shop there, except the clearance aisles. After my initial navigation, I think I remember where is what on the 2nd level. I will return when I need something fancy.

I called the customer service line to get help with my rewards program and was helped by a great associate named Jennifer (10/9/22 at 5:30 p.m. CT).
