Absolutely amazing sunset! Be sure to arrive at least 30/60 minutes before the sunset for the best views and extra time just in case you struggle climbing cliffs, ok ok not a cliff but a mountain with big rocks, big ole rocks! Tips for your future success: - can be romantic if planned correctly - wear tennis shoes - dress for the season - use the potty before you arrive - plan for a short trip if you have children, there is not much to keep their attention besides the bottom of the cliff (and of course that makes for nervous Mommie!!! How can Mommie enjoy all of herself trying to make sure that little Timmy does not throw his Tonka truck or himself over the edge!!!) - pack a backpack with hand sanitizer, baby wipes, extra napkins, water, snacks, adult beverages , and a blanket you don't mind getting dirty **** Please take your trash with you, there are no trash can receptacles, maids, or volunteers to clean up after visitors!

Not even 8am and traffic backed up on 360

This has got to be one of the prettiest highways in Austin. Yes, there are some office building but they are tucked back and partially hidden by trees. Yes, it backs up with traffic during rush hours but nothing as bad as Mopac or 35. The roads are paved with no potholes. It has lots of traffic lights but it gives you time to take in the surrounding. The best part is this is the road that takes you over the Pennybacker bridge.

My most favorite drive in Austin and an absolute must every time I'm in town. The scenery is just splendid. I remember quite a few drives by myself when I needed a break from life while living here. The bridge is so beautiful and the view from both sides just stunning.

Spent our morning taking in the beautiful scenery. Being at the top felt so good and rewarding. Parking was confusing. But worth it. Look at this view!

Really easy to miss - here's the exact location though: Apple Maps: https://maps.apple.com/?address=1601%E2%80%931735%20N%20Capital%20of%20Texas%20Hwy,%20Austin,%20TX%20%2078746,%20United%20States&ll=30.318938,-97.820186&q=Marked%20Location&_ext=EiQpQoZyVYs6PkAxSigbDS57WMA5Eb87BLtoPkBB18sAys1tWMA%3D&t=m Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/V8D5MxpzEno Hope this helps :)

This is great! The overlook is a quick 5 minute hike up a pretty easy incline. The view is to die for! You can see downtown in the distance and of course the bridge. I love sitting at the top and watching all the boats pass by on a nice day! It's a great spot to get photos or just relax.

Parking is on the right.... right before you get to the bridge. Slow down because you can miss it! Wear comfortable gym shoes because the hike is a steep one. It's a 5 minute hike until you reach the top for the spectacular view. Its two sides you can climb up. The rugged and steep incline makes the hike up dangerous. My friend fell and hurt her wrist. It's a path to walk along the highway as well for another view of the bridge.

Didn't realize at first that there was a small trail on the side. Make sure you have shoes on and comfy clothes cause the trail has large rocks that you have to climb to get to the top of the cliff. The climb up is so worth it! The view is just breathtaking!! After you reach the top you can keep walking to get different views. It's so nice and beautiful to be up there, just wish it was a bit warmer so I could stay up there longer. I would definitely go up again and recommend it to anyone

I use 360 some, some of my places I need to go are off 360, it is a pretty drive, I do like the 360 Bridge. But it does get crowded.

Kudos to Alamo for being the pioneer in offering food and drink while watching movies. While they…read morestarted with pencil and paper ordering, they have now upgraded to scanning a QR code to order online through the menu. Very .easy and convenient! Not only do they have good food and "bottomless" popcorn bowls, they also sponsor fun preview events to their special Victory fan club members, of which I am one. Last night they previewed the movie "Power Ballad," an excellent film starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas. Often they have special guests to introduce the movie and offer fun contests. At the Power Ballad preview, they awarded a guitar to the first person to jump up and name the director (John Carney). I didn't win. The theater is definitely geared to film buffs and not the normal blockbuster movie goer, with posters from current and classic films decorating the walls. They even have the scary twins from "The Shining" in one of the hallways. You won't see that at any multiplex movie theater!

This saddens me. I have written a bad review for you guys before, but hoped I could leave a new and…read moreimproved one. My relationship with Alamo has been long, like I've gone since Spike and Mike's used to do sick and twisted festival of animation events. It's my go to. It's my don't-go-to-other-theaters-out-of-loyalty spot. The last few times have been beyond subpar. I didn't want to believe it was over. Tonight, I went for Spiderman at 11:30 PM. I've been promising this to my husband as a date night. It was the one and only time we had a sitter (we have a 6 week old child and a 1.5 year old - so it's been a while since date night). Husband is service industry, and it was literally the only time we had a sitter after he was off of work. We ubered to Alamo, which cost about $13. We paid for the sitter. We get to Alamo and they're closed. We get shit happens, but let Victory members know in advance. Even a 30 minute heads up would have saved us an uber ride or allowed us time to find tickets elsewhere or have a date alternative. Nothing. The staff were apologetic, but didn't seem all that concerned about it. They told me I'd get a refund, that's it. No vouchers to another show. No voucher for food/drinks. The vouchers were sitting in front of the cashier and would have made a world of difference, but she acted indifferent and never offered them. Just a "yeah sorry, you'll get a refund in 3-5 business days". What about the refund for the time, ubers to/from, and sitter? That's where vouchers could have somewhat saved the day. It wasn't important to staff or Alamo because it wasn't their time, ubers, babysitters, or incredibly needed date night. I wasn't even a Karen about it. I tried to tell her I'm sorry she had to deal with issues at the theater and that it probably sucked for staff as much as it does customers, so I get it. Not her fault. She just acted very WHATEVER. RIP Alamo. We will not be back. This could have been fixed, but it wasn't and there was no real effort. They have my email from my Victory account, so why no heads up so we could try to catch the film elsewhere? Why no extra effort to give vouchers? Hell, if we got to the counter and were told the card on file was refunded, that tiny effort would have been something. Alamo was built for people who LOVE cinema. It had a loyal following, but everything that we loved about it is dead and gone. It's sad seeing the current "Alamo" corpse be paraded like Weekend at Bernie's. So instead, we will stream at home once it's available. We will partake in what's killing cinema because Alamo just killed it for us. Thanks but no thanks.

The "I Love You So Much" mural is one of Austin's most photographed and widely recognized pieces of street art. It is located on the side of Jo's Coffee at 1300 South Congress Avenue in the city's South Congress neighborhood. The mural features a simple message, "I love you so much", painted in red cursive letters on a light green wall. The mural has become a symbol of love we have for each other, connection to each other as well as the connection to the city, and Austin's love for all. The mural was created in 2010 by Amy Cook, a local Austin musician. According to the word on the streets, Cook spray painted the message as a heartfelt expression of love for her partner, Liz Lambert, who is affiliated with Jo's Coffee. Now this sign serves a love note to all that visit Austin.
