Hey hey Adventurers! I've been here twice--one for a tasting and for date night, both times were awesome. This time around I brought a guy friend who'd never been and he loved it. We did the sample tasting like last time, and I ordered the liqueur tasting. My favorite ended up being their versions of limoncello and coffee(Kofi) liqueur. Both are very sweet and heavy but would taste so good mixed with other drinks. I ended up buying the kofi liqueur, limoncello, and the gin to take home. We ordered the East Side and the Tomtka which I believe they discontinued. I also got the 3BR Dirty Martini, which is served with a gherkin, which was so good. I'm determined to try all the martini's wherever I go, and this was perfect. Perfect flavors blended with just enough dirtiness. It's a BYOF, which is great for when you're drinking these tasty cocktails. There are two pizza spots you can order from and they'll delivery to you. The bartenders also make sure your water is constantly filled so you are hydrated. Highly recommend doing the tastings and learning about the history where the bar came from. read more

I went here for the first time for a tasting event. I ended up staying and ordering a cocktail. This is a cute bar and distillery. All of their spirits are uniquely made with soviet ingredients. Their mendel vodka is distilled with peas, which i thought was a fun fact. I'm not a fan of all spirits and generally stick with tequila. But all of their spirits were really smooth. I tried their master margarita made with their tequila and it features passionfruit. It was delicious. It had a tart yet sweet citrus flavor. I love how i just had to scan a barcode with my designated barseat and open a tab, view the menu, order, and pay on my phone. If you're not tech savvy, then order a drink the traditional way. The business is BYOF, meaning no food is served, but you can come into establishment with food purchased elsewhere. One of the bartenders said there is a pizzeria nearby that will actually bring the pizza into 3BR if you call it in. The staff is really nice and all of them gave great suggestions for picking a drink. They had live music while I was there as well. The distillery also has street parking available. It seemed like a fun time there. I'd love to come by again, especially in the fall. read more

Let me say, that I have only been here a few time because I'm a recluse, I hate to leave my house. But, if I was going to venture out for cocktails, this is where I'd go. The decor is great, so different from the cookie cutter nonsense at the other local places. The drinks are amazing, if you like a properly poured drink. If you want a heavy pour, because you want to be wasted by your second drink, go to Friday's. If you actually know about alcohol and want something well made and balanced, this is where to go. I really love that you can bring your own food! A lot of local, walkable to here, restaurants have vegan options. Grab food and head over here for a great date night vibe. Also, I have to add, that I mentioned to one of the owners that they had a few coffee drinks listed that don't mention they contain dairy, and when he said he'd fix it, I thought he was blowing me off. Totally wasn't. He updated the information immediately! I really appreciate the level of customer service here. Everyone is always friendly and I've never had a bad experience. I went for a private party and I had a good time. I enjoyed seeing the distillery behind the bar. I liked the drinks a little better than another local distillery. The employees were capable and kind. My only problem is with the parking. There is a large lot behind but it's shared by a lot of surrounding businesses and restaurants. So parking could be an issue if you don't luck out with the parking gods for an evening out. But if you are in the area I would definitely give them a try. read more

Made a reservation here for my girlfriend's 21st (!) birthday weeks in advance, spoke to someone on the phone who told me they'd happily reserve an area of the bar for us, and that we should bring any food and decorations we wanted. We arrived to find that our reservation had been cancelled for a party renting out the whole bar with no attempt to contact us at all. We had 8+ people coming from 40 minutes away outside in the cold stranded with no where to go. Up to the moment of writing this, my reservation status is still confirmed and approved. The owner kept on telling me about how they use two reservation systems and conveniently "stopped checking" the reservation system they put us on, despite the fact that I spoke to multiple people on the phone, and have multiple confirmation emails. We asked if they could recommend any bars in the area, to which they tried to send us to establishments that were 45+ minutes away, or where we wouldn't have a table for another hour. Just know if you make a reservation here, it means nothing when a larger party flashes a little cash. But don't worry, the staff will have plenty of nameless/faceless excuses like the owner telling me this is what happens when he puts "other people in control". Save your special occasions by avoiding 3BR at all costs. There's always the next 21st... oh wait, no there isn't. p.s. Let me know if anyone has any ideas of what I can do with $80 worth of party supplies. read more

My wife and I have been to 3BR a few times now. We always find the staff friendly and professional at the same time. We have also attend "special" events there. A Korean food and cocktail pairing and a DIY gin making event. Both were fun and unique events. The. neighborhood is fun for window shopping. On a nice day a walk down by the water is pleasant. But back to 3BR; they are involved with the community. They don't serve food at the distillery, but if you bring food from a local restaurant 3BR will give you a discount on your drinks. Very nice policy. Live jazz on Saturday nights. Bingo and trivia nights. It all adds up to a good place to visit. read more

Excellent distillery with amazing cocktails and drinks. We did the sample tasting menu and you get to try 5-8 different liquors. Some were very delicious, and some were not for me. The co-owners are very kind here and invest a lot of time teaching you their techniques, the different flavors, and how they distill it. I almost threw up after a shot of pea vodka. Horrendous. We gave the bottle to Warren "Home Skillet" he wouldn't even touch it. I was excited to have a distillery open in Keyport. A great find in Keyport just off Main Street. Comfortable seating in a spacious room and a welcoming long bar is perfect to enjoy a special drink from the bartenders. Did the tasting with one of the brother owners who told us the family history and how they made the liquor from an old family recipe (peas). Bought a bottles - plain vodka, lime liquor (great on the rocks or as a mixer and the coffee liquor (will go well on ice or with a little milk/cream). No food, so you can order locally and have it delivered. Everyone was very friendly and appreciative to all the patrons. Will come back with friends. read more

While I was in New Jersey last week, my buddies and I decided to stop by for some drinks. We stopped on July 4th and they were closed, the head distiller Aleks informed us that they were closed for the holiday and would reopen a few days later. We told him that we were from Indiana and just wanted to buy a few bottles of their spirits to take back home before we left for Indiana. He was kind enough to invite us in and give us a tasting of the spirits 3BR has to offer, even when they were closed. Aleks went through the spirits as well as the history and inspiration behind 3BR which we totally appreciated. 3BR produces spirits inspired by the soft alcohol prohibition placed by the Soviet Union in the 80s by using garden peas and other ingredients to create Soviet inspired vodka, rum, and even agave. During the soft prohibition people were limited to very few bottles of alcohol per month hence the name, 3 Bottles or Riot! I absolutely can't wait to go back and visit again especially after the fantastic hospitality of Aleks and his crew. We picked up a few bottles to take back with us and they surely did not disappoint. I highly recommend stopping by if any of y'all are out on the east coast! read more

Have been to 3BR a couple of times. I absolutely love it there. The entire staff is so nice, the drinks are great, although for the price I wish they would fill your glass, it's a great atmosphere. Stumbled on this place on tiktok and decided to take the drive down to check it out. We went on a Saturday afternoon so street parking was no problem. I assume at night it's much more crowded. The inside was sick! Loved the art installations and overall decor. The distillery is exposed behind the bar which is truly a sight! We tried several of their drinks including the spicy take, Paloma, master margarita, dapper dandy, dandi-Roni, sassy little tart, and the baba's smoking pipe. Everything was delicious. We also ordered the artisanal chocolates but they were too pretty to eat so those will need a separate review. This distillery is BYOF (bring your own food) so we stopped at Keyport fishery down the street and brought some stuff to munch on but I'm sure you could bring just about anything. The owner Alex gave us a rundown of the concept and history behind this place which was awesome. The service was great and the music was fantastic.
