Oh boy! What a disaster this restaurant is. Food was bad, asked them to make it multiple times and yet they got it wrong. Raw veggies were used. Service is so slow that I felt like I aged 5 years.servers just want to chit chat and not work with bad attitude. This server literally cursed in Spanish when I called him (I do know Spanish). Ambiance is ok not like authentic Mexican food and NOT like viva's other franchises. What a shame. They don't even apologize.

    Jalapeño margaritas. Delicious!!!

The service was fantastic. We sat at the bar. Margaritas were yummy. I had a chimichanga. No meat being a pescatarian. Fantastic! They have plant based chorizo which was phenomenal. I will definitely be back and get the plant based chorizo in my meal. Great experience! Come here! Such a friendly staff and laid back atmosphere.

Hidden gem attached to Holiday inn. So many margarita options to choose from and food was pretty good but the drinks are the show here. Went for a casual Friday night out and it was a good time. They have a lady walking around who takes pictures with the option to buy. It was just a little noisy because the place was packed out. Other than that. It was a good time.

3BR is the best bar in Central Jersey, and my absolute favorite bar in the world. I said what I…read moresaid. And I thank Yelp for introducing me to this beautiful, unique, gem of a place. Gosh, where do I begin? First off, they make all their alcohol in-house which is just SO COOL. Behind the bar, is a glass wall so you can see all the machinery used to brew it. The owners are extremely passionate about their product and you can taste it in their drinks! Every cocktail is delectable and so thoughtfully made. They also host events every month, all throughout the month! I've been going to trivia and bingo nights and it's so fun! Plus the decor and theme of the whole place is AWESOME. So much history and storytelling everywhere you turn. I will never ever stop yodeling to everyone about how insanely cool this bar is. Bring your friends, bring your food and I promise you'll fall madly in love with 3BR!

My husband brought me here once before,…read morethis was our second visit, and we will definitely be back for an upcoming recurring event we learned about. When you drive past, you might not exactly know it's there- almost looks like a warehouse or closed shop when passing by. It is dark and gives speak-easy vibes. When you enter, it looks like you time traveled into the old USSR with Soviet decor. We had the horseradish shots (spicy to the perfect level- not the kind that makes your nose burn), my husband had some kind of hibiscus or fruity drink, and I had the extra dirty martini. LOVED the pickle stuffed olives that came with my drink. I selected the gin, but would opt for the vodka version next time to see if I could taste more olives. Our server was incredibly friendly, and when we asked about bloody Mary's, he mentioned that on certain weekends for $25 you can pay to get in and drink bloody Mary's and have Oysters. We will certainly be coming by to try! Overall, such a unique, off the beaten path experience. 10/10 recommend.

Came for the Tasting menu experience, at the Chefs counter. Was quite happy with the visit…read more It's a nice restaurant inside, although located within a random strip mall. The parking was actually full when we arrived, possibly because of the bar using the same lot. But there is an elevated connected lot for the bowling alley that has plenty of parking. I have to say that the best thing about this place is the service: everyone was very friendly, and quick to attend us. Food was great, except maybe the flake fish (first course). Seemed more Spanish to me than Portuguese though. Portions were huge... actually had leftovers from a dish, which is the first for me from a tasting menu. The prices were reasonable In terms of why I'm giving this 4 star instead of 5: -we were seated at the "Chefs counter", but did not really have a view of the prep, which was really far away. Basically could just see the fireplace. The sister restaurant Heirloom is a much better chef's counter setup where you are seeing everything -Dishes seemed to be regular menu type dishes (just smaller portions), as opposed to super interesting types that you would expect from a tasting menu -Beverage pairing was okay... didn't really love the wines For these reasons, I'd likely return, but just stick to the regular menu/ experience.

I've been driving past this restaurant for a year and finally had the opportunity to stop in and…read moreeat on Saturday. I'm not sure why the 3.0 rating. I found the food pretty good specifically the empanadas. I could not believe how delicious they were. I thought I made good empanadas but these are better than mine! I have to step up my game. Unfortunately, I dug in and forgot to take a photo. The style of empanadas were the way the Puerto Rican empanadas are made, with the ground beef and potato in it. Very tasty. They were pretty big as welI. I also ordered the corn softshell fish tacos, which had a nice mild flavor. Think they were cod or halibut. I thought I would be able to choose three different tacos, but I could not so I had to choose one type. My friend ordered the Birria tacos, which were very good. I gave him a fish taco and I took a Birria taco. The tacos came with a green sauce as well as chipotle sauce. The green sauce was to die for. I was obsessed with it. The server said he believed it was made with avocado and garlic. I forgot what else he mentioned. I would like to recreate it. The taco platter came with the basic Mexican style yellow rice and black beans. The rice and beans like every other Mexican restaurant that I have dined in, lacked a bit of flavor. I think that's just the way their rice and beans are made. I don't want to compare them with Cuban black, which are the best because those have Cuban flavors and made differently and the Mexican beans are made differently so this did not surprise me and I am not going to take away stars for the way that they are made. I brought the left over beans home and doctored them up with a little vinegar and pack of white label sazon a bit more water for the boil and to mix in the flavors and all was good. The restaurant is very nice with some nice murals decorating the walls. The server, Brian, was very personable and informative. I plan to come back here and try their other dishes. So far, I recommend. Do try those empanadas! You won't be disappointed!

She was so kind and warm. The service was also fast ! And it wasn't empty either !! Everything arrived hot fresh and quickly ! 2. The drinks were fantastic. Came out sizzling and delicious. My friend got the shrimp tacos. There were three and plentiful !! 5. We shared the churros for dessert. Also well worth it. 6 the volume was also easy to talk and hear each other. I don't see how anyone is complaining about this place. Now if you expect authentic Mexican. This isn't it.
