Karaoke usually draws an unusual crowd and that's what you get here on a Friday night! It's a big place. Two bars, one in front, one in back. Beer selection is pretty standard. Don't ask for a Cider. They'll look at you like you're from another plant. Internet jukebox is always a plus as the selection is large. I do have to say, this is the ONLY bar where I was able to play my beloved country tunes (real country, not pop country garbage) and start a sing a long. All in all, it's just a divey bar with excellent people watching.

I loved the fried goat cheese app from the regular menu - two decent sized pucks of goat cheese, fried with a light/crispy outer crust, served with a honey-fig reduction. For the entrees - the truffle Gouda smash burger had a unique blend of flavors, and the loaded mac & cheese is one of our usual favorites - soft cavatappi pasta spirals, super cheesey, and delicious salt bacon sprinkled throughout. The moment I walked in, there was a noticeable mildew smell, like the building had water damage at some point. The entire place felt dated and looked like it hadn't been updated in over 40 years!!! The three of us shared a grilled chicken Caesar salad, wings, fries, and a burger. Everything was underwhelming. The burger comes with coleslaw instead of fries, so expect an upcharge if you want fries instead. The wing sauces and dips tasted rancid, and the grilled chicken on the Caesar salad tasted like it had been cooked long before it was served. The only highlights were the fountain sodas and our waitress, who was genuinely kind and attentive. The prices were higher than the food quality justified, and it's easy to see why the restaurant was 90% empty. Maybe Hooters was a great experience 20 years ago, but it certainly isn't now. Sadly, I do not recommend this place at all and I wish I could get my $$$ back.
