Storefront location of 3 Ravens on the west side of the square
    T. A. B.

This is probably Piatt County's most interesting place, a pub and restaurant on the Courthouse Square, just west of the Courthouse. It's main competition is the Daily Queen, so it doesn't take to much effort to be most interesting, however. It replaced a valiant effort called Montgomery's. 3 Ravens opened in April, 2009.

Great place! Craft beer at a quaint bar, quiet with great food and service! I recommend the Mushroom Swiss burger and crinkle fries.

Awful overall service, took well over 40 minutes to get our food. I asked for 2 beers and only got one.

The food was okay, the atmosphere was different. The waiter was SUPER awkward. The kind of guy who makes the same bad joke to every table.

Horrible service and probably the absolute worst Patty Melt we have ever had. Didn't even eat a 1/4 of our food that was $40

Great craft beer selection for a small town -- usually a few IPAS, local craft selections, and a seasonal variety.

Our server was Austin. Austin was incredible. He handled all of us with great knowledge and enthusiasm. He had answers about every menu item that we asked about. He took group photos of us and had coozies for all of us. He could not have been more entertaining and a great ambassador for the restaurant. All of our group would highly recommend Doherty's! Make sure you ask for Austin 3:16 as your waiter!

Doherty's is known for its cheap drinks, food, and games. For sure it's even cheap for around here. There's a few locals always at the bar it seems. After many of the other places around here have closed, it was a later night option for us to get drinks and a bite. It was pretty quiet inside. This place isn't a wild hangout most times. It has a pretty simple menu. There's the most basic stuff. It's about $5 for the cheapest Irish whiskey, not bad. The food can be even cheaper if you can believe it. Fries are $3, and these are about the healthiest food here you can get. The rest of the food mostly is meats. Good place to get something cheap. It may not always be good food, in fact it usually isn't, but most people just come for the drinks so they don't really care too much about any of the food. They also have games including arcades and slots for those looking for entertainment and things.

I was so glad to see him be our server. He is genuinely nice and might be one of the more efficient servers I've ever seen. He quickly connects with his customers. I opted for their Mogger Salad but substitute the crumble cheese for shredded. I'm not a fan of blue cheese crumbles. Wife had chicken on rice with some very good mushroom sauce. Pretzel bites and beer cheese for appetizer and bread pudding shared for dessert. My wife discovered their beer cheese is excellent on baked potatoes. We joked with server that they need to have tat as a side option. He said he'd "promote" and also have a talk with manager/chef (Dalton?) We left very fulfilled!! The setting is always quiet and comfortable. But we go through mid-week. Weekends with winter sports and such can be a little more lively...if that's what you like. Kudos to them for 30 years. Good job.

Our table was "charged" over $100 in service charges and everyone was pissed!!! The food wasn't great, the beer incredibly overpriced one beer was nearly $15, medium below average salad $15, and horrible out of a box pizza, total $75! This is NOT a place to go, it is a unannounced scam! You have been warned...
