    Hot pastrami on rye

This corner coffee bistro and sandwich deliciousness is a must go. I loved the menu because it reminded me so much of a New York café or sandwich deli. They have many items that are extremely delicious my favorites are the hot pastrami sandwich and the corn beef Ruben. They also have an extensive coffee bar and smoothies. my friend took me here as a birthday treat and survival of 2020. Because it is local to the University it can have busy moments and I heard the coffee is really good. They are open to dine in as well as take out and the owner is of course a native New Yorker woo hoo.

Stopped here on a road trip and must say I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely environment, I was greeted with a comforting welcome and the service was amazing. Prices were extremely reasonable for great quality. I got the breakfast sandwich with everything on it and it was delicious! Accompanied with a latte, this was the perfect quick breakfast stop!

Charming local spot other delicious well priced sandwiches and a very warm & friendly staff. Definitely recommend the onion chicken sandwich along with the chipotle chicken sandwich! Used to be the only place in town that served coffee. I was blown away by the price/flavor :)

This is a great breakfast spot. We got a burrito, an egg sandwich, 2 delicious coffees and a side of banana for our dog for only $17, not including tip. The service was great and I loved the little bookshelf. The dog friendly patio is a must for us.

My friends and I were always lucky to snag a table for us those times. But coming in the morning is really pleasant. I've only gotten coffee here in the past, so this time we got food. I got a Pistachio Croffin (croissant muffin) and we shared a Berries and Cream crepe. And that first bite of that crepe was absolutely delicious. We were planning on sharing that crepe with another friend, but that crepe was so good we demolished it haha. We ended up ordering the Spinach Pesto crepe to share for later instead. But wow, I have nothing but praise for these crepes because they blew me away. The Berries and Cream crepe was just amazing. Fruits tasted fresh and juicy. The crepe itself was perfectly sweet. And the whipped cream cheese filling inside was light and creamy. I couldn't ask for more in a fruit crepe. Also the light drizzle of sweetened condensed milk on top? Chef's kiss. And then we tried the Spinach and Pesto crepe. It had all my favorite things inside, so of course I loved it. I loved the savory pesto spread inside the crepe, the spinach, ricotta, and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. The tomatoes added a nice acidity to balance and the balsalmic glaze tied it all together on top. It felt like applause roared in my mouth. Also I can't forget the Pistachio Croffin I ate too. It had great texture, and had that subtle nutty flavor from the pistachio. I really liked it. Anyways, I'm a big Morning Brew fan. It's poppin' in the afternoon and it's tough getting a seat, but it's not hard to see why. I prefer the early mornings for a more quiet and less chaotic atmosphere. Love you morning brew! I will always remember how those crepes rocked my world and I'll definitely be back.

I mostly settle in with a tea, but there are baked treats and crepes available if you need a bite with your brew. The staff are pretty chill and ready to help. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, so I aim for the end of the day to get a good seat. Internet is easily accessible and free of time limits. There are a lot of great spots on this end of the county, so it can be hard to choose. You can't go wrong with this one.

This is a fairly large shop in a location that I'm not sure entirely suits it - but I was very glad to see it! They have a drive through but I wound up going inside to use the restroom. It's a beautiful and modern building, with a lot of space inside to relax or work. The restroom was immaculate and the line to order was short and moved quickly. Service was also incredibly friendly and pleasant. They were very patient with the customer in front of me who asked a LOT of questions, lol. I placed an order for an iced marble mocha, which had both dark and white chocolate. This was a unique concept to me but it actually really worked! I could taste both kinds of chocolate distinctly and it was very tasty. As I kept drinking it, I will say it was a little heavy on the milk for me, but ultimately it was a tasty drink. If I lived in the area, I'd be back for sure! I'm pretty sure they give some of their proceeds back to local nonprofits too, which is nice.

Grindhead is a funny little spot, directly behind a Dutch Brothers Coffee with a Caribbean/Pirate theme. So I walk in, and I hear from behind the coffee bar, Ahoy Matey to the sound of the Caribbean music playing in the background. The barista was friendly and helpful as we chatted a bit about the shop. I started with one of their seasonal offerings, an Eggnog Latte they called the Clipper. It was nice, but too sweet on the finish for me. That was on me for going that direction as I know the associated risk. Salt is a featured ingredient in a couple of their coffees, and as the barista had shared with me a recipe she makes at home that includes both salt and vanilla, I asked her to please whip up a latte to her home recipe.......now this was a real treat as the coffee, salt and vanilla worked in real harmony for a delightful drink. This shop is not really convenient for me as I have several good coffee house options in my own neighborhood, but I will be back, if nothing else I need to spend my dabloons.

This place is located in a plaza with a couple of other businesses so there's a bunch of parking. When we arrived, Bailey helped and picked drinks according to our taste. She's cheery and very friendly. I ordered some time of latte with Lavender and oat milk and my friend got the Crows Nest. I don't remember the name of what I got, but Bailey suggested my Lavender latte (with I think white chocolate?). It was some combination like that. Anyways, my drink was decent. This is a drink I normally get when I go to other coffee places. I love creamy oat milks and lattes, but this drink wasn't creamy enough for me. Also I felt like the lavender syrup was a little too sweet and potent. It overpowered the drink at times, it was just a little too sweet for me. I took a sip of my friend's Crows Nest and I was delighted upon first sip. It was delicious, not too sweet, and good. Maybe if I tried one of their chais or ordered that one, I would've had a better experience. There were so many good things about this place. I thought the coffee shop was cute with the pirate theme and decor. All the employees that we interacted with were wonderful. It's just my drink and the qualms I have with it. I'd come back to try their other drinks though.
