It's too bad the reviews on here are mixed for this company because I had a great experience. Xavier and Kendall arrived 30 minutes early (which worked great for me) and had a positive attitude despite the rain. I was a little stressed with packing and trying to move during a global pandemic, but their positive attitude helped moving day go well. I wasn't at all convinced that they'd get my stuff in their 17-foot truck, but they assured me of their expert packing. Of course there are very minor "dings" in the house on the move-in side, but I've moved a lot and can't remember a time when that was completely avoidable. The dispatcher, Chrystal, was nice and responsive. She answered my questions leading up to move day. Checkout was super easy and I had a receipt in my inbox immediately. Please do not book this living company. I booked for a last minute move. The move was quick. But I had a large couch that ended up not fitting through my apartment door. I had my couch wrap and they somehow got through the building door. But massively destroyed it getting it out. They removed the protective wrap and didn't replace it when removing it from the building. They left my expensive couch damaged. They should have assessed that the couch wouldn't fit. READ THE REVIEWS AND PAY ATTENTION!!! The drivers arrived 3 hours late and said they had been on the clock since 5am but hadn't completed a job yet. everyone else cancelled on them. They moved things piece by piece and came with a hand truck and a few blankets. IT TOOK THEM OVER 5 hours to load a one bedroom. the dispatcher Dave (Indian guy) said I would have to cash app another 260.00 before they would drive to the storage unit. I refused. they left2 large TV's my computer screen and the entire bathroom. They were half way decent guys but their boss was some guy from NY and he cursed me out and told them to leave all of my belongings on the side of the road it was 10pm at this point. I had to call off of work and I still have to contact another company to move the remainder of the things. Nothing will fit in my car. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. AND IF YOU DO don't pay them until the job is complete. Out side of the workers being lazy and unmotivated. They were decent guys. They had no idea how to pack a truck. a 27 foot truck and they said it was full and couldn't fit any more stuff which is why they left bidea. I regret not using anyone else. I do not recommend using this company at all!!! I used to move my 3 bedroom apartment they came in a small truck and had to do 2 trips which cost me 700$ due to not bringing the correct size truck for my move. The workers the one don't know their names he was constantly taking phone breaks talking to his girlfriend about her taking the car and he was smoking weed when they brought my things to the new apartment I could smell it on him. Very unprofessional also they didn't cover none of my furniture or wrap any of my furniture and they just threw my items on the floor when we got to the new apartments, damaged a few of my things. Also I had to put my TV in my car due to he put it at the edge of the truck and I informed him my TV will get damaged, he said well I suggest you move it in your car. Also myself and my kids had to help MOVE ALL MY THINGS DUE TO THEY WERE TAKING FOREVER AND IT WENT OVER THE TIME AND IT COST ME 700$ when I had all my stuff in boxes for them to just pick up and go and wrapped my own furniture and took apart my own bed to make it easier and convenient for everyone, but it wasn't !!! BEWARE!! UNBELIEVABLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I still have not received any receipt or invoice 3 months later after asking several times. I received poor service, did not bring correct size truck, so they made me pay TWICE for their mistake!! - different trips on different days and would only accept cash!! They damaged my walls and washer in the process. I can't even dispute my charge because I paid cash!!!!! They did not wrap any of my furniture and broke several bins. Recently used them for a short move in Hiram and am completely disappointed. They moved a barely used washing machine and slid it on its back across truck floor. They way they handled washer caused one hose to dislodge and the coupling on the other unrepairable damage. They also leaked water on the floor in new laundry room. We contacted owner of company and voiced our concern. He stated they would fix the situation and repair our washer. Going on 4 days, we still don't have a working washer. Good morning  Due to my furniture being treated un-valuable by your movers . A month later I am still with out my footboard & my bed is not connected. Your company showed no care or concern. I had to put in extra effort's to even get a refund for the move something you should've been relectanted to charge due to the extreme unrepairable damage caused by your company. I asked for movers so my furniture could be covered & secured. They just broke it into pieces on top of chipping  my mirror & busting a hole in the back of my nightstand. Your reasoning for not refunding me or replying to my messages calls etc was u kept having company emergence. Well look at what your company did to me. Then tell me to use my own insurance when u are supposed to be bonded. I have not had time to do my research and look into the legal litigation until now. However I can't not accept the treatment & the damage caused by Same day movers . This is a nightmare.  What are you willing to do at this time to fix this situation. I don't even know where to begin... for starters DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I spent $2,000 on a move yesterday and I'm now seeing that not only is things BROKEN! But they did not even put things where I asked. They left numerous HEAVY boxes in the garage. Now I have no way of getting them inside of my home. They claimed to have plugged my washer/dryer up properly only for me to run a cycle and have my first and second level flooded because it wasn't done correctly. Water poured from the second level down to the first through the vents and my electrical fan. I pray nothing worst come from this. Not to mention onto my extremely expensive couch! I have legs from my tables missing. Boxes crushed. It's like I hired a bunch of teenagers to do the job. I'm so very angry and pissed! I've taken numerous pictures and videos and sent them in. I honestly just feel like I wasted my money and got a very shitty experience. It's to the point I'm in my new place and not even happy. Came without proper equipment. Used my personal blankets to cover the TVs. The truck had problems and wouldn't start. Took their time purposely to extend the hourly rate. I was quoted 550 for the first 3 hours and 179 every hour after. If I could give 0 stars I would. The dispatcher or manager gave us a moving time of 3-5pm. We were told then 5:30 after calling to check at 4:30. At 5:30 after calling back, the movers gave us an ETA of 50 minutes. After expressing our disappointment and requesting a discount for inconvenience, we were told there was nothing that could be done. Poor customer service. When I initially booked i asked for 3 movers. Justin recommend that i only needed 2 movers. Once they started the job they had no moving blankets or dolly. I was skeptical about them doing the job. I decided to give them a chance. One of movers said it's in the truck. I proceeded to let them do their job. Shortly after they started dragging my furniture. I was appalled. I immediately called Justin. He instructed me to call the dispatcher. I had used this business in 2020 to transport a bedroom set I bought from someone in Marietta. The movers; tho not the most polished of movers, did an excellent job of getting my bedroom set to Lawrenceville. They set all the furniture in the new space for me and even put up my new canopy bed which truthfully was no easy feat. No scarring, no damage to the bedroom set at all. I was very pleased with the movers as well as the price I was asked to pay. HOWEVER, when I secured 4 Hands and a truck for a second job on Labor day of 2021, I unfortunately can not say I was pleased at all with the quality of the 2 young boys they sent to my home . I asked for help in loading a truck that was to be driven to New York. These 2 young men DID NOT know how to disassemble the same bedroom set that had previously been done so masterfully by 2 other men that had been sent from this same company. It took well over 2 hours for them to disassemble the bed and the only reason they didn't or couldn't do it- was they came with Allen wrenches only and the bed only required a regular wrench. My neighbor loaned them his wrench, otherwise my bed would not have been taken down at all. When I looked at the bed while I was still in Georgia, I could see they had damaged the teakwood and actually after arriving in New York and having the bed removed from the truck, noticed a crack in the frame of the bed. They had packed the truck to make it look like they knew what they were doing; but in actuality, they only packed it such a way that the 2 queen bed were in back of the truck and the large dresser from the bedroom set was in the front of the truck. EVERYTHING else, bags, boxes , loose items all were just thrown in wiley nilly behind the dresser to make it LOOK like they had taken proper care of our items, when they had absolutely not. Additionally, when they took down the 2 baby cribs and 1 toddler bed; they never made sure we got the screws. They simply disassembled them and left the screws on the floor - which we luckily later saw and picked up and put in small bags for reassembly later. Unfortunately, some screws were lost and we had to find a hardware store in NY that sold the same screws before we could actually reassemble the beds. One of the young men was smoking while loading the truck and I had to ask him to stop. I always try to give a company repeat business if satisfied with their work. I was very satisfied with the competence of the 2 movers I had in 2020, but definitely dissatisfied with the 2 jerks they sent to me this labor day. I tried to call the company to complain and was told I had reached the sales dept and would need to call the dispatcher. When I called the number that was given to me , no answer. I called at least 4 times and left a text twice- to no avail. No answer. No answer. No answer. I would not recommend this company since the service appears to be hit or miss. And they don't take responsibility for damaging your furniture. Do not use them!! Review other companies of movers first, then hire based on good reviews. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - NOT EVEN TO MOVE A BROOM IN YOUR HOUSE FROM ONE CORNER OF THE HOUSE TO ANOTHER CORNER. If I could give no stars, that would be my pick. read more

I arranged a move with this company and received text confirmation the week leading up to my move date stating they were with 4 Hands and a Truck. Movers arrived and moved my belongings to my new address. They asked if I could pay through Zelle which I did. I asked for a receipt was told they could send me one. Later in the day after not receiving my receipt I called the company only to find out that they did not dispatch anyone to my home to move me from their company and that they showed my scheduled moved was cancelled. I was shocked and dismayed as to who the people were that moved me and after digging further, I find out that one of the movers was a former employee no longer with the company and that another employee who is now no longer there had given my personal information to the person who came to move me and had cancelled my scheduled move in their system. My personal address was given to someone no longer affiliate with 4 Hands and a Truck by someone who was terminated from the company. My information was stolen and someone represented themselves as being affiliated with this company. I have tried talking to owners who have refused my calls and I the dispatcher I spoke to was rude and talking over me and tried to make it my issue because I paid with Zelle and they only take credit card or cash!! They are accepting no responsibility or liability for the actions of those they employed and ownership refuses to return my calls. THIS IS AN UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE AND COMPLETELY RECKLESS. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They pulled a bait and switch on me with their pricing that was to be a special rate. And to add insult to injury, they were extremely late. They were to have arrived between 11am-1pm. First, the guy called right at 1 o'clock when they should have already been at my door, to say they would arrive at 2pm. At 2 o'clock when they didn't show, I called them and was told they were only 30 minutes away, which also wasn't true. They finally showed up at 3 o'clock. There was no apology for their lateness, but instead they immediately started to complain to me (as if it was my fault) that they had to "drive all the way from the other side of town". They immediately asked that I pay first, which was a red flag right away. The price was double what they had posted on their website, but soon afterwards has removed. They got Crystal on the phone to discuss the dispute and right away she was extremely rude. Was dishonest about being the owner; I was told she is not. I decided the best thing to do was to pay them the remaining money and send them on their way as fast as I could get rid of them. Had I not needed my things moved that day, I would have fired them on the spot, especially after making me wait almost all day and then to be treated with offensive disrespect. I had to take out time and write this review so other potential customers could see it, take heed, and steer clear of doing business with these people. I put in a work order for a move one week prior to the scheduled move date and on the date the movers were supposed to show up between 3 and 5 PM the supervisor called me 5 times starting at 7:30 in the morning to ask me if I wanted to do my move earlier than I scheduled. The answer was no, I scheduled the time that I did because I needed some time in the morning to get things ready to go. So I told them to stick with the original time between 3&5. well 3 o'clock rolled around and I received no call about anyone coming. 5 o'clock clock rolled around and the supervisor callEd me back to tell me that the movers are still working on a job and they are going to contact me shortly to come and do my move. OK fine I'm pretty patient so I decided to go ahead and agree. I have not received any calls about anyone coming out I attempted to call the supervisor back and no one answered the phone. Do not waste your time these movers are garbage and the supervisor is an idiot. just look at all the terrible reviews. you can definitely find someone cheaper and more reliable like I did. read more

My experience with this company was absolutely AWFUL. Please, if you want your move to be easy, DO NOT COME HERE. Chrystal, the dispatcher/manager (she called herself) was an absolute nightmare to work with. I had scheduled for our move to happen yesterday (Sept 12th) around 3-5pm was our window. Once it started getting around 4:30pm with no call from anybody, we started to worry. I tried calling Chrystal, she was unresponsive. I ended up calling the man, David, who scheduled us for this day. He was the only one responsive, but obviously couldn't help much due to not knowing the situation with the movers. He tried to calm me down and say they were coming and that hopefully an hour tops. Didn't happen. Chrystal, after many call attempts, finally TEXTED (not call) that the movers cannot come in today due to an injury. That part is understandable, however we were told this 2 HOURS after the window. You can understand our frustration at this point. It would've been nice to know that during the window, or even 30 mins after the window. NO. NO ONE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT US UNTIL 2 HOURS AFTER THE WINDOW. She tried to give us $50 credit (which is nothing since you wasted hours of our lives waiting for something that wasn't going to happen) and even tried to attempt to reschedule for the morning (which we cannot do, because we both work from 5am to 6pm weekdays, so weekends were our only option). I had asked if she could compromise since the moving company had stressed us out about our move even moreso than help, and she said no. The best they could do was the 3-5pm window, and again we work. I tried to be forgiving and compromise, but it is just 100% unprofessional. Would not recommend doing business with them EVER. I have let all my friends who work in the film industry that need movers know not to go with your company since they add stress rather than relieve it. Absolutely horrifying experience. My lawyers will be in contact to address the emotional damage that was caused in this move. Please get a new dispatcher/manager if you want your business to run smoothly. read more

I really enjoyed my teamwork with the guys as they helped me move. I had lots of stuff that required moving including a fragile and pricey dresser. Interestingly, nothing was too difficult for the talented crew to lift and move. They skillfully disassembled whatever needed disassembling before safely packing them in boxes and loading in their truck using their amazing relocation tools. After bringing the things the movers showed unrivalled skills by reassembling everything they had disassembled and by the end of the process, I had all my things in as good condition as prior to the move. These were the absolute WORST movers I have EVER had in my entire life! They were completely unprofessional in every aspect - they left half the stuff they were supposed to move in my house, spent TWO hours trying to remove the refrigerator because they did not come with the proper tools to move appliances, they damaged the house, which was getting sold to someone else 2 days after the move, said they weren't insured to move TVs so left my TVs in the middle of the floor, did not even go to the basement, left water all over the floor from he refrigerator AND washing machine, the list goes on and on. They even managed to scratch the wooden floors in my new place and half the stuff that was supposed to go to storage is sitting in my condo, while some of the boxes I need are in storage. I now have to hire help to get this fixed properly, and they are not answering the phones. They tried to demand that I pay all in cash which I paid a portion but put the rest on my credit card, and they had the nerve to charge $800 for this garbage job! They were careful, efficient, considerate of my furniture, and most importantly strong so they could easily handle the heavy furniture. Everyone I dealt with was very kind. All the people I dealt with were nice. However after I paid the invoice online I took a look at where the junk had been removed and found some still there. (One of the fence posts with cement around the base, a piece of plywood, a small bag of trash and some tiles were left.) I called and was told it would cost more money for them to come back the next day because I had been undercharged. (I paid very slightly more that what the driver quoted me and never received an itemized bill.) Just check the work before the workers leave. I was moving out of a three bedroom townhouse with a basement. They sent what looked to be a 10 foot truck to move my furniture. They only transported things that I could have been put in my car and mattresses. I was under the impression that they were going to help me complete the move, but they told me that I would have to order a whole new truck. They charged me extra for using a credit card. I will also be reporting these scam artists to the better business bureau and to the Secretary of State. read more

Terrible experience with this company. The truck showed up damaged, with no blankets nor equipment to strap my furniture into place. Two men were showed up to work, but only one guy Varkus helped, while the other one was just counting the clock. I should have gotten half of my money back because Varkus and I did the whole job. The other guy was lazy, had no work ethic, and unreliable. Also, He backed his truck into a tree in my front yard and shattered the windshield. Glass was everywhere and he didn't even clean it up. Not only has been in been two days since the incident, but I have called the company multiple times to have someone come back and clean up all of the broken glass (hazard) in my driveway and front yard and they still have not made it a priority. I do not recommend this company to anyone trying to move in Atlanta. Poor experience and poor customer service. read more

Beware! All four hands ended up breaking over $2,000 of my valuable one of a kind antiques within a half hour of entering my residence. Got in touch with owner after I asked them to leave. He had the nerve to tell me that I should have insurance on valuable items. I explained that I do, but his company's insurance will have to cover it. He refused saying that if I asked his people to leave that it broke our contract and he isn't responsible. I am currently seeking legal advice. These guys did an absolutely amazing job. To start out they were on time. I got a call 15 minutes before arrival time. They were extremely careful with all of my personal items. The guys were able to put each item where I needed it which set me up for unpacking success. I felt like they truly cared about my stuff and the condition it arrived in. The stacking and packing part of the job was amazing. A true Tetris champion. I would use this company for all my moving needs in the future. read more
