Soon as I walked in the women made me so comfortable and they weren't trying at all. They oozed pup love and passion. It wasn't a hat they said to me or all that it was their reaction and interaction. GENUINE. I'm a good read and they did not let me down. Take aside their amazing energy and animal love (obvi the most important part) she updated me with photos and how my pup was doing and I didn't request it. The first time I went was at 5:30, thinking I had until 7 pm to get the DIY wash done. I was told the store closed at 7 pm, BUT the DIY dog wash closed at 6 pm, so I only had half an hour. I knew that wasn't going to be enough time, so we left and came back the next day, much earlier. The staff was empathetic and very nice both times. The wash went well, and the staff was super-helpful, equipped with towels, a choice of shampoo (or bring your own if you like), and clearly articulated instructions. The water was hot to the touch. I was told a new water heater was to blame, but if I waited a minute or two, the water would cool off and become warm, which it did. My pup was not pleased at all with the "blow-dry" setup. It is a loud shop vac with hoses extending through the drying bays. We politely aborted that part of the process. It was actually okay, since we had enough towels to get her 90% dry. I was happy with the outcome.

They get to hang out together and actually play and socialize. The staff is caring and attentive, and I always feel comfortable leaving him there. When calling the salon, I was told that she used the same length clippers throughout his body & that my dog just has uneven hair growth. While I believe what she said, I believe that even with his uneven hair growth that this situation could have been avoided. He has never received such a bad haircut before. Hair grows back but i'm pretty sad. Also upon reviewing his nail trim, I think they could've done a better job with that as well.
