I took my Shitzu this morning because they informed me to drop him off between 7:30 to 10:30 I dropped him off at 7:30 am. They call me at almost 10:00 am and informed me my dog had pooped and pee numerous times to hurry to come and get him. We just moved to town from Southern California my dog has been going to groomers for the past 11 years and never an issue with any groomer the lady I believe was the owner was extremely rude and very condescending I was worried getting there to see my dog crying or so he was calm Will I ever go there again NO worse service ever. I informed her I had never had my dog react that way to other groomers and she rudely informed me well they just didn't tell you. "Dad dropped me off in this pet salon. This hoooman took me in and she was nice. I just don't know her name though. She trimmed me up. She gave me a bath. Shampooed my little fur. Dried me up. And she even did my nails. After we were done, she put this cute little ribbon because I'm a cute little pup. Waited for dad to pick me up. Had some bark bark with some other doggos. Then finally dad picked me up! Dad gave her this paper, I'm guessing for the service she did to me. They were able to take all 3 of my dogs at the same time. They called and asked if my 2 big dogs can be in the same crate. I gave them permission that they would be fine. As they were both clean and drying in the crate, my husky anxiously diarrhea all over the crate himself and my other dog. They called me as said they were going to have to wash them again. My first time using this business and the first spa day experience for my 14 month old Alaskan Klee Kai. Frankly, I was half expecting a frantic call to retrieve my feral dogs, the little angels. I took our puppy Bear to the groomers for the first time ever!!! I was so nervous in choosing the right groomers for him since I don't have any other pets! I booked an apt for Bear at 4 Paws and they did amazing!!! I'm so glad I listened to the positive reviews! I dropped off Bear around 10 am and he was ready before noon! His hair was cut, nails were trimmed and he was just completely pampered and happy! Bear did a great job and loves it here! Will definitely be our new grooming spot! read more

We had a wonderful experience with 4 Paws today! Our guy Fred is an old, large Pomeranian who takes some extra time and love to groom. We've taken him to the same groomer for years but with the shelter in place she has decided to close her business and she recommended Becky at 4 Paws. I'm so glad she did! Fred gets nervous easily and typically trembles during drop off and pickup no matter where you take him. When I picked him up today he was happy, looked fantastic, and the best part he was comfortable with no trembling legs. So happy that our Freddy bear will be cool in the heat. I used to only go to 4 Paws with my beloved Tinkerbell and they always did a fantastic job with her fluffy Bison hair . She passed away and then we got Olive . We have taken Olive to a few places and we where never really happy with her outcome . So back to 4 Paws we went . I am so happy we went back . The ladies are so loving and kind . If I could give this salon negative stars I absolutely would! I've been taking my dog here since he was a puppy, almost 3 years now, and they were always amazing. His hair cut was always beautiful and they always complimented how good my dog was, giving him extra treats as we left, and getting excited to see him when we brought him in. However, today he went in for a haircut and came back with a hack job for a hair cut. His ears were badly misshapen, his body was choppy all over, a couple of his nails were not even trimmed and they didn't cut his facial hair. I've never had a bad experience here but I decided to call and see what they could do. I nicely explained the situation and asked if there was any options they could offer me. They kindly offered for me to bring him back in so they can fix whatever I didn't like or give me a refund. I wasn't gonna be able to bring him back since I had work so she offered me the refund and I said thank you. When we went in to pick him up, the entire staff was completely unprofessional and extremely rude. Started complaining that my dog has always been awful and requires 3 people to groom him. Keep in my mind, my dog is 8 pounds. I was baffled by their unprofessionalism especially since I was very kind and understanding of the whole situation so I was very caught off guard by the way they acted when we went to pick up the refund. I never expected them to be so hostile since we've been long time customers and were very kind and understanding about the situation. I was never upset but just disappointed since they had always done a great job. Apparently when you get refund that also means your pet can never go back to that salon. Thank goodness because I wouldn't waste another penny on this place anyways! They definitely showed their true colors and now I understand why they had so many negative reviews. Do not take your pet here!! Save yourself time and money by going to any other pet salon!! I would not recommend this place to anybody I know. This place is horrible!! First time I was called and told "Bubbles" was finished and ready to pick up. I was there in 5 minutes and they brought out a dog that was about 15 yrs old... Bubbles was a year old and they insisted that was my dog!!! They hadn't even started on her!! She was in a cage for 3 hour before they realized!! Second time I picked up my dog and she was screaming before I walked in but could tell it was her. She was about 75% wet and they didn't trim her nails! I couldn't do anything as we were leaving for vacation. Today, I dropped her off and she escaped her collar.... though she was just being a baby. Picked her up and they tried to increase my bill by 10$. I questioned it and the owner manager replied "whatever .". Got outside and again 75% wet!!! Got out the blow dryer for 20 minutes. Had to run errands and when I got home my husband and I FREAKED OUT noticing her nails in the sunlight!! They looked jackhammered!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!! read more

My dog got her nails cut at 4 Paws and I will never be taking her back. I paid $48 for her haircut and for one of the groomers to injure TWO of her nails. When they returned my dog to me, TWO of her nails were bleeding and raw to the point where I could see her skin underneath. Their only explanation was that "it happens sometimes." No refund, no repercussion for the groomer who injured her without a care, and an insincere apology. Save your dog the pain and take him/her to another groomer. read more

Oh my God! I have been a long time client of 4-paws for years UNTIL today! I had an appt for my 2 dogs. One of them gets very matted if she gets too long, last time they were groomed I asked the groomer how long would be okay to get her groomed again- to avoid the matting. Well it was too long and I was told she would be shaved to the skin today. I knew that was going to be the case and was upset that I specifically was trying to avoid this last time. I left my dogs and 30 min later get a call that they will not groom my dogs again because I voiced a concern that I didn't want her shaved. I explained I knew she needed to be shaved I just was trying to avoid it before this appt, 2:30 comes around and I call them asking about my dogs. I'm told they're ready; I get there and neither dog was groomed! They were in the kennel all day from 8-3 for no reason!! I love this place! I used to take my 2 chihuahua mixes to petco, but the last few times, I've been disappointed with their work. Not only did they do a better job with grooming, but their prices are much lower. What cost me $100 at petco, only cost $40 at 4 paws. I will definitely be going here exclusively. I am extremely impressed with their talent on how they took care of my Manx Calico cat I just wanted them to cut off the big piece of mattered fur on her back and cut around her poop hole. Because a Manx cat doesn't wipe their butt well because her legs are jacked up in the back... and I end up having to wipe her butt. So it is not good to have fur on it Besides that they brushed her hair on the sides of her body where she used to attack her self because it was dense fur and it was painful to her if I were to touch her there Hands down this cat is so much happier now all to the tune of $10 Of course I tipped her 50%!! Failed to call us about when our dogs were ready. The front gal was oblivious to everything and didn't even know that our dogs were ready. Both of my dogs were in the back where it was very hot and did not have access to water. They nicked both of my dogs where they were taken down too much. This place will not be around for too long if they don't know how to run a dog grooming business. Do not take your dog here, your dog will not be taken care of. 4 paws was good service 5 months ago and has gone down hill ever since. My dog was promised to be done in 2.5 hours and 5 hours later she was finished. Also, she is traumatized and has had severe anxiety ever since, Caroline was informed my dog has illnesses requiring medications but all of this was ignored after I left the dog.
