I had high hopes for Pet Paradise Day Camp after recently moving and needing a new place for my dog, who has been going to daycare consistently for the past six months with zero issues. He's incredibly friendly with other dogs and thrives in a social play environment. Unfortunately, our experience here has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. The first time I brought him in, I had to call and remind the staff to actually put him out with the other dogs -- something I paid for and was clearly supposed to be part of the day camp experience. That alone was concerning, but I decided to give them a second chance, thinking maybe it was just a fluke. The second visit was even worse. I arrived to pick him up early only to find out he had been kept in a kennel from 8 AM to 2 PM without ever being let out to play. Six hours locked up with no socialization -- this is not what day camp is supposed to be. We pay for our dogs to be active, engaged, and around other pups, not crated all day. This kind of negligence is unacceptable. It's a complete waste of money and a huge disservice to pet owners who expect quality care. I do not recommend Pet Paradise Day Camp to anyone who values their pet's well-being. There are far better options out there that truly understand what dog daycare is supposed to be.

They welcomed Rocko with caress making him feel comfortable as well as myself. They took their time to learn about his personality and routine. There was positive energy throughout the facility, which was spotless and smelled amazing. I appreciate the pictures and the report card that was given to me at pickup. When they were bringing Rocko to me he wanted to go back and play which said it all that he had a blast! When he got to the truck he was happy and tired which was a good thing, he slept all night. I can't say enough about this place but bring your fur baby you will be glad you did!

I can tell that he cares about the pups and the customers. I will give them another try in the future and have updated my rating to 4 stars. Be prepared to lose your money if your plans change for boarding and the owners will be rude about it. Had to cancel boarding reservation for over Easter weekend that I was required to give 50% deposit on. Owner, Laura, said that my money was not refundable (which wasn't disclosed to me over the phone) nor was it available to use as a future credit. She said it's in our paperwork, too bad. Well I dug up the paperwork and it says: "I understand that Boarding reservation for Major Holidays listed below require a 50% non-refundable deposit payment to Club Pups Lake Norman for the duration of the stay. Non-refundable deposits will ONLY be refunded in the case that the reservation is cancelled in-written 5 days prior from your day of arrival (1st day of boarding). The Major Holiday are: Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, and Month of December." Easter is not listed as a non-refundable holiday, therefore they have no right to keep my money. So, I opened a dispute with my credit card company. I would never recommend this place or ever use them again based on how I was treated by the owner, Laura. Nor am I going to use their grooming location again either.

It was nice to pick up happy and exhausted pups, one of them even refused to get in the car to go home! As other reviews have mentioned, K9 Cabins has nice, big and clean kennels with access to indoor and covered outdoor runs. It had plenty of space for my two large dogs and the dogs also get outside play time. Elena and the staff were wonderful and personable. I look forward to bringing my dogs for "vacation" when I leave town. Highly recommend!

Now that she's an older dog, she gets bored and lonely so we bring her back. She fell right back in the routine. The establishment send out daily reports with photos to let us know how our dog behaved and what her demeanor was. They offer a variety of services whether boarding overnight or day visits. They've been in business for years. We trust them to take good care of our dogs. They're always sad and exhausted when we pick them up. I guess they get good exercise and bonding time with other dogs. Check them out.

One of our dogs has lots of allergies and CT gives him a special bath with hypoallergenic shampoo. He still smells great and clean with no itching! Our dogs both love her and get excited when she greets them at the door. Highly recommend.
