I have taken my puppy here three times now. When I take her in, she is very excited to be there. She wants to jump out of my arms and into theirs, which is such a great sign. they do a great job of grooming her and always make her look. Terrific they put the cutest bows in her hair. They always call me prior to her being done so she's not there longer than she needs to be. They also give me an estimate of how long it will take when I drop her off send a text message to the night before to confirm I highly recommend this place if you're going to take your puppy or dog for grooming. I've had other dogs prior and taken them for grooming and this is a great experience to have a dog who wants to be there and comes out happy and looking great. We have been getting our pups groomed here for years! Our dogs, Luna and Bear always come back to us looking adorable and smelling great. The staff does a great job taking detailed notes of what we want for our grooming. We love the way they shape the fluffy head for our bichons. Love this place!! My rescue puppy Riggins was terrified of having his face trimmed. I took him somewhere else first and they told me it wasn't possible to cut the hair around his face without hurting him. I thought he would have to be blinded by scraggly fur forever . When I picked him up from 4 Pups he looked perfectly groomed, and I was told he should be fine with grooming now. I'll definitely be bringing my other dog here as well!! 4 pups is clean, reasonably priced and great with my Maltese mix. This was the third time I took my dog here and he's getting better each time. Claus is an 8 year old rescue dog and REALLY doesn't like his face groomed or cut. In general he doesn't like to go to the groomers. We don't know why this is, but he can be difficult to handle (or so I've been told by 2 other local groomers). The ladies here are very patient with him and take their time to give him love and attention while grooming so he doesn't get aggressive. He even let them cut his beard really close this time and he won't let me trim it! 4 pups is our go-to spot for the monthly grooming a white dog requires without breaking the bank. read more

This is my SECOND review since my original was removed. This is not a fake review so Yelp shouldn't remove it. I only write reviews in extreme circumstances and this definitely is one disappointing experience that needs to be shared. I took my Standard Poodle in January and the owner did a good job for $140+tip but insisted that I bring him back every 5 weeks and not to wash him at home. He was groomed elsewhere in between and I made the next appointment last week and got to our appointment on time while the owner was on the phone. We waited until she got off and she came out rushed and as soon as she pulled his file and realized we weren't back as frequently as she anticipated, she became very short, unprofessional, inpatient and very RUDE claiming that he probably was matted even before examining him. My pup who is usually a friendly dog could feel the negative energy and refused to go inside with her or let her touch him. I told her that she was rude and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my dog with her. I definitely would not go back or recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

I was referred to 4 Pups by a friend of mine, so I assumed my sweet dog would be in good hands. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Stacy was my dog's groomer, and she cut my dog's foot (paw pad) badly during his groom. Not only was my puppy hurt when I picked him up, but I was never notified of his injury at the time it happened. They waited until I came to pick him up. The story they gave me was that Stacy accidentally left a pair of grooming scissors out on the grooming table and my dog stepped on them. I'm not sure if that's the case, but the bottom of his paw was badly cut. If this was true, it's clearly negligent that a pair of scissors was left in place a dog would step on them during a grooming. I took my dog immediately to our vet, and the poor guy needed to have his foot cleaned and wrapped in a bandage, pain medication and a week on antibiotics. It was heartbreaking to see my little pup in pain. When I first arrived to pick my dog up from his groom, Stacy told me he had been hurt but it was nothing to worry about. Stacy even said my dog was "naughty" and that's why he was hurt. If you left scissors on a table, that has nothing to do with my dog's behavior. Also he's the sweetest boy you could ever meet. Both Stacy and then the owner Wen discouraged me from taking my dog to his vet. They said "he'll be fine tomorrow." His paw looked raw and red and I was worried he could get an infection. When I insisted he needed to be seen by his vet, Wen offered to cover his vet bills, which I would expect. However, she wanted to deduct his groom fee from any vet bills. I couldn't believe the greed. My dog came back to me injured and in pain and she still wanted to charge me for his groom. (!!) I told her I wasn't going to pay the groom fee under these circumstances. Their attitude was terrible. I didn't understand why they didn't seem compassionate, apologetic or make a sincere effort to make the situation right. The vet told me that Wen and Stacy used a skin sealant on my dog's paw. It's like a skin glue that acts as a bandage. It is used primarily to stop bleeding and hold the skin together like a stitch. Wen did not admit they used this until I told her what the vet had said. The vet believes they were trying to hide the severity of the cut by not telling me about using a skin sealant. Wen did write me a check to cover the approximately $200 in vet fees. She also told me they won't ever groom my dog again. I thought that was ridiculous because I would definitely NOT EVER let them near my dog again. Don't worry I won't be back! And I hope whoever reads this won't put their dog in harm's way with them either. read more

I've been taking my dog here for the past 2 yrs. they recently changed ownership but still the same great service. Claudia is great with my dog, Roman. He doesn't do well around other dogs (since he lost his eyesight), but he always seems to be fine at 4 Pups. They use all organic products that don't irritate the skin. And if you're lucky, your pup will come home in a cute bandanna. For Roman (medium size cocker spaniel), the price is always $60. It never changes, which I'm grateful for. And make sure you make an appointment. They do take walk-ins, but It guarantees that your dog will have first priority and you can even let them know if you have plans so they know what time to finish by. read more

Brought my beautiful Yorkie in for a medium trim and a "yorkie cut". They SHAVED ALL OF HER HAIR OFF, FACE, LEGS,EARS ALL GONE. She now looks like a chijuaha or rat terrier! They even provided 4 coat thicknesses befor grooming and I selected medium. My dog and I are miserable as this will take months if not years to recover! read more

The dog could sense the energy so he refused to be touched by her. She was inpatient, rude and frustrated to the point where I didn't feel safe to leave him with her.
