I left a few larger items overnight and returned the next morning to finish the job. At that point, I discovered that several items were missing, including a mirror, two dressers, and an exercise bike. What makes this situation even more concerning is that the night before, I had actually made an arrangement with the facility employee to purchase the two dressers and mirror for $100. Despite that agreement, those items were gone when I returned. To be clear, I regularly purchase storage units and complete multiple auctions a month, and I have never had an issue like this before. I always understand the risks involved in buying storage units, but this situation raises serious concerns about access and handling of contents after auction purchase. I reported the issue, but the experience has left me feeling uneasy about the security and oversight at this facility.
