I brought my 2010 Tacoma to have a leveling kit installed back in 2016. Since then, I took the car to Hawaii, then Germany, and back to San Antonio. Unfortunately, I recently sold the Tacoma, but the truck and installation still looked great. More recently, I ordered some floor mats for our new vehicle online and picked them up here. I received a phone call the same day to notify me they have received my order and they would call again once they expected the items to arrive. Low quality work. Had a simple truck bed cover installed but had missing and loose parts. I had to tighten up several screws and actually found extra screws in clips. Got a full suspension system from Icon with rims, tires and some fog lights from Joel at this location. Was kind of odd type of transaction but it was taken care of without a hiccup. I wasn't too happy with the ride height after everything was installed and thought it was communicated how I wanted the ride height but somehow there was a little misunderstanding along the way. Joel made sure to take care of me and get the truck to how I wanted it with no conflict. As a customer that's reassuring, instead it could have went another way. This is a follow-up to the review Kathy D posted. After Johnny got the retractable steps working, they stopped again. Called Johnny and we determined that it was the controller. Without hesitation, he located one and had it at the store in a couple of days where he installed it and it's working fine. One of the most impressive things is that the Amp steps were purchased at 4 Wheel Parts in Las Vegas. To have seamless service from state to state is very impressive and not found very often. read more

I took my elderly father's sequoia to have a Lund bull bar installed. It had to be special ordered, and it took a couple of weeks but that was understandable. Day of the install, I got there it was quite busy. This was a weekday. But it seemed the employees were having a hard time getting people checked in. Long line, a long wait, and there a few employees seemed to be standing behind their computers doing nothing. Several hours later, when the truck was ready, I found a chrome bull bar when I'd ordered black. Was told later that the black did not have the LED lights My father wanted. But I was never told that. Good thing my father said he thought the chrome looked better. He kept it. My second visit (on a Friday) is the reason for the three stars as opposed to something lower. I was told to come back for a complementary tightening of the bar. JEFF was fantastic and took great care of me. They tightened the bar, adjusted the license plate upward (the bar was blocking it and I didn't want dad getting a ticket) and put air in the tires because the low pressure light was on. All that at no charge. Fair warning! Some days they're slammed! And when they are slammed, you'll be frustrated at the level of customer service read more

WOMEN BEWARE! I was stereotyped and these men will try to confuse you. I shopped around and I received a quote from Henry Estrada for labor cost of $99 to fix my brakes and replace the rotors. I purchased the brakes and rotors for $135.00 @autozone. When I went in Johnny Cobb told me the cost of labor was $147.00 "If nothing else is wrong." Johnny was very aggressive and would not let me speak. I let him know I was quoted over the phone $99 for labor. He changed the price and said again "If nothing else is wrong". Right away he pulled me to the back of garage to show me there was liquid on the inside around my tire which meant I needed a new caliper. Ok how much will this be? $72.57. Cost ended up coming out to $448.63! See receipt below. After I said why do I have 3 labor cost? He said because we are doing three different labors. I then told him no thank you. He said "The Jeep is not drivable and you have to fill out a disclaimer!" As Johnny was holding on to my keys walking from the back to the front filling out the disclaimer I walked out to the front. He came outside stating his manager authorized to $375.00 price but I had to leave my truck. After having a long weekend to think about how I was treated. I decided to speak to the manager when I got there on Monday. Which was Henry Estrada that gave me the original quote. I explained to him that I was stereotyped as a typical women that you try to confuse. We talked about to original receipt and he said "I am not sure why they did that I would have to speak to the other guy." I asked him why am I paying for three different labors he says you don't have to pay anything I said ok but you have my key. He then says I can understand where you got confused. I said to him I am not confused you broke the receipt down to try to confuse me. But I am still paying three labors. Never once apologized! Do not go to this location they are ripping WOMEN off. read more

I really like 4 wheel parts. I've used their stores in Colorado and Georgia and hoped to do business with the SA store. They have a reputation for being experts. However, you will be paying top dollar for their services. I asked for a quote for a KC light install. I didn't have the tools or time to do it myself. They quoted me $265 just for the install (I had already purchased the lights). Wow.. I found another professional shop that installed the lights for less than $50 and I didn't need an appointment. SA is big enough with enough auto specialty shops that do the same quality work quicker and cheaper. Still, 4 Wheel Parts are the experts and they stand by their work. I just wish I could always afford to use them. read more

Me: I'm curious how this impacts you providing me a quote? Rep: I need it to get past this screen in my system to get you that info. I had to schedule an appointment 2 weeks out to schedule a tire rotation. I was told to bring it in at 9 am. I arrived right on time and was 2nd in line. The took my truck into the garage about 9:30. I went to check on it at 10 am and it sat in the work bay,....and all was quiet. "Oh, they're on a 'mid-morning break' I was told. The garage was silent for at least a half an hour. Finally at 10:30 I asked an employee how much longer and he said about an hour as there were 2 trucks ahead of me,...as the sound of air wrenches started to resume. Forty five minutes later my truck still sat there untouched. I couldn't wait any more. I left after wasting 2 1/2 hours of my morning and my truck never even got on the lift. Why should it take all of MY morning to wait for a tire rotation that I had to schedule on my day off, two weeks out?? Plenty of other BETTER run shops out there. I will NEVER come here again or recommend this place to ANYone. Their service SUcKS. read more

The location here in San Antonio had garbage customer service, they do not tell you when things are free install. The phones are always ringing and the staff is less than helpful. Terrible place to go, don't bother trying to call to check on your vehicle or ask any questions cause you won't get through to the desk and if you do you'll be on hold for 45 minutes. I've tried this place multiple times and they never fail to disappoint! I thought I had gotten away from using them for good, but of course the new gears they installed are broken after a few months and I was told my 3 year warranty wouldn't cover it. Henry and his team are the best, and once again they proved me wrong!!! It all started when I purchased some pro comp shocks last year which was a while back,well I started to experience some shock failure which they had a lifetime warranty. With that being said ,Henry told me not to worry and that he would set me up with one of his reps which he did, and it turned out for the best. They placed an order Thursday afternoon around 4:30 and were able to have all four shocks by 9:00 am sharp like they said they would!!!:) For that I think Henry and his team deserve a 5 star review and would definitely recommend them to anyone on this planet. First time, I visited this place I thought man this place is way spendy. But after dealing with other shops and their incompetence I have learned these are the go to guys for Toyotas. They fixed problems on my Tundra lifted by another shop. Joel guided me through purchasing the right gear for my 1985 Toyota Pickup build. They did my 2015 Tacoma, 2016 Tundra and each time it was just done right. If you have an older or newer Toyota, hit up Joel over there. That dude knows his yota suspension! Do not order anything online from this place. Horrible customer service. I ordered parts for my Jeep and selected ship to store. Online store said parts were in stock and they would call in 3 to 5 days when it arrived at the store. No call. I call after a week and Ron first tells me he can't find my order, and then tells me it is backordered. I received no notice or communication about this while checking out, after checking out, or at any point before calling to check on my order. I told him to cancel the order and refund my money, he said he would have to call and talk to someone else. I asked for a call back to verify once refund order was processed, he said ok. I would give this place less if I could. First ordered parts online and the internet department charged for the parts but never sent to the store. I had to call the store twice to get it forgives out since the first time I couldn't get it fixed. Then the next week I called on Monday and waited on hold for 30 minutes to be asked again top hold. I said to the guy I had been waiting 30 minutes already for him to tell me he had 4 people on hold and people in the store. All I wanted to do was verify my order was there. Called back Tuesday to verify for pickup Thursday. On Thursday when my girlfriend showed up they told her the order wasn't paid for. Someone refunded the payment for some reason. The customer service for this company as a whole sucks. I'll Be shopping else from now on. read more
