I never experienced bad communication here until this morning. I waited for nearly 8 minutes until someone acknowledged me as a customer. I came to have warranty work done on my Katzkin leather. When I checked in no one did an exterior inspection of my truck with me. In addition, my truck was in the work area for an hour and no one communicated to me how long the warranty repair will take until I said something. Now I have second thoughts about contacting Katzkin Corporate Office to have my warranty work addressed through a different dealer here in San Antiono, TX. I highly recommend! I live out of town and had them install Katzkin seat covers on my Toyota for the front and middle seats. They made the drop off and pick up after hours seamless and the final product looks just like when I bought the car in 2017! I took my Nissan Maxima into Dealer Source to get a rear kit, side panels, window rain guards and front lip installed professionally on my car. The price was agreeable and their work was better than expected. The front lip wouldn't fit the car due to a defective design in the product. They informed me that they tried but didn't want to apply it to the car because it wouldn't look right. They provided photos and text to explain their decision. The care they put into their work as well as the look of my car spoke to their level of professional service. I have reordered front lip kit and a spoiler and will be back to Dealer Source for additional installations. Took my BMW X6 M there to install numerous carbon fiber add-ons on the exterior. They did not use the self tapping screws supplied for the side skirts (and didn't give hem back to me either), just 3M taped them to the bottom of the car and the tape is showing. One of the mirror caps wasn't installed all the on...I didn't notice until days later. After they installed the rear diffuser, my automatic lift-gate no longer works...probably reinstalled the sensors backwards or not at all. Will take to the BMW dealer for repair. The front bumper cover wasn't installed properly (wasn't fitted all the way on). The tape on the front lip was also showing. They did a good job on the truck spoiler installation. I would recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else, preferably outside of San Antonio to a shop that knows what they're doing, but certainly not to them. read more

Quality of AppleCar Play was pretty good; it's not as seamless as OEM, but it is significantly cheaper and has all of the functionality.

Never had work done there, but I did stop by to see if I could get a peace on foam for my helmet. They pointed me in the direction of what turned out to be the OWNER of the company! He went out of his way to find the foam, and gave me way more than I ever thought I needed. He was so helpful and truly an awesome guy! If this is the amount of the tension he gives a customer that just wants a little piece of foam, which you gave me for free, I can only imagine if I was getting reupholstery done. I recently purchased a complete set of seat covers from Katzkin for my 2016 Duramax. They sent me to shop who's name I won't even mention , because I have nothing good to say about them. After the first attempt at installing my seat covers they were pretty bad looking. Katzkin sent them another set for the front seats, only to come out looking worse than before. Katzkin continued to try and fix the situation sending yet another set of seat covers ,this time to Dealer Source. I'm happy to say that these guys at Dealer Source did an amazing job! I took a truck in to have a gooseneck hitch installed. The install itself is good work, however, the communication is extremely poor. My truck has(had) air bags on the rear suspension which i asked if they would test and reconnect which the "manager" stated they would and reconnect if possible. When I went to pick up my truck, the "manager" proceeded to show me how to operate the gooseneck hitch and explained that it could not be installed with the air bags connected. When I asked why they didn't call me to discuss options he just kept talking about how operate the release. So I asked the same question again and he again kept talking about what they did. I asked if he had heard my question and he responded "yes" but continued to talk without answering me. This is the end of the day so I was too exhausted to argue with him. Now, not only do I still have non working air bags, but I only have partially installed air bags because the couldn't be bothered to correctly remove them(all without calling). He also stated that they tend to pop so are basically worthless so it shouldn't matter. They also removed one of the bed fasteners(bolts) and told me that it was rusted and just left it in the bed of the truck. I was going to have them install Bluetooth w/ backup camera and maybe leather interior, but after seeing how they treated both my vehicle and myself, I will seek out another vendor. I gave them 2 stars because the hitch install itself was well done. read more

I had the privilege of working with Chad. He really has a passion for what he does and provided a great experience. Installation took a little less than 2 hours. It went by so fast I was actually worried they missed something. Turns out everything is ok and I can't even tell they took anything apart (which is a good thing haha). The leather turned out fine, but they broke parts of my NEW car and tried to hide it. Actually hid the broken pieces. They put the broken piece -plastic cover on the door- back on and just left it for us to find. Thing fell off when the door closed. They replaced the part but never owned up to having HID it. The manager kept saying "things break sometimes", yeah, but do you always HIDE IT? We took it back and my husband watched while they took other parts off to inspect and see if more damage was hidden, and guess what? A second part had to be replaced. That had been broken and just LEFT. Then we got the car home and found the screws in the armrest have been STRIPPED. Seriously? The manager had the nerve to say "well everything's new now". Yeah new stripped screws, new headaches, new loss of our valuable time. Fortunately we have pictures of everything and documented well. read more
