I am glad we chose this place instead of another bar/restaurant. We were staying in Atlanta just for the night so I really did not research specific places to eat or things to do. Upon entering, we decided to go sit at the bar. It was nice because we were the only patrons sitting there. The restaurant was mostly empty but had patrons dining. We were greeted and given menus.i ordered the Sangria Margarita, which was frozen. It was cool outside so idk why I ordered that lol. It was really tasty though! Hubs and I were not starving but hungry enough so we decided to split something. We decided on the chicken tenders because we figured it was one of those meals that you really can't screw up and it was safe. The food came out quickly enough and was hot. The chicken was okay but it was definitely not chicken breast or a real chicken tender. It was more like McDonalds chicken nugget material. As we were sitting there, I noticed the bottles in the speed rail had no caps on them and were open. Maybe the bartender was in the midst of doing something and I did not see it but I found that to be odd. If we are in the area again, we may visit if we cannot find another option. read more

Rodeo is a cool spot on Mt. Zion Rd in the southside area. This was my first time here and I had a nice time. The bar is spacious with an outdoor area and a mechanical bull. The waitresses were friendly and the prices were not too high. We ordered a (small) bucket of beer and a few rounds of shots. It never took too long to receive our requests. This bar/restaurant is off the chain! First, you may as well throw COVID restrictions out the window because besides the staff wearing masks there aren't any... I watched people huddled up, yelling in one another's face due to the excitement of the game, a man fall off his seat, and there were no spacers between booths!! Now, I must say this wasn't my first time visiting this place. I've visited a couple times, pre-COVID, and enjoyed myself! I love that they have pool tables! Normally the staff are really professional and nice and the food pretty good! I had the shrimp fajitas! But there fish tacos are great as well (not on menu). That didn't change. I've came here several times and maybe one time out of the seven I actually had good service. Every single time it's a New set of waitresses every time(that are poorly trained/never have the answers to any questions). The DJ played 3 majors songs twice during his set so repetitive music. We went on a Saturday evening. We ended up here because the bars with POC in McDonough were dead and we didn't want to travel to the city. When we arrived there were at least three police cars in the parking lot and I didn't know if that was a good or bad thing. The parking lot was pretty packed but we managed to get a spot right up front. There was a 45 minute wait for a table. We put our name on the list and snagged some chairs at the bar while we waited. Service at the bar was horrendous but thank goodness we ended up only having to wait about 20 mins for a table to open up. We were immediately greeted at the table and were finally able to order some spirits. The drinks were okay, nothing imaginative or amazing. The prices are typical overpriced club prices. The server was nice, helpful and pretty attentive. We did not order food so I cannot speak on that. My table ordered a hookah and I noticed that this one didn't have the usual coals. I don't know if that made it better or worse. I am not a hookah user. The music was on point. All the latest trap hits that make you want to dance and sing along. I really wished this place had a dance floor. That evening they had a bull riding competition for the ladies. The winner won $100 cash!! Unfortunately, I had on a dress so I couldn't try my luck (well I could have, but you know I try to be a little classy, sometimes lol). If you were not in the competition it's $5 per ride. At the end of our night while leaving a little argument ensued and two gentlemen yelled at each other, while bar security and local police swiftly intervened. And it wasn't until we were leaving that I realized they had pool tables, aww man, I missed out. Overall, I had a good time. No real complaints, a good spot close to home to hang out and not have to get dressed up or wait in a long line. read more

It is a Rodeo bar sold as is, bull and all. The All-Over-The-Place menu is more American Tex Mex but not. Rap&House music pumping through the speakers and servers that are on their own time. Don't know what beers are on tap, what liquors are sold, portion sizes, nothing. I guess they have 1 salt shaker in the building because it was borrowed from another table to hand to us and then taken from ours to pass along. This is a very spacious sports bar. I visited when it used to be a diner. I came for lunch so it wasn't busy at all. My server was ok. She was young and I could tell she just started as she had to return to the table and repeat things a lot to be sure. They were out of coke slaw which I prefer to have with seafood. There wss a screen in every direction, a dj spinning, and ample seating. It's a nice place. They can afford you add a few staff for cleaning but it wasn't enough to give bad feedback. His friend called in advance to verify, I asked upon first walking in, & there was a sign outside stating that they had it.
