The manufacturer approved to only have two of the four rooms (and staircase) carpet replaced due to defects. However, the other rooms carpet were from the same lot. So, the entire house needed to be replaced. The manufacturer sent a team out to analyze the carpet, and the team agreed the entire house needed to be replaced because the glue was defective and the strands were too short. However, the manufacturer ran their own tests and of course denied the claim. This has now been over 1.5 years and nothing has been done to actually fix the situation and there are hundreds of snags and pulls in the carpeting. For two people this seems quite extreme especially for nearly $10,000 worth of carpeting. While I recognize Mouery's tried to help, the customer is still the only one out thousands of dollars with an entire house full of defective carpet. So, once again the consumer is the only one who loses. When will companies actually do what they say they are going to do?

We've been working with Mike at Discount Dave's since early 2015 when we began house shopping. He…read morehas always been knowledgable and done his best to answer questions or even find answers when he didn't have one. Once we purchased our first home, we picked out some tile that has managed to be a nice addition. After all, the house was stuck in the '90s....(oh and we installed it ourselves) We wanted to go with DD for our entire floor remodel but, unfortunately, the laminate selection isn't the greatest and it's all thinner (7mm or less...we wanted 12mm). We recently got to experience DD's installation for our carpet and that, too, was an excellent experience. Mike came to our home, did measurements, quoted us right then and there and stuck to it. On the day of install, the guys showed up roughly 15 minutes late which wasn't a big deal for us and they got right down to it. We moved our furniture and removed the old carpet/padding ourselves to save some cash. Ultimately, the installers took roughly 2 hours to do 3 bedrooms at about 520 square feet. The carpet we chose was a stain resistant carpet at 50-60oz (SUPER SOFT AND THICK!!!!) with an upgraded spill-proof pad. At $3.15 for carpet, pad, installation and a killer warranty, we have been extremely satisfied. The only downside to our carpet experience was that the installers made no effort to clean up their mess or vacuum the carpet once installed - it would have been since to see a beautiful, clean finished project rather than all the fibers covering the floor. We definitely recommend DD's to anyone wanting a product comparable to Lowe's or HD but not wanting to spend a ridiculous amount of money.

They brought the completely wrong carpet from what we ordered. Left that carpet overnight knowing…read morewe had dogs and came back the next day to install carpet we settled on. They were supposed to give us a discount since we didnt get the carpet we originally ordered. Today im told that we dont get a discount because there was stains on the carpet they left here because of the dogs and they had to throw it out. There was nothing ever agreed on or signed saying to keep dogs off the carpet. We never even asked them to leave behind white freaking carpet to begin with. We have kids and animals and shit happens. Very unprofessional company so everyone beware! The so called discount flooring is not worth the hassle. The only good thing was the installer who was very good. The fact is I never asked for the wrong carpet to be left. It should have been rolled up and taken back to the store as soon as it was made clear it was the wrong stuff. The whole experience could have been handled more professionally. Nobody would have even contacted me today to even tell me the issue if I hadn't reached out about it. Treat your customers better!
