This was such a hidden find! We were recommended this by some friends that stop on their way to the cabin, so we gave it a try - this will definitely be a new staple for us. The inside is cool and modern - I love the giant bar in the middle. If I was from the area, I would definitely get married here! It was cool to be able to see the pizza oven too. Service was great - super fast and timely. We ordered and got our drinks and pizzas so quick, we were back on the road in no time! I had a mocktail that was delicious - I can't remember the name but it was a fruity lemonade! The Old Roscoe Pizza was perfectly cooked and flavorful - I still think about how good it was. Definitely will be back here!

Popped in Wednesday night for live music. What a great space for it!! The musicians were set up right near the bar, the garage door was open, and the seating is all around!! The music sounded great in the space and the spring air flowed through!! My server Dayton was a delight, she steered me to the May Flowers.... it was a light, subtle cocktail that I sipped fora couple hours. I appreciated that there were two standard height tables near the musicians too, my preferred option! I wanted to give the bourbon cheese dip a try but after discussing the asparagus w Dayton, I opted no dip this time. Whoa! Did you know white asparagus is a thing...it exists?! I did not...and was taken aback when the plate arrived! It's delicious and the sauce it was drizzled in was spicy and delicious as well!. The musicians were set up right near the restrooms too, good thinking 45th Parallel, thanks. Parking is easy w their own private lot. This is only my third visit to 45th since they opened... as I told Dayton: my first visit and tour were years ago when they were the tiny original version of the big complex they are now. Thanks 45th for a fun night, friendly service, good food and tasty cocktails, you are worth the twin cities drive, cheers!

45th Parallel is great! Walked in on a Saturday evening with a group of four and were seated on the second level. Only downside was that service was a bit slow, but everything else was fantastic! The facility is beautiful, well-thought out, and accommodating. The bonded old fashioned was delicious! We also ordered the soft pretzel which came with a super tasty spicy mustard. Some tables around us got pizzas and it made me jealous, I'll definitely be back to try some!

Very scenic taproom and kitchen serving up excellent whiskey, gin, aquavit, and vodka. They do a lot of experimental infusions so be sure to check back regularly. We were the first ones there and sat on the patio under the enormous garage door with our dog. No dogs inside, tough. There isn't a ton of seating so I imagine they get pretty busy on nicer days. Their event space is huge so seems like that might be nice. The service was great and they answered all my questions about the various seasonal spirits. The food was all "ok". I was very excited to try the spent grain pretzel but I don't think they use a very high % because it tasted like undersalted, slightly underbaked white bread. It didn't have the browning or crust you expect from a good pub or Bavarian pretzel. Probably wouldn't get it again. The bread and butter was equally disappointing. Almost no flavor but the texture was good. Just grocer store butter and honey. You'd be better off buying a baguette and butter from a local bakery or creamery. I mean, you're in WI so there's probably a great one nearby. The "meat surprise" was also bland and a touch dry. The potatoes were probably the best food we got. Lots of garlic and butter. It was nice but probably not worth a road trip. You can get their spirits at most liquor stores.

Great place to have brunch or dinner. I had the Kale salad. Dinner favorite is the oven roasted asparagus with the smoked steelhead trout. Great drinks and beer selection as well. Enjoyable atmosphere with occasional live music and outside seating. I can only recommend that place.

This is my family's new favorite summertime spot. The patio is a lovely place to be, and the staff clearly love what they do. I especially appreciated the effort put into the mocktail menu. Best of all? The PIZZA. It is about as authentic as you can get outside of Naples... and we've had the best pizza in Naples. If I didn't know we were in New Richmond I would have thought we were in Italy. It truly is that good.

We stopped in yesterday to check out 45th Parallel's outdoor farmer's market, which was so much fun on its own. After shopping, we went inside for brunch. Between the four of us, we had the House Pretzel, Farmers Market Board, Breakfast Beef Hash Scramble and Breakfast Pizza. Everything came out looking appealing to the eye, and tasted fantastic. Of course being a distillery, they also have an amazing specialty drink menu and their staff is very knowledgeable about all the offerings on it. Our server made sure we didn't want for anything throughout our visit.

Have come here for a tour a couple times, but was finally able to enjoy the "new" dining amd drink hall. I will start by saying go take a tour sometime. Both times were enjoyable and I learned something new both times. You also get to try A LOT of booze at the end of your tour, so eat a hearty meal prior, plan to grab some grab immediately after, or get a sober ride home. Since I recently got to try the dining area (that has been open for...a while), I am super impressed. The bartenders were very helpful and friendly. Tried a couple drinks, an app, pizza, and dessert. Didn't plan to have that much, but some items just sounded too irresistible. Can't wait to go back again!

We had a friend recommend 45th to us a few months ago when we were attending a wedding and catching up over bloody mary's in our hotel room. When we asked them what the secret was that made this particular one so delicious they let us know it was the dill aquavit from 45th! They highly recommended that we take a trip out and visit on a weekend as it was well worth the experience. We nodded that we would, and as usual, promptly forgot all about it. Flash forward to present day and as luck would have it we had a baby shower that we were going to be attending in New Richmond not far from 45th! We decided we would make the stop by after the shower since we were already in the neighborhood and I am SO glad we did. What a cool set up they have going on, I wish we could've done a tour because I'm sure we would've enjoyed it. We also didn't get a chance to order food (as we were full from the shower) but everything we saw come out from the kitchen area looked ah-ma-zing. They were pretty busy on the Saturday afternoon that we stopped in but they were able to seat us up in the upper area which was kind of fun because it allowed us to people watch and scope out all of the food coming out of the kitchen! Since we were only coming for drinks we did a couple rounds and each tried something a little different so we could get the full experience and literally every drink we had was incredible. Get the How Do You Like Them Apples or Java Mama and thank me later. On our way out we grabbed a bottle of our own dill aquavit and will never look back when making bloodies. Can't wait to get back and try the food!

Wow! Completely blown away by the atmosphere, food, and stunning cocktails of 45th Parallel. Best friends ranted and raved about needing to make the trek from Minneapolis to New Richmond to check out this dining experience. The group I went with decided to do the antipasto appetizer to share- a perfect decision as the platter had something for everyone, though all items (especially the blue cheese and olives) were spectacular! I split the Antonio pizza which paired with the appetizer filled me up. As a mushroom lover, this pizza was right down my alley! After loving the Vesper cocktail, I ended up putting full trust in the bartenders and requesting they send up any spirit-forward cocktail they wanted to make- the key lime pie drink I got could only have been made by a bartending wizard!! Fun, lively, and decadent- 45th Parallel Distillery is a gem!

What an amazing spot for Sunday brunch with friends. The farmers market is right next door, making this the spot to hit when that hunger strikes. The spicy bloody Mary's are to die for. The wood fired pizza hits the spot and is super delicious. The bartender knows how to build the best cocktails with that magical touch. The prices are fair to match the thoughtful menu. Definitely coming back.

New Richmond is SO lucky to have this gem, and I drove all the way from Minneapolis to experience it! Some bartenders made the same trek when Marvel bar closed, and their skill is a blessing to rural Wisconsin! All of the bourbon cocktails were my absolute favorite, especially the Gold Rush!! SO amazing, but so was the gimlet so best of luck making your choice! The bartenders are also super personable and helpful with recommendations which can sometimes be missed with necessary COVID service modifications, so I truly appreciated it! Their new barn-style cocktail lounge with the circular bar in the middle and garage doors lends itself well to distancing customers and appropriate ventilation! There is also plenty of outdoor seating with fireplaces to keep you cozy if you prefer. The food options also held their own with the cocktails! The mushroom pizza was just what I needed for dinner and paired well with the drinks! The cheese board is also fire, though, and the bread on it is super tasty! I plan to return and sample more on the menu because I have yet to find something I don't love!

In the end, the three of us agreed that we definitely had a 5 star experience. We arrived at opening and we happened to be served by the owner himself - a really nice guy. He gave us a brief history of the bar, which is extensive. The Old Saloon has been around with the current name since 1975 (the building is a lot older). The current owner has been at the helm for 30 years! Obviously, he's knows what he's doing. Our food was excellent...everything from the Ellsworth Cheese Curds, the wings, the salad, the burger, the Chicago style hotdog, and the savory mac & cheese soup! Of course, since this is Wisconsin, they have a great selection of beer on tap. The prices were amazingly reasonable to. We probably would have paid double in the Twin Cities. The décor is cool too. Apparently, the owner's wife is the chief decorator and she does a great job. I particularly love the vintage and antique stuff. They have some very old and rare original neon signs, an old Schwinn Phantom, and an antique penny scale. There are a few reproductions here & there but most of it is totally original. Cool! Thanks for a great experience! Thumbs up! - Maxx

The bar was pretty empty at the time but a nice woman walked by us and made a few recommendations on the menu since she loved them so much. Lisa is the bartender and server. She was pleasant and regularly checked on us. Since the woman recommended the Chicken Wild Rice and Mushroom soup, we each decided to order a cup to go with our sandwiches. I ordered the BLT with fries. The bacon was crispy and the sandwich was delicious. Fries were hot and crispy. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. He said it was tasty. Now, to the chicken wild rice and mushroom soup. This is by far the most delicious wild rice soup we have ever eaten. My husband, being from the area has grown up eating chicken wild rice soup so we've eaten a lot of it over time. We loved it so much we bought a quart to go. Apparently everyone else loves it as well as she had pre to go containers of the soup for purchase. Now, the only gripe I have is the charge for extra sauces like a small mayo, etc. Really? This is so petty to do to your customers. Just don't. Other than that, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

We would've tipped 10%, but with the terminals the servers use, it makes it very hard to. we normally like this place but will not be returning due to the bad service. the servers name was melissa. would not recommend sitting on the patio when she is serving.
