Tonight we were only couple in dining room at 530. They used to have fabulous deep fried mushrooms which we were expecting and that was not what we got. Mushrooms cut in half and not hot cold. Dinner was extremely disappointing. Prime rib sandwich served cold....taken back to microwave. Bavarian burger only warm...no melted cheese and without sauerkraut! Unacceptable. Service was fair. Not on the top of our list anymore. read more

Service is fast and friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Open seating. Bar seating as well as away from bar and tables and booths towards the patio. Ambiance modern bar in an old building gives it the cool old school feel with a modern vibe. Modern music helps with that. I ordered the Ras flame thrower basket comes with Cole slaw and French fries, I added a cheesy ham soup on the side. My guest ordered a Dago basket. There is a full bar with many varieties of beer and alcohol. Ok soup that I had was amazing. Big chunks of ham and chunks of potatoes smothered in a cheesy comfort blanket. The Dago sausage was very good. If you like the flavor of an old school meatball sub you'll really enjoy this. My burger medium well cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of jalapeño and pepper jack cheese. The fries were perfectly seasoned and had a snap to them not soggy at all. Love my fries like this. The coleslaw was surprisingly delicious. It's homemade and that makes the difference. Page the hostess/ bartender. Is so friendly and helpful. So hop into your car hit the 94 head east to Hammond WI for some amazing company and great food. read more

A chill diner with a next door bar. They had a pleasant patio out the back and a small game room connecting them all. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We chose the half serving of Chicken Alfredo and still needed to-go boxes, the servings were generous. The amount of mushroom in the dish was a little too strong for my taste, but overall it was delicious. I recommend stopping here if you're ever in town! read more

We were there for the fish/shrimp dinner and it was very good. They give you a very generous serviing of shrimp and we had two pieces of fish. We had a baked potato, it was a little under baked but other wise everything was just great. Our sever Alanna did a very nice job of taking care of us. We are looking forward to going back there very soon. read more

This place has some of the best Chicken Alfredo I have ever come across. And their Cheeseburger is easily the best in town.

We've been here for Friday fish which has always been good, but today we decided to try their weekend breakfast. Pancakes had great flavor and were large, but arrived cold; the country fried steak had been fried without the separator paper (paper between the burgers) being removed; and the hash brown scramble lacked flavor and had very little meat & veggies (which were extra to add). We ordered takeout on a Sunday during the Corona virus outbreak to support a local restaurant. We ordered the Italian sausage, pasta and meatballs and the pasra and sauce. The food was done when I arrived so all i can say was the server was friendly and the food was hot. The servings are huge and very good. The meatballs are almost about the size of a tennis ball and the italian sausage had just enough spice to it for a little kick but not too much. I would love to eat im the next time as the place has a wonderful reputation. I will be eating and drinking there again for sure. read more

Three friends and I went here on a Friday night after a visitation in Baldwin. We heard the fish fry was great so we all ordered it. It was a combination of fried shrimp and fried fish. The shrimp were very small and lots of batter but the fish was all batter. I could not taste any fluffy white fish on the inside of the greasy batter. It was very disappointing given the cost was $12.25 for all you can eat with a baked potato and they charge extra for sour cream. Maybe it was an off night, but none of us care to go back. read more

Great food and a great bar. I'm a Vikings fan, and this is a Packers bar, but it's not hostile like some places. Owner is very friendly. Comfortable place, probably the best bar in town. Real decent prices on beer and food. Monday night burger nights are the best! read more

Him... Well, the rain didn't cooperate on Saturday so we only made it halfway to the ride in Wilson. Since we were out and in Hammond we decided to stop and check out Ras' on Main. I knew there was a groupon, and we have been wanting to check it out. Our friends across the street at the Hammond Hotel had told us it was a good place. When we walked in the place was packed, there was Bingo going on. The patrons were all very friendly and actually pointed out a table that was open for us. The bartender greeted us immediatly as well. They had MooJoos on tap, so my choice for a beer was easy. We looked at the menu and decided to have lunch. The staff was very friendly and served us quickly even with the place packed as it was. I was going to get a burger but the server talked me into the "Hot Dago" a spicy Italian sausage sandwich. It was good choice and I was not disappointed, it was 2 patties on a hoagie roll, making it two sandwiches. The sausage was the right amount of spicy and sauce was delicious. A part of the roll was a little soggy from the patty but did not affect the flavor, although toasting the roll may have made it even better. I will ask for this next time. The fresh made and home made way of making the food was apparent and will bring us back to Ras' to try out more. The decor was to my liking as there were plenty of Green Bay Packer, Milwaukee Brewer, and Badger memorabilia all over. There were many TV's in the bar area and we watched the Belmont Stakes and the Brewer game while we were there. I found it to be a TRUE sports bar when I used the restroom and there was a TV in there as well, I did not miss one second of the Brewer game. Overall I enjoyed the experience at Ras' and everyone was friendly. I purchased the Groupon while we were there with my mobile app and we used it for lunch which made it a super deal! Ras' has so many drink and food specials going on for all sporting events as well as happy hour and I saw a flyer they had up that Dad's eat free on Father's Day. We did not get out to the back patio as the weather sucked but it looks to be set up very well also. I would recommend stopping at Ras' for a cocktail and food if you are in the area. It sounds like they have a good fish fry too, hand battered fish, so we will have to try that in the near future. Look for that review! Her... I was pleasantly surprised by this "hole in the wall" pub. Service began before we even walked in the door. One of the employees was out front enjoying a respiratory treament (smoking break), she greeted us with a smile and few friendly words. We came in and bingo was in full swing! Seemed as if everyone in Hammond was there for bingo! However, there was one table left and it was quickly offered up to us. We had two servers the entire time and they could not have been more attentive. Stephanie was sweet and very knowledgeable. She made us feel right at home. Their hamburgers are hand patted and their sauces, dressings and soups are all home made. I ordered a burger with provolone and marinara... BEAUTIFUL! Delicious, juicy, perfectly done and quick!!! Half of the fun is just taking it all in. More Packer, Brewer, Badger memoriabilia than you would think is possible to pack into one place. Even the carpet has Packer logos! This place has the best pasta ever!!! You wouldn't think with the small kitchen they could make such quality food. This place is a must try, the deep fried cauliflower and mushrooms are FRESH and amazing!!! Will most definitely go back. Great serve also. read more

We came here after going skydiving (Twin Cities Skydiving) . Great spot to grab a beer or two and great food as well . Allyn was our server; she was very welcoming, friendly , and provided us with a great service . We will definitely come back next time we visit from Puerto Rico! Cheers!!! read more

What a great find. This is one of those places you never find out about unless you talk to a local. This is all about small-town bar and grill that serves up great food. Friday fish and shrimp all you can eat for $12.25. I will definitely go back to try some of their other menu items. read more

I live in Hammond and I will drive to any other place instead of ras. First off, got there and the wife and I each ordered a spotted cow. When it got to us almost 15 minutes later it was warm and when we looked closer, we saw fruit Flys. We pointed it out to the bartender and she acted like we were bothering her. We got bottled beer and decided to try the food. We each ordered the ras burger. After almost 45 minutes we got our lunch. The frys were cold and soggy and the burger was bland and greasy. (There was only one other partyatthebar) We told the bartender again about the nasty food and she didn't seam to care. She turned around to the register, pushed some buttons on it and printed and turned around and handed us our bill. Then the (assuming)the owner came in and he was really drunk and started yelling at the bartender and then went back behind the bar and poured himself a drink. Not very professional. We then decided to leave. We paid our bill (did not leave a tip due to poor service) as we were walking out the door, we heard the bartender call us @ssholes, and then laughter. I will never go there again and I urge everyone else to stay far away from them. read more
