Great shop with friendly knowledgeable front desk help and stacked with badass artists. I've been here for walk-ins when they can accommodate and made appointments for bigger pieces. It's always clean, everyone is helpful and informative no matter if it's your first tattoo or your hundredth. I've gotten tattooed by most of the artists here. If I could give this place no stars I would. Went in as a walk-in and was told that there were 3 customers in front of me. That was fine with me because I needed to narrow down the design I wanted. I waited over 3 hours. The receptionist told me I would be next only to watch them take two other white men in front of me. I spoke with the receptionist and reminded her that I was next. She told me that they must've gotten their wires crossed but continued to service the two white men despite knowing I was next. They didn't offer an apology and the reception only shrugged her shoulders knowing damn well they were wrong......and yes, I'm a black woman. I wouldn't spend two dumpster soaked dollars in this piece of shit. read more

I have been tattooed by a few people and I have to say that the work and tattoo artists are professional and veterans in their field. They make their customers feel safe during Covid and accommodated me in every way. Chencho is a knowledgeable and solid tattoo artist. I highly recommend 45th for a true tattoo experience. read more

Incredibly poor customer service and a complete waste of time coming here. I called to see if they had availability, the guy who answered the phone said that they would around 7pm. I asked if I could reserve that time slot, they told me no and just to come at 7pm. So I did, I arrived at 7, walked in...the guy who was up front said that two other people came in before me and they no longer had the time available. Ok, fine. Totally understand that, but when a guest calls and is told what time to come in -- let them give you the business, which was an agreed upon time. Never once was I offered an apology for my inconvenience nor did they try to do anything to keep my business. Don't waste your time coming here -- they clearly don't want additional business if they're going to screw over new clients. read more

Hmmm where do i put it for starters something happened to my bank and my information was compromised. (Mind you this is like 3 months ago) And the artist still got his money at the end of the day. I walk in because you know they do walk ins all days of the week. I walk in on 7/21/23 and the lady at the computer rude for starters then i show her my ideas mind you they just opened and had 1 person waiting to be tattooed three of the artists were open and free to tattoo she tells me "that would be an appointment, and you would have to see if someone is willing to tattoo you" when i tell you i have never felt more uncomfortable in my life like seriously walk ins my a** i have cash baby girl that i was gonna use not card because i had to close my bank account ask questions before assuming your right about everything so hopefully they see this and maybe get in contact Thankyouu thats all so beat of luck if something happens to your guys banks and it ends up messing with them just know they all are very unpleasant about it and are not understanding. read more

It was actually terrible. Crazy covid restrictions. Wouldn't let me stay with my newly 18 year old daughter getting her first tattoo. Which was a shock so she is now extra scared to be alone and Chencho did nothing to help calm her and instead yelled at her for moving and sent her into a panic attack. He not so graciously "bent the rules" and allowed me to be with her. His attitude was arrogant, impatient and downright hurtful. Her tattoo looks good but We will never return and I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

By far , the best place to get a great tattoo for a great price. Chencho is a creative person who can come up with anything you want him to do and do it very well. They have a sign that says "Good tattoos arnt cheap,and cheap tattoos arnt good" . That is the best advice you could give to someone who wants some artwork. I've been to this shop twice now and this last time will not have me coming back. I went as a walk in and got a small tattoo for my grandmother who recently passed away. I worked with Zak who was nice but spent about 2 hours on a pretty small tattoo that I wouldn't imagine would take more than an hour. He went in on the same sections over and over and over, more than necessary, which became very uncomfortable by the end. After speaking with my usual tattoo artist he said it will most likely scar pretty badly. Almost 2 weeks later and my tattoo is still very red and swollen. It is not infected as I had it checked out of concern. I emailed the shop to show and tell them so they could let Zak know to try not to overwork skin and I never even got a response and it's been nearly a week. They did not seem to care about a paying, returning customer and it will prevent me from giving them any more business. read more
